One hole with Akshay Bhatia

growing up I I used to mimic everyone’s golf swing so like Bubba Freddy uh Sergio Phil like everyone and so I think that’s where the creative side kind of came out for me bubba so you you ever get the like that oh yeah I mean I would just freaking you know release it or just hold it I pretty much did that anytime whoever was leading the golf tournament for the week I’m actually via come play a hole with me I feel like most modern guys younger guys have like one shot that they just kind of hit you’re a little old school yeah I feel like I try and hit so many different shots and my kind of DNA is curving it a lot with driver especially and so when I have this Fairway where it’s like pretty wide open there’s no like tree trouble to start the hole I feel like I can just kind of squeeze it kind of get it out there so I mean you got out here so young it must be pretty cool because you were like a golf nerd growing up and you get to play against all the guys that you grew up watching yeah no it’s pretty crazy I I mean I’ve hung out with Ricky a couple times and uh obviously played a lot of proac with Phil and so it’s just pretty nuts like this is my life and you know I’m one of the guys now yeah you are yeah wow trackman out of the bunker oh yeah that is a tour sauce move if I’ve ever seen one before I don’t know if I’ve ever seen that before yeah you got I mean you got to know all this have trackman on the course just trying to figure out you know how how much it’s getting hurt and then if we have similar then we kind of you know have a better understanding you said that you were really focusing on playing well in the majors this year was there something that you did last year that you felt like wasn’t the right preparation or I just felt like I would get I would get to a point where I’m close to contention and then I just have sort of this drop off of you know making a couple bogeys in a row or or making a double and it’s just the worst feeling because I felt like man I was there I was there and then you know I end up finishing 30th or or missing the coton I just know how close I am to there yeah it’s just cleaning up a couple mental errors and and you have to be so focused
