English has been a staple on the PGA Tour for over a decade, with multiple wins to his name. In that time, he has amassed more than $40 million in prize money, thanks to over 50 top-10 finishes.
The former Georgia Bulldogs star has also represented Team USA in both the Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup.
And at the heart of it all is Helen Marie Bowers.
Who is Harris English’s wife?
Harris and Helen Marie first met at the University of Georgia, where Harris was making a name for himself as a standout on the Bulldogs golf team. Their relationship began during those years in Athens, and they have been together ever since.
After dating for several years, the couple tied the knot in 2017, with a ceremony attended by family, friends, and several PGA Tour peers.
They have since made their home in Sea Island, Georgia, a close-knit golfing hub that many professionals call home. When they’re not on the road during the busy PGA Tour schedule, the couple base themselves there with their daughter Emilia, who they welcomed on July 10, 2023.
When Harris returned from hip surgery in 2022 to reclaim his place on the PGA Tour, he credited Helen Marie’s support as a huge factor in his comeback.
Unlike some PGA Tour partners, Helen Marie keeps a private profile and is rarely active on social media. That said, she’s a regular face at tournaments when Harris is competing.
She has been there for some of Harris’s biggest career moments, including his victories on the PGA Tour and his appearances in team golf. She was present during the 2021 Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits, where Harris helped Team USA secure a record-breaking win.
