If only younger Matt knew. From traveling across cities and states to seeing our favorite bands more times than we can count. We’ve come a long way from those elementary school days. I’m probably holding my ground. That I’ve known you that long. Even though you disagree. Matt, our relationship officially started in 2018, but you and I both know I’m crying. Your earliest appearance in my journals dates back to February 11th, 2006. But I think I like someone that I know a lot about, Matt, and I think he likes me, too. Even as an awkward sixth grader, I knew that you were someone that was meant to be in my life. [Music] Life has reunited Matt and Christina time and time again ever since. As if one single thread of gold had kept them quietly intertwined with every passing year. [Music] I’ve seen that they both have a great relationship. They’re both sensitive and caring for each other’s needs. And they mostly and likely they do this a lot. They compromise to make things right. This is what a marriage needs and they have it. And now here we are tonight and those two children from Stormbo Mountain who proudly declared themselves best friends at 11 years old have just now 20 years later proudly declared themselves as husband and wife. [Music] And it’s like the modern equivalent of the mixtape and a cute little gesture to show he’s thinking of me. You entwined yourself in the fabric of my life for 20 years. Every chapter, whether it’s a crush, a friend, a new romantic relationship, or a familiar place, you’ve been there for me. In that time, we have laughed together, cried together, and about everything in between. But most of all, we have grown together. Grown to love each other, grown to understand each other, and grown to be better people for each other. You make me a better person. [Music] Looks so good. Thank you. How are you? Good. How are you? I’ll always love you, little one. Matt, this new adventure, while seemingly daunting, feels simple because you’ve been there all along, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love you, Matt.
