Carolina women’s golf competes for the second time this season when the Tar Heels travel to Franklin, Tenn., to play in Vanderbilt’s Mason Rudolph Championship at the Commodores’ Legends South Course.

The Tar Heels placed fourth in the season-opening Folds of Honor Collegiate. Megan Streicher (fourth at even-par 216) and Ing Iadpluem (T10th at 3-over 219) led Carolina.

Streicher and Iadpluem are joined in the lineup in Tennessee by Inez Ng, Helen Yeung and Reagan Southerland.

The field includes UNC, host Vanderbilt, Arizona State, Baylor, Charleston, Chattanooga, Clemson, Georgia Southern, Indiana, Lipscomb, Louisiana, Louisville, MTSU, Mississippi State, Richmond and Western Kentucky.

The Tar Heels are paired with Vanderbilt and Mississippi State in Friday’s first round.
