MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Belmont men’s golf team is in 10th place after day one of the Grover Page Classic held Monday at The Links at Audubon in Memphis.
Belmont carded rounds of 286 on Monday to finish the day in 10th place at 572. Central Arkansas has the team lead at 542, with host UT-Martin in second at 549.
Two Bruins are among the top-30 after 36 holes. Senior Conner Brown and junior Chris Harpum are each tied for 29th place at 141. Brown shot rounds of 72 and 69, while Harpum posted scores of 70 and 71.
UT-Martin’s John Gregory Wilson is the individual leader at 133.
Other Belmont scores from day one includes: freshman Jack Doyle (T-54, 144), freshman Charlie Spiller (T-68, 146), and sophomore Brennan Cozad (T-87, 149).
Junior Grey Goff, competing as an individual, is tied for 54th place at 144.
