Has anyone experienced this color staining on their projector? Cleaned with reverse osmosis water and soap.

Is that where your impact is? From dirty balls?

Looks like you’ve fired a full coffee cup at it!

I had a couple of small marks on mine that it picked up from the garage floor when installing it. I used a special carpet cleaning solution my wife gave me… and lots of water to continually ‘dilute’ the stain. Took a few days (20 mins here and 20 mins there) until I got it all out, but it looked good as new by the end.

With a stain that size, I’d be getting something like a spray bottle, and spraying water onto it with a clean towel behind – trying to flush it out. Or perhaps a clothes steamer (or iron) and using the steam to push the stain through onto a clean towel behind it.

If you are cleaning stains on a hitting screen you should use a steamer and a microfiber so you can lift it with out smearing it all over.

  4. The best way I’ve found to clean the screen is with our big carpet cleaner.

Take the screen down, lay it flat on a clean floor (important that it’s spotless or you’ll sucks stains onto the screen. Put some weights on the corners so it doesn’t move.

The big machine is the only way to get enough sucking power
