[Music] A little birdie tells me you’ve done a lot of work on your swing speed over the winter. Why is that? No, I I’ve noticed the last, I don’t know, 5 to 10 years that he has been dropping. Uh so well let’s say 2 months ago I started uh I bought myself this uh little swing device and there’s a little protocol. So so it’s fun and now I’m trying to get the swing speed up but it quickly went up to I think where I used to be. Mhm. Which is not that much higher but at least it was another club. Uh but now the problem is to try to break through that and that’s not the easiest thing. Right. We’re out here. We’re on the golf course. We’ve got the Trackman. I’m going to put you under a little bit of pressure cuz you’ve got your driver in hand. We’re going to hit some shots and see what kind of numbers we can get. That’s always nice without warm up. So, yeah. I I I am hoping to get it up to close to 110 swing speed. Uh my ball speed just over 160 if I’m hitting it really well. See what we can do. And it is 160.4 160.3 ball speed off 107.3 club head speed. You’d be pretty happy to take that to the course. Yeah, that that’s if I can play with that. I’m super happy. So, you’ve got the speed stick you’ve been using just to really physically gain speed and power. Is there anything technically you’ve been working on or any little swing thoughts that you use to make sure you really unleash all that speed at the right time? When you’re working on it, you need to measure it because sometimes you feel super fast and you realize, yeah, that wasn’t that it wasn’t faster than anything else. And then sometimes you you find something and you go, I didn’t feel too fast and that was actually faster. So you go, okay, try to replicate that again and again and you learn new things about yourself and different feelings that you can use. That’s brilliant, Michael. Thank you so much for showing us how you’ve added that extra bit of power back to your game. Great to have you here on the Legends Tour and up around the leaderboards. Good luck this week. Thank you.
