Fleetwood thinks his putting is underrated with the Englishman having shown in that area on the PGA Tour this season. Tommy Fleetwood continued his preparations for the Ryder Cup by playing at the BMW PGA Championship, which was won by European vice captain Alex Norin, but he claimed his maiden PGA Tour win at the very last event, triumphing at the Tour Championship last month. Fleetwood has since turned his focus to the DP World Tour with the BMW PGA Championship representing his first appearance since that win at East Lake and he finished T46 at Wentworth ending his week on eight under his champion Norin finished on 19 under. The Swede battled past Adrien Sadier in a playoff claiming his 12th DP World Tour win and second at the BMW PGA Championship. And Fleetwood has now reacted to that victory on social media, writing on Instagram, “Can’t thank everyone enough at the BMW PGA Championship this week for their support yet again. Not the golf that we wanted, but the putt on Friday evening to make the cut and the reception was a beautiful highlight. Amazing golf from Adrian Sadia right now. And congrats to our team Europe brother Alex Norin for the great golf and win here. Next stop, European Rder Cup team.
