Hey guys, welcome back to Modern Golf. Hope you’re having a great day and better week. Today we’re talking about the hottest cool products that we love and that are brand new in golf in September of 2025. If you are new here, my name is Jeff. This is Modern Golf. We review everything for golf from equipment to apparel to shoes to tech, you name it. So today we’re talking about and we do every month the hottest new products that have hit either the online shelves or reality shelves uh that are brand new for the golf space. First thing we’re going to talk about today is this and we’ll do a full review of this. This is the brand new Golf Projects collaboration with Sunday Golf and this is kind of a cool duffel bag that also can hold camera stuff and all kinds of stuff. But this is brand new and this review will be out shortly. This is one of the hottest things that is brand new in September. Another hot new thing that really has kind of surprised a lot of people is Lab Golf with their HS or their heel shafted series. They’re first doing it with the OZ1. Do not be surprised at the end of this year if you see every model, the DF3, the MEZ, the Mez Max, you name it, all with a heel shafted version. I’m telling you, it’s coming. I think the other thing we’re going to see this year or certainly next year is the different materials on the faces. is the OZ one was the first one uh with the I which is the stainless steel insert, hence the I for insert. Um I think you’re going to see this in every one of their putters as well. Uh not only going back to rewind some of their original designs, I think going forward you’re going to see multiple uh materials in all their putters. So I would say first, but second on this list for the hottest things that we’ve seen in September are the brand new lab putters. The next thing on this list, uh, and friends of ours, and we really have enjoyed all their products, um, is Ghost Golf with their new Azour line. So, the Azour line, um, is kind of a product of this new animal that they created at the PGA show. So, they have these very limited edition colorways that I wasn’t sure, to be honest with you when I saw them in January how they were going to launch them. So, I think now we’ve seen uh, every month we’re probably going to see a limited edition, which I am here for. Uh, the Azor comes in in a number of different bags and carrying cases. Very limited. So, if you don’t get on the bus and you want one now, you probably won’t get one or you’ll be paying some stupid high uh resale value. But, we are loving what Ghost Golf is doing with the new Azour line of golf bags. Not brand new, but I thought I’d bring it up this month because I kind of re-evaluating some of these. And that’s the Detroit putter company. So, we had done a review a couple years ago of uh their Grand River, which is a very cool Newport 2 looking putter with a sight dot. Um I think it’s stainless steel, could be carbon steel. All I can tell you is the thing feels like nothing else. It’s a little wider blade uh material. I haven’t really tested this yet. Um with with I love a sight dot, very clean looking putters, incredible feel, incredible value. If you’re looking for a tour-like putter, but don’t want to spend three or $4,000, check out Detroit putter companies. Again, I’m a fan of the Grand River. The feel is spec spectacular. Um, again, I love the new aesthetics and again, I think you’ll be very happy with, uh, the price point under 400 bucks. Very, very high quality putters. Devo, uh, Devo out of Arizona had launched a new series and they’re con they’re constantly kind of reinventing themselves with new products and all that. One of the things we really like is their new head cover and I’ll put up the information. Uh what I like about Devo, it’s high quality stuff. And again, none of these are affiliates, so you won’t find discounts or anything for this stuff. Um you will see very high quality products, very kind of trendy uh kind of clothing. They do some very cool stuff. Very limited, doesn’t last very long, but they have some very cool head covers. I like uh the quality, and I also like the price points. I think that they’re affordable for most people. So, next on the list is the Devo head cover series for this new limited edition uh in this bright fluorescent colorway. Newish, I won’t say brand new, but newish to this list. Um, and I think they came out the end of August are the Ping I240 irons. If you are a, uh, lackluster, let’s say, ball striker, which I am, and I play, I would consider myself a mid- handicap. I think my lower index was around an eight. I don’t know where it’s at currently. I don’t even pay attention much anymore. Uh, but if you’re not a great ball striker, I would say check these out. Very good irons. I was just a club champion a week or so ago and checked them out. Really, really like them. Very long, very forgiving, and they don’t look like a super forgiving iron. They look kind of a very contemporary uh like I play uh the Mazuno 225s. They look something like that, just a little longer of a blade. Uh but not much, but play really, really forgiving. So, those are very cool and new for September. One of the things that I love to do is decorate my golf clubs. And so we got these as samples uh maybe a month or so ago. And I’ll put all the information up this company, but if you’re looking for Hzle decoration, BNF was probably the only show in town. Uh this company, I’ll put all their information up, don’t worry. Uh they’ve come out with kind of their own. They have some very cool ones. Here’s one with the little hearts on them. They have some camo ones. They have some plaid ones. They send us all the different ones to kind of test out here. here. If you’re from Chicago, you can kind of get that color way. But some very cool um Hzel decorations. Here’s one with skulls and a little red tip on it. But some very cool. If you don’t like what BBF does, I BNF or BBF. Um check out these guys. Again, I’ll put all the information up. We are enjoying these. I’m going to put these I think on all my clubs. Literally just take one each and kind of a random look. Uh but very cool and again sort of new. They’ve been out for a few months, but wanted to kind of put these in September’s kind of what’s new golf balls. uh number of new golf balls uh that are out and going to be out here shortly. We’ll start with kind of the King. The Titus Prov1 has testing which means we’ll probably see here in the next I would say 30 or 60 days to hit retail is the Prov1X Left Dash. Probably the most played golf ball on tour. Um we’ll wrap up the golf ball side of things in the next month or two, probably more uh the end of the year of our opinion of the best golf balls by handicap and by price. uh not by a robot. And I think the Prov1 uh is very important on this list because I think a lot of people could play it even if you’re a mid or high handicap. What do we tell everybody? I’ll get off my soap box here. Uh look for a golf ball that’s that excels for you within 100 yards. Um yes, maybe a Prov 1X gets you five more yards longer, but a Bridgestone E12 is better for you around the green or vice versa. I would say start with the green and then go backwards. Um, and I think you’ll be much happier with selecting your golf balls. The other golf balls that we’ve kind of been surprised at, Toridge, uh, announced they’re coming out with golf balls here shortly. We’re excited to see those. That’ll be kind of a unusual, uh, thing for them. Have never done golf balls before. And then lastly, with the golf ball side of things, we are loving what we are loving what Vice did with these Oktoberfest golf balls. Uh, very cool. I’m I’m listen, I am here for the decorative golf balls. Uh, I like the soccer ball ones that Callaway has done. I love what Tailor Made does. I love what all these do. Have a little fun with the golf ball. And the other thing I like about it, it’s easy to find. Hey, I’m playing the Frankenstein monster golf ball today. Okay, easy to find. So, I’m loving what they’re doing. And I like that Vice is now really stepping up and also doing the same uh let’s say decor on golf ball. Vessel, our friends in California, they launched their new cart series uh with their cart bags. I haven’t seen them yet. I haven’t tested them. They just launched them a few days ago. Hopefully we’ll get our hands on these uh in the next month or two. Really like what Vessel does. Again, I I would call and I probably consider Vessel the bar setters for the golf industry. Uh certainly for cart bags, certainly for stand bags. I think uh they put something out and then the industry kind of reacts. So, I’m very interested to see what this golf bag really how it plays uh the usability and then also how the industry reacts uh if at all to the new to the new Vessel cart bags. Two other golf bags let’s talk about real quick. Catty Daddy. Uh we had done a review a couple weeks ago of their brand new hybrid golf bag. I will tell you pricing is going to be very aggressive on this. Uh I cannot tell you how pricing is, but I tell you between my discount and pricing, uh I think you will enjoy the price point. It’s almost half of what some of these brands are charging. The quality is great. They have now added a putter pit. Uh the material feels upgraded over the last versions. We have done every version they have. They’ve been incredible golf bags. So, if you’re looking for a golf bag for the holidays or for next year, definitely check out Caddyy Daddies. The other bag we want to talk about, which I I really am kind of super excited about and really want to see where this industry goes with this, are the afternoon golf bags. And the afternoon golf bag, we had done a review a number of weeks ago, but it is you basically buy a core golf bag, right? It’s basically like the inside shell of it. Uh and then you can buy the external skins. Um and I’ll put pictures up. Uh, so let’s say you wear one out or you’re tired of looking at a certain one or you’re one of those people who likes to change the look of their golf bag all the time. They do it. It’s very cool. The material on the golf skins right now is all uh like a fabric. Uh they’re coming out with the PU leather down the road. Uh that’ll be very cool. But a very cool and really I think industry changing golf bag by Afternoon Golf. The people at Swag uh as they always do are constantly evolving. They have come out with Major League Baseball head covers. Now, they’ve done some college. They just launched your NFL head cover. So, if you want your favorite uh NFL team head cover, they offer them all. Now, some are definitely better than others, but if you’re looking for a swag head cover this September for your favorite NFL team, they got you covered. Lastly, and I’ll wrap up, uh something that just launched. I’ll put pictures up. You’ll see a review of it down the road. Uh Tofosi just announced this very cool colorway with these coloranging lenses. We had talked about this before. I am loving Tofosi uh glasses. I think the price points are great. These color changing ones are crazy clear. Some of them are a little over the top regarding sizing. It looks like you’re riding uh a bike next to Lance Armstrong. But very cool colorways, very cool uh materials. Again, we love this coloranging lens. So, but very cool glasses from Tofosi that just launched a couple days ago. So, I hope you guys are enjoying what’s kind of new for September. Uh I did not expect to see this many new releases for September. We’ll see how October goes. Um, and then we go into Black Friday season and the end of the year and then January we start all over for some of these brands. So anyway, so I hope you guys enjoyed.
