How did the European Rider Cup team players get on at Wentworth in the final competitive event on the DP World Tour before heading off to Beth Paige Black for the Ryder Cup? Till Hatton, Victor Hovindland, and Matt Fitzpatrick tied fifth, 15 under par, only four shots behind the eventual winner Alex Noran. John Ram tied 13th, 13 under par and just keeps churning out good results. Ludvig Oberg and Rory Maroy tied 20th and 12 under par. Nice show of form from Oberg and a stunning seven under round from Mackoy on the final day. Shane Lowry and Tommy Fleetwood tied 46th, eight underpar. Solid but not spectacular from both. Justin Rose tied 64th, six under par. A poor weekend following a 67 and 66 on the first two days. Is that a concern? Robert McIntyre tied 74th two under par, but weirdly due to the number that made the 36 hole cut and delays the DP World Tour made a third round extra cut which McIntyre fell the wrong side of otherwise he would have played Sunday. Raasmas Hoygard tied 128 five overpower and missed the cut. Check out my other short on this specifically. Sepraker did not play.
