Been working on keeping my head more still, struggle with distance and have developed a nasty hook. Any tips? Side on as I wasn’t sure about how my swing looks at impact and if that’s correct
Your main issue off the tee could be your setup-you’re a bit upright at address. That can make you lose spine angle and rise a bit, which can send the swing over the top and produce a hook. Try a small forward tilt at address so your chest sits over the ball, and let the wrists relax a touch so the clubhead sits a bit lower. With that setup, you could feel more connection through impact and a more inside path, helping distance and flight. Your tempo looks balanced, and keeping your head steady could help you stay consistent as you work on the posture.
*Camera angle, steadiness, and recording speed directly affect swing-analysis accuracy.*

19 handicap and rising with this hook. Started hooking with driver now it’s moved to irons as well but most issue seems to be getting in trouble off the tee
