Hey everyone, Lavia here, one of the founders of ADV. Super excited to walk you through our newest addition to the ADV lineup, the Flex Backpack. Here it is in all its glory. This one’s for tennis and pickleball players who want serious functionality without lugging a giant bag. It’s compact, versatile, and loaded with a bunch of smart features. Whether it’s your go-to everyday bag or a sidekick to your tennis pro or pickle ball pro, a backpack V2, the Flex is designed to flex. And yeah, this kind of flex, too. Anyway, let’s break it down like we always do. First up, design and materials. And then second up, functionality and features. But first, here’s how Flex fits into the ADV bag family. We’ve got our pro bags, the Tennis Pro and the Pickle Ball Pro. These are the biggest beasts in our lineup. Built for tournament players, they carry tons of gear, have huge coolers, and focus purely on court performance. They’re awesome, just not meant for everyday carry. Then there’s our backpack V2. Still great for both sports, but in a more travel ready format. It still holds a lot. Holds three rackets or six paddles and enough clothes for a two or three night trip. I’ve done a four night trip with it personally. It’s also got a cooler, tons of organization, and a racket. So, think of it as a bigger pack that can still be used for everyday carry. Now, enter Flex, our most compact everyday ready bag yet. It’s got the same top-notch organization you expect from ADV with some new tricks to make your daily transitions from court to cafe to commute seamless. Think of it as your grab-and-go gear command center. All righty, on to designs and materials. The Flex Backpack is sleek, structured, and crazy adaptable. Compact enough for daily use and capable capable enough for a full court day. Like every ADV bag, Flex follows our design DNA. Clean lines, sharp structure, and just the right amount of edge. The branding is subtle, no loud logos, so you can roll into the club, the cafe, or the office without looking like you’re a walking billboard. We’ve kept the same elevated material feel, the rugged construction, and of course, that bright interior lining to help you find your gear without spelunking into the abyss. It’s built to blend performance with polish. whether you’re on the court or off the clock. And yep, it also stands upright and also hangs up on a fence or maybe a hotel closet. Colorways, we’ve got five, Vault, Lava, Midnight, and two new ones, Dune, and Aqua. As for the build, it’s has that same rugged 400D dualcoated weatherproof coated nylon and a reinforced 700D tarpoline bottom. And we of course only need YKK zippers. They are simply the best. We also have reinforced hand sewing and reinforced webbing. Like other ADB bags, it also includes an extensive warranty. On to functionality. First up, let’s talk about racket and paddle storage. There’s a dedicated paddic compartment with reflective thermal lining that holds up to two rackets or two paddles, keeping them protected from heat, bumps, scratches, etc. Do you need a third paddle? The magnetic exterior sleeve has you covered. It’s not just great for a paddle, but you could also fit a light jacket, a book, snacks, you name it. We also added a racket latch zipper so you can secure the handles upright or angled. Upright avoids accidentally hitting people in the head while you’re walking through a crowd or an airport. While angled allows you to wear a helmet and lift your head up so when you bike you don’t, you know, knock your head. Right on to organization. Outside of the racket and paddle storage, the Flex packs 15 compartments and pockets. Yep. 15. And every single one is there for a reason. Let me walk you through a few of my favorites. First one is a quick access pocket for things like grips, snacks, your phone, keys, wallets, chargers, plugs, etc. Tons of stuff can fit in this quick access pocket. A toiletry pocket for storing things that will inevitably get messy. So, no more sunscreen, lotion explosions. dedicated laptop sleeve that fits a 16-in computer that has a wide seal zipper and a protective false bottom to protect it from breaking when you drop it. Hidden back panel pocket for your valuables and easy grabbing without actually having to take the bag off. There’s also dual bottle holders on the outside that fit big bottles, tall bottles, standard bottles, short bottles, all types of bottles. Need more space? The expandable gear canopy is a total game changer. It’s like having an extra backpack attached to your backpack. Here’s just a very actual real list of the stuff that I’ve stuffed in there. Size 13 shoes, a fulls size helmet, packing cubes, a an oddly large bag of bananas, a kids lunchbox, and Bluey and bingo studies. Whether it’s postmatch gear, commute extras, or kid chaos, this canopy’s got your back. Flex also works seamlessly with our ADV packing cubes for keeping things clean, sorted, and travel ready. Speaking of travel, it’s TSA personal item compliant. It has a luggage loop for easy rolling and three handles for quick grab maneuverability. That’s the flex. Smart, sleek, built to work as hard as you do and just compact enough to bring everywhere. It handles series gear minus the series bulk. Happy hitting.

  1. The amount of thought that goes into every product ya'll release is just awesome! One day, I would LOVE to see a hybrid tournament bag that has detachable wheels for when my out of shape behind is cramping on the court and cannot put a heavy bag on my back… but this is awesome!

  2. I am an owner of a ADV Tennis Backpack, which is less than a year old and the first time I used the pouch at the bottom of the bag, (1 month ago) the zipper broke, so knowing how Lavie talks the talk about his high quality and customer support, I sent multiple emails to ADV and to Lavie directly, and received no response, whatsoever!
Please understand, I bought into ADV big time originally, the Backpack, Packing Cubes, Dampeners, and I simply asked for some assistance for a quality issue with his product, and No Reply. By the way, own 4 tennis bags of varying sizes of all the top companies, Wilson, Head, Babolat, and Nike, (which is the best bag of them all, but I wanted a backpack) and have owned over 10 tennis bags over 20 years of playing tennis, and I so hoped ADV would be the answer, but sadly, no!
So, buyer beware, ADV seems to be just a churn and burn company like all the rest!
