CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women’s golf season has finally arrived as the team is wrapping up its preparation for its first tournament of the Fall schedule. The Crimson will begin its campaign this weekend at the 2025 Lady Paladin Invitational, hosted by Furman at the Furman University Golf Club. The Crimson will compete against a talented field in South Carolina as it begins its chase for the Ivy League Championship this Spring.

Format: 54 Holes/three rounds; 18 Holes per round/day.
Scoring: Five-golfer teams counting the top four scores from each round

Notes and Storylines
The Crimson will begin its four-tournament Fall season this weekend at the Lady Paladin.
Senior Iris Wang returns to the team and will captain Harvard women’s golf for a second season.
The 2025 Ivy League Individual Champion, Vanessa Zhang, is set to return for her sophomore campaign after a record setting first-year season.
Fellow first-year, Lucy Yuan, is also back in the Crimson lineup and will look to build off a strong first collegiate season.
A junior, Bonnie Zhai is back with the Crimson and will look to add to her collegiate resume that includes two top ten finishes and four top 25 results.
The Crimson welcomed a new face to its program this season in first-year Nikki Iniakov. A first year out of Prunendale, California, Iniakov will look to make an immediate impact at the Lady Paladin for her collegiate debut.
Zhang’s 72.37 scoring average led the team and was followed by Wang’s average of 74.95 and Yuan’s 75.00.
Zhang also made headlines after making her first appearance at the 2025 NCAA Regional Golf Tournament in Columbus, Ohio last season. Her T-14 finish in the tournament was the second-best placement by a Harvard golfer in the regional round.
Zhang finished last season with an individual ranking of No. 144 and a high ranking of No. 137 after securing seven top 10 finishes in nine tournaments.

Harvard will be back on the course on Oct. 4-5 when it travels to New Jersey to compete in the 2025 Princeton Invitational.
