AI-powered golf tech company GOLF.AI has hired former world no.1 Sir Nick Faldo as the official voice of its new golf booking platform.
GOLF.AI is building AI Tee Times to instantly book a round of golf at public and resort courses around the globe, all from one centralised location via a simple voice call, WhatsApp, SMS or the GOLF.AI website or mobile app.
According to GOLF.AI founder and CEO Clive Mayhew, this allows users to bypass the maze of websites, booking engines, and inconsistent booking formats that frustrate golfers today.
From the first interaction, users will be guided by the instantly recognisable voice of Sir Nick, which millions of golf fans will be familiar with due to his two decades as lead golf analyst for CBS Sports and his coverage of major events such as the Sky TV broadcast of the Open Championship.
In addition to being its official voice, Sir Nick will also act as global ambassador for AI Tee Times, based on his belief in the enormous benefits to the sport of golf including to both golfers and golf courses.

Not only do players achieve greater choice and flexibility, but courses can also manage bookings more efficiently, over time helping to improve golf tourism and the way golf facilities operate and serve players, according to Sir Nick.
Sir Nick said: “AI will play a significant role in the future of golf. With AI Tee Times, GOLF.AI is making booking a round as easy as saying, ‘Book me 18 holes in Denver, this Saturday.’ Golfers won’t care which app does it, they’ll care who does it fastest, most accurately, and with the best experience. That’s exactly what GOLF.AI delivers, and I couldn’t be more excited to be involved.”
Clive Mayhew, CEO of GOLF. AI, added: “Sir Nick Faldo is a legend of the game and a trusted voice in golf. His involvement brings global credibility and reach to our mission of making golf more accessible, connected, and enjoyable for players everywhere.”
