Strong par4 here at the seventh. Steven Elker love that golf swing especially when it produces shots like that. Dirty putt here at the fifth [Applause] across the green man. He’ll have some he’ll have some status real soon. Yeah. Around the world. Hey, he would win the US Open what, two years later. Later, that’s the birdie putt for Steve Flesh. And he’s got it. 17 playing 186 yds today. Just beyond the flag stick. It goes away towards the back of the green, but that was very nice there for Robert. Yeah, good place to putt from right here. He’ll go to his right. Nice bounce back. EVP back to five under co-leader along with Robert Carlson up one to the 14th and Ratif Genen trying to move to four under. Our track band tracers presented by the South Dakota Department of Highway Safety. Plan a sober ride home. That’s a wonderful shot there, John. It’s in there about 8 ft. We’ll nip back for the eagle putt of Jimenez. Gets four under. Nice approach in here on the par five and does catch the left edge of the hole. clanked one off the flag stick at 11 and and Eagle there at 12. We’ll go to 18 now. Nice drive from Cabrera. Yeah, beautiful T- shot. See if he can get it on that back level. Go in. Go in. Go in. Go in. I guess so. Look at those two shots to cap the day with a birdie for the lead. There it is. The lone round of the day. 64 for Anel who missed just one green in regulation throughout this opening round. That’s to move the ball from right to left. Uh-oh. The best we’ve seen today. Easily the best we’ve seen today. The high point of the round for last week’s winner is at the sixth year. the par three. 154 yds for the big easy up the up the hill. Pins in the middle right corner. Vampelt in the last group of the day along with Rativ Gusen and Anel Cabrera. Picked up another one here at the six to move to minus 8. Big breaking left to right rider up to the 12th here and Chad Campbell looking to birdie at the par five now from the back of the green have got plenty of length to reach this green and two so a little out of position it’s T-shot but four on the card up to 11 Mike Weir up against the curb there at the par4 long distance from the back of the Green. Oh, well, we saw Brian Gay almost hold a a pitch shot and Mike Weir from downtown back to the 12th par five and him minute. Good T- shot here from Miguel made eagle here yesterday. Get up that. Oh boy. Yes, it was. Somebody said really nice shot. Yes, it was. When we were away in the break, this was Gusen’s second into the par five 12. 211 from a good line dead into the teeth of the wind. Get up a little. It does. Oh, John, what a great shot. Just didn’t have quite a good enough lie. That’s from just outside 100 yards. Also into the wind. Cannot over spin this. And he doesn’t. Oh, what a wonderful shot. Yeah, he’s 35th in the Schwab Cup points race. Would love to get to Phoenix and some of that will help. Yeah, he’s just a moment ago up at 18. This was Brian Gay skirting the collar there. Here it comes for birdie. Yeah, down the slope it goes. Does it go? Oh, it does. Goes right to the bottom. It was always his calling card on the PJ tour. Type of shot will he try to hold it up against that wind. Try to swing it from right to left. The danger of that is going too much. And oh, got the nice kick. Misjudged second shot. Left is short of the green. Then a mis hit third. [Music] How about it? How about it? What a four. And what a day for Bo Vampel. They will say four on the card. The firmness and this wind is turning this leaderboard on its ear. Downhill moving from right to left. You have to play a little wind on this too. There you go. That opens it opens the door a little bit. He shot 30 on the front nine both Friday and Saturday. Wow. Little fist bump there. He knows. Yeah, he knows. Now has a good birdie look at eight. Alker has crept to within four, but has a long one on his hands for par here at 10. Oh yeah. Oh, remember that one. Remember that par save Ala gets near the lead. He’s seen a couple of good ones. And this looks like another good one. Three good opportunities there, John. A little easier actually. This to widen his lead. Gooseen knocks one in. Second birdie of the round out to the 10th with Vampel. Two putts from here will do just fine. Yeah. From the bottom of the green to the top of the green. Right there up the ridge. Oh, how about one will do even better with DDP. And then just a moment after that, Gusen after a terrific third shot, able to pay it off to get him out of his 12. Beautiful high line. Let it drip into that right side of the hole. Elkers found the bunker here at 12. Fourth shot. Fourth shot. Must have driven it out of play. Had to lay the ball up, but he still makes a four. made a long putt from off the green for par at at 10. Anything right of the flag would be preferable. Get it on that back shelf as well with something like that right there, John. What a nice golf shot. He has made a mile of putts today. Great birdie there for Bo Van Pelt. Slices into that lead. Freddy Jakobson pretty much birdied every hole coming down the stretch. So it can be done. So this could be a good start. There it is. Beautiful shot. Get gets it in there about 7 ft. Birdie’s at seven. Tough hole. 10 toughest hole in the golf course today. And 13. Second toughest hole in the golf course. And how about 14? How’s he rolling it? Why not? He is feeling it. Just got to put some air under it. it just over the bunker. Let it roll out. Little something like that. Yep. He’s got it lined up just outside that right. All right. Okay. Advantage for Chief Gusen. Only player in the group to make birdie here at 16. And you can’t miss it. Has to be going left. Yeah, you can’t miss it over there. It’ll be on the up slope. It’s not horrible. Just dump it on the green. Let it roll out. Don’t really know he could have done a whole lot better than that. That’s a horrendous lie. This for par for for Bo. Did he do it? Oh, offline with the T-shot at 17. Just missed it in the wrong spot and it’s going to cost Vampeloki. May just cost him the tournament. I’m not sure what’s going on with that. What a day. This is right up the middle of the fairway. I’ll tell you what, he he is swinging so well and we we’ve seen he’s got a beautiful golf swing. Great rhythm, great athleticism. Sometimes he kind of gets a little bit off. You might get a little cuppy on the top of his Oh, he’s going to he’s taking it in low. He’s sucking it all the way up there. That’s not going to get up. That’s not going to get there. No, it’s not. That was a curious decision right there. That’s a very slow putt from down there. It’s hard to judge the second part. It’s so slow the first part and then it keeps going uphill once it gets on top. Still two putts to win. Sure. Yeah. Only had 82 yards. Maybe just felt like it was a little too close. That’s pretty good pace right there though. Yeah. leaves him underneath the ball jump. Yep. It’s not good, but not much to this. Just up the hill. And there it is. And the goose guts one out. What a performance on the final day as the South African takes down the title at the Sanford International. And he’s back in the winner circle. PGA Tour champions victory number four off for Ratif Genen. What a what a week here. Stanford International Sou Falls. Just another great show as it always is for the eighth year here. Congratulations uh to Ratif Gusen, the last man standing.
