Most push carts are an absolute pain to open and close. But what if I told you I found one that opens itself in two seconds flat? Plus, it’s got every other premium feature you’d want in a push cart. [Applause] Plus, it closes just as fast. All right, let me show you how to open the Nitron autoop open push cart. Could not be simpler. You’ve got the one gray lever here. Nice and meaty. You grab the big cushy handle. You lift up gently and the nitro piston does 98% of the work. You come here, you lock it in place at the level you want it, throw your cart on there or your bag, and you’re good to go. I’ve tested a lot of push carts over the years for golfer geeks and this is the only auto open model I’ve come across. It practically opens itself. You just have to kind of get it started. And the best part or an equally good part is when you’re ready to go, uh, it’s almost as easy or just as easy. You unlock this. I suggest dropping it down a little bit for better leverage. You grab this handle and you just push them together. You see the wheel retracts itself. lock that in place and you have your carrying handle here. Or if you’re so inclined, this can be your carrying handle. All right, let’s show you kind of what the storage area is all about. You can see it’s very roomy in here. You can put your golf balls in there. You can put your wallet if you’re so inclined. You can put your keys. I tend to put the stuff in my values bag valuables bag in my bag, but you know, to each his own. You can put some T’s in here. See if I have some of those to show you. Right there. Keep a score card here. Here’s your scoring pencil. This closes up nicely. And I use a Sky Caddy when I play. And so what you can do there is stick that puppy there and just rock and roll like this. And also it’s got a umbrella holder that clips in here and you can put it on either side. I pretty much consider this a must if I’m going to push a cart for uh sun protection. And here’s where I like to put my drink. Uh this is my go-to water bottle. It sits right there very comfortably and very stable. You can also see right here if you’re on some type of slope or something, the handbrake is right there by the handle. Makes it very convenient to uh lock it in or to unlock it when you’re ready to go. Okay, next thing I want to show you is this big pouch down here. If it’s a cool day and you’re wearing layers, maybe you have a light three quarter or a quarter zip or something like that. Um, you can stow it in here. Uh, if it once it gets a little bit warmer or if it starts out warmer during the day and it gets cooler during the day, you can have it in here. You can put a hat, you can put a sweater, whatever you want pretty much. It’s very big. Snacks, all that stuff like that. All right. Next, I want to show you the top lock system, which is pretty awesome. to hold your bag. Um, bad news is it’s got to be a Bag Boy or a Day Track bag because they have the top lock mechanism on their bags and I’ll show you that right now. So, you just come here and you slip this in. Get this out the way a little bit. And you can see right here. And these things do not move. You can tip it forward, side to side. It’s really locked in. Now, you do have to go and lock the base of your bag as in with every other carrier, but once you do that, you are good to go. This is super easy way. You don’t even have to engage these handles here or these grips. Now, I have used this uh cart without using the top lock system. It works okay. Top lock system is better. No doubt about it. All right, we’ve taken a look at all the features of the Bad Boy Nitron. Let’s see how it performs on the course. Expertly modeled by myself. This is me closing it down. I just released the latch. Did a little push, lock the latch, and we’re good to go. Now, I’m going to reopen it so I can put the bag on it. Undo the latch. Give it a gentle pull. The nitro piston does the rest. Lock that handle the angle you like it. That’s a Bag Boy bag with the top lock system. So, we’re good to go to use that. You slide it right in the top like that. And you can see it kind of lines up the base automatically. You’ve got the bungee straps on the bottom, which is typical for a lot of push carts. You just give a little pull to both sides, latch it in there, you’re good to go. Here’s me with a little baby demonstration of how it rolls. I’ll give you a better one late later. Right. So, we’re going to reverse order to take the bag out. Undo the bottom bungee. Lift straight up. There are no straps at the top. Beautiful. And we’re going to find a stable place to put that bag because it’s a cart bag, not a stand bag. Now, we’re going to close this back again. Undo the gray handle. Drop the handle. Push and lock it back. And we are good to go there. All right. We’re going to demonstrate what it’s like to take the Bag Boy Nitron over a curb with a full bag. That’s a Bag Boy bag on there. This is the parking lot at my golf course. Uh over the curb once, you just pop up the front wheel. That’s a pretty steep curb around 45 degrees, I would imagine, through some fairly thickish rough. And what I’m going to show you now is coming down the hill over the same curb. Uh the Nitron is very stable. The bag does not move at all. Here’s me jumping over the curb again. Very stable bag. No issues whatsoever. All right. So, now I’m going to demonstrate uh the Bag Boy Nitron with a full bag going up over a hill. Then you’re going to see me turn around and bring it right back down the hill. So, that’s kind of a side slope and an ups slope there. Again, it’s probably around 45° thickish rough, but not too thick. Uh handles really well. Uh crest of the hill going down the other side now. All right. Now, I’m coming back over the hill again. And you can see downhill, sidehill, lie there. Uh, controlling the bag very well. No problems whatsoever. Very stable. Never feel like I’m going to lose the bag at any point doing this. All right, we’ve covered all the features of the Nitron. We’ve taken it to the course and see how it performs there. Now, it’s time for a final score. We rate push carts using seven categories. Build quality, roll, maneuverability, stability, storage, and accessories, folding and unfolding, and value. First category of build quality, we give the Nitron a four out of five. Premium construction, premium engineering. It feels substantial, yet it’s still lightweight. No-brainer for us. Next category is roll. We give the Nitron a five out of five. Whether you’re going uphill, downhill, sidehill, over curbs, we’ve had zero issues with the Nitron. Next up is maneuverability. We give the Nitron a four out of five. It would have a five if it had a swiveling front wheel. A personal preference of mine with the golf carts I’ve tested. Next up, we have stability. And we give the Nitron a five out of five. The wide wheel basease plus premium construction and the way it operates makes this one an easy call. Next up, we have storage and accessories. We give the Nitron a five out of five. The console is ample. The storage pouch beneath the console is ample. It’s got a place for your drink. It’s even comes with a an umbrella holder and a side latch for it. Five out of five for us. Next up, we have folding and unfolding. That’s a five out of five for the Nitron. The autoopen feature and nitro piston make this one another no-brainer. Next up, we have value. We give the Nitron a four out of five. Coming in at $299, it’s certainly not cheap, and I consider that premium pricing, but it’s in line with other premium push cords we’ve tried in the past, but you get premium performance, and this thing is going to be around a while.
