Felt like you might have it worked out after 14……. Nope. Lolz Yeah I’ve done that shit before but I generally do it in reverse.
Waste-Bodybuilder527
I went from shooting in the mid 80’s this season to a guy who feels like he’s never held a club and is clanking it off the partition at the range now. My meltdown is season long. No just by the round.
Thanksss123456789
My biggest personal meltdown was earlier this year. I’m a 5 handicap and was 1 under through 15, I finished with a +5 75. Worst part was I laid up on a short par 4 16 and went OB to start the collapse. Fuccing golf man.
BraskosLaskos
I went 57/35 before, and have never broken 80…35 for me is insane, reverse meltdown
Accomplished-Two1992
I’ve had a similar scorecard but was under par through 5 and finished with a 1 over front nine. Similar back nine number.
No matter what though going from 30’s to 50’s is a shitty feeling. Much rather it be the other way around .
remaxxximus
I broke 40 on the front or back 3 times before ever breaking 90.
GappyHilmore69
OMFG! Meltdown? That is a straight nuclear implosion!

For_myDayJob
29-41 to shoot 70, felt bad.

You might toss and turn about this one tonight – mucho replays in the head
Leading tournament after 9 by 4 strokes with a 3 under par front nine. Shot a blistering 15 over 51 on the back nine.
FancyErection
Last round, 42 front, 59 back

Been there – 9 hole Monday golf league – shot a 38 – next week shot 52. Same course etc. just me being stupider.

This is so ironic on the timing. Golfing with my buddy he went 39/57 this weekend I went 45/39. The difference in our moods having a 39 on the back vs the front was pretty obvious.
We both only lately started consistently hitting in the 80’s and the first time for either of us having a 39. I at least had a great day.
i_am_roboto
It’s funny mine are always the other way around. It’s always the front nine that’s a complete blowup and then once I don’t care about the score anymore I shoot a great round on the back.
Did this in reverse. I went 55/36 in a junior tournament years ago.
blackplastic97
I shot 72 on 9 holes one morning. Playing solo. Nobody else on the course. Beautiful morning.
TwoPumpTony
I played a round like this before. Guess what hole I started smoking ✅ on?

37-48 = 85 earlier this year
Successful-Speaker58
I’m usually the opposite, out in 52 in in 40.

This past week I tied my PB at a new course…with a 3-drop quad on the second hole, after duffing a chip and bogeying the first. Managed to lose 2 more balls, had a snap hook that turned a 350 yard par 4 into a 300 yard par 3. Separately I parred a nemesis hole for the first time with a bombed drive, good approach shot, and a 2 putt on a difficult green. Later had a ridiculously hot tee shot that flew an extra 20 yards, carried the fairway, hit a stump, and ricocheted perfectly around a dogleg left for another. I had some unreal rescue shots and was getting up and down pretty well.
Because of how that started I didn’t realize it until after I finished up, I had mentally written the day off lol
Rundiggity
Finished the front nine with five pars on Friday. Shot a 52 on the back. It was hot and I was tired. Hard ass course ate my lunch.
This was maybe my best 9 ever. Started slow but then felt like I couldn’t miss.
Took the turn and forgot everything. 60 on the back 9 for a 105. That day hurt.
PliableG0AT
Ive been -7 through 8 (never been that low before, or even close to that low), sitting in the fairway on the 9th with a simple short iron into the green, chunked it into the waste and then kept compounding errors… I walked off +1. Finished with a 81 with an eagle on the 18th.
HASHTAG_YOLOSWAG
i was even once and spiethed 18 badly enough to achieve an 11

It’s a hard game.

GIR almost every hole…. 3 putt every hole….
ShiroHachiRoku
I shot a 62/43 at Torrey Pines South 3 years ago.
YeshuaSnow
I did have a buddy go 38-58 a couple of summers ago
raykruger
lol… three years ago I shot a 37/57. At that time it was my best 18 hole score.
jump-blues-5678
Always remember, Tiger shot a 10 on a parr 3.
EventualCyborg
Mine was close. Shot a 42 on the front 9. Went triple- triple- double- triple- triple- double on the back 9. Capped it off with a 15 ft birdie putt on 18, and proceeded to 3 putt for bogey. 55 on the back 9.
Kagevjijon
I had a reverse meltdown. Shot 45 on the front and 33 on the back. It was the most depressing 78 of my life.
BingBongthe2nd
Man, I would frame this score card if it were my score.
An__D
Shot a -4 68 in the first round of my club championship and had a 7 shot lead. Shot +7 79 second round and lost by 2.

WhoaABlueCar
30-44. Lipped out pretty aggressively on 9 which would’ve been a 29. That was like 4 years or so ago and I’ve never come close to 30 since
kjtobia
I’m a 0.6 index and I shot a 90 a couple of weeks back. While shooting that 90, I had 25 putts and got up and down inside of 50 yards 8/12 times. I couldn’t put a tee ball in play or hit an iron.
Sparky14-1982
I remember one tournament at a great course. Started on #10, which has OB left and a lake right off the tee. I went OB, OB, OB, then water. Took a 14 (+9) on that hole. Shot -2 on the other 17 to finish at 79.
SmiteThe
I hit 17 greens in regulation, then 3-putted 13 times. Re-named my putter Judas and then retired it.
