(Sentosa Golf Club, Singapore): Sentosa Golf Club has become the first club in Asia to feature state-of-the-art Trackman technology on an all-grass driving range available for use by both members and the public, at one of the world’s most sustainable golf venues.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Sentosa Golf Club’s award-winning championship courses, The Serapong and The Tanjong, the introduction of the cutting-edge performance technology will provide a world-class training experience, reinforcing Sentosa Golf Club’s reputation as a pioneer in the global golf industry.
Dedicated bays are now powered by advanced radar technology giving golfers instant access to ball flight and club data, in-depth performance analysis, and interactive practice modes, designed to deliver unmatched precision, feedback, and playability.
Andy Johnston, General Manager and Director of Agronomy at Sentosa Golf Club, commented: “The installation of Trackman to the Range at Sentosa Golf Club marks a significant milestone for golf in Asia. By uniting the world’s most advanced technology with the premium feel of club on turf, we are delivering an experience that is both world-class and accessible to all golfers.”
With The Serapong recognised as Asia’s Best Golf Course in the 2024 World Golf Awards, the club continues to push boundaries in both innovation and sustainability, while continuing to be the host venue of prestigious tournaments, including the HSBC Women’s World Championship and LIV Golf Singapore.
Among the first to have the opportunity to try out the enhanced facilities will be those playing in the SG60 Charity Golf Day, which coincides with the launch. Celebrating the 60th anniversary of Singapore’s independence, all proceeds from the day will support community and youth development initiatives nationwide.
Johnston added: “Sentosa Golf Club has always been deeply committed to supporting the wider Singaporean community, and we are honoured to mark the nation’s 60th anniversary by giving back through this special charitable initiative. It’s a meaningful way for us to celebrate Singapore’s journey while helping to shape its future.”
