off to a terrific start. Here’s a birdie putt at the fourth. He hit it to tap in distance at three. And here at four, wedged it past a hole. Big breaker to the right, but poured it right in the middle. So, a great start. Had a wedge shot in here just outside 11 ft. And that also went right in the middle. And then his second and nine from the rough. And the rough can be challenging here this week. The rough is challenging. These guys always have a shot, but it comes out hot and firm greens. But how about this control? He knew exactly where he had to land it for it to release like that. Up there close. Another birdie. Another birdie. Moved into 11 under par. He was starting to sniff the lead. Ben Griffin trying to create a little bit of distance. Here’s a birdie putt at the fourth. He missed a short one on the first hole, but not here at four. Good putt. That would get Ben to 15 under par. Back to Scotty. Drove it pretty close to the green. Had to play out to the left a little bit and he starts making these mid-range putts. The rest of these guys are in trouble. And he goes to 10th. Daniel, you used to have hair like this. Yeah. Well, nothing as luscious as that lion’s mane propping out of the baseball cap of Garrick Higgo. Man, he’s got it going. Three in a row now. A lot of momentum. And another man reaches 12 under bar. Not much, not much green to work with, boy. How good is that right there? That’s a risky play, too. That landed on the fringe. Really well done. Touch of class there. Very soft hands and just dumped it into the fringe. Really well done. Needs big spin. He’s trying to tumble down there. Yeah, there’s a lot of slope behind that hole location and he knew it. It’s coming. It just keeps trickling, doesn’t it? After another beautiful drive, Roger Ben Griffin. Eight iron from 163. Hold deep right just left to the hole here. like just back into the win with a full eight iron. It checked right up. He’s putting everybody on notice. Scotty has seven birdies today. He’s within two of the lead. What a roll from Ben. Another birdie. That’s number two on the front side. And the lead is now three once again. Ameliano Greo at 13. John 79 yards. I don’t know if he’s too close to put a lot of spin on this. Not going to be enough to come all the way back. He almost handcuffed himself a little bit getting it that close to the green. [Applause] There’s some slope right here. This could turn around and get pretty good. There we go. Thank you. Settle in on that flat spot. And he is landing on a down slope, Kurt. If he lands it short, that face wide open. Whoa. You don’t see that often. Wait, you think so? All of that work to get within three of the lead. And now Scotty’s going to give away at least one here. Oh, he barely breathed on it. Get in. Come back. Can you believe this? That will drop him back to 11 under par. Five shots behind Ben Griffin’s lead. Let’s see if Kovven can make his birdie putt at the 11th with the US Open winner watching. There you go. He’s got it turned around a little bit now. The amter got it going the right direction. The number one amer Jackson Kbin. Boy, this is good in the air. If it’s the right club and gets the right bounce. This was a moment ago. [Music] That is an excellent second shot. So Qual will have that for Eagle. It is a tough putt up and over. A little rise in that green and then it works away. Make the two up. Oh, I thought he was going to make that double up right away. He thought so, too. He’s one of the best on tour, if not the best in that bounceback stat. A well played hole and try to become that number one player and get their PGA Tour card. Should just pick up a little speed now. This has a chance. Is that a three? Yes, it is. Kya now leapfrog Scotty to get to 13 under par. And he now is the closest pursuer after Birdie and Eagle in the last two holes. All the credit in the world. He was two over early in this round. He never gave up, kept firing away and all of a sudden here he is in second place now. Par is a great score from here. [Music] Boy, this is aggressive. My goodness. Oh, how good is that shot? How good is that? That’s ridiculous. Yeah, he had to turn that over what, 20 yards. Garrick Higgo had to hit his third at the par five. 15th over the bunker. Got to put a little spin on it, which he did. That is really well done. Well thought out. Winner here two years ago. Got to get it up and over that ridge and then pile it on and let it go down. Saw him. What a way to finish. Brutal day 75, but that is a heck of a way to finish at the golf course where you won your first ever PGA Tour event. Kirk, potentially roll it up there. I don’t think you can stop it up there if you fly it. Just a little shelf and it is tough to get it on top of there and keep it. [Applause] That is such a good shot. And is coming back. What a T- shot from Sheffller. That from 130 up the hill into a breeze. Players can’t see any of this green. He was pretty decent line. Couldn’t tell if it hopped over or not. It’s It’s okay. It’s on the green. It’s not going to be the easiest putt to make. That’s not how they made the RDER Cup team. They are highly competitive. This guy wants to win this week. Never ever discount the competitiveness and the grind and grit of a player like Scotty Sheffller. Oh, what a putt. Jackson trying to prevent Scotty from getting into that final group on Sunday with what looks like it’ll be Ben Griffin. And now he gets back into solo second trying to work back to the right. That’s Green. He just carried it. He got a nice break there. icebreaker kept it out of the primary cut very low on a fantastic line. See if it goes all the way there. Needs a big bound forward. Yeah, little up slope right there. But that is exactly what I was just talking about from right there. Most of the players today have gotten that up and down for birdie. [Music] Good speed. Oh, it just ran out there at the end. Good luck putt though. A little bit easier to play tomorrow, meaning Sunday, with Justin Rose and not Scotty Shuffler. And then the following week at Caves Valley, Scotty got himself into that final group with Robert McIntyre and it ended up winning. So that’s going to be an easy four, easy birdie for Kven. Just playing a fantastic last 12, 13 holes. This was a moment ago. Garrick Higgo on the te at the par 317th. This might come back on. There’s some slope there we saw with Shepler. That is a tremendous shot as well. Vigo playing a really nice round of golf. He’s five under. Aggressive line and it pays off now. Kovven 15 under one back of the lead. Higo now for his two at 17. Yeah, boy. Great T- shot. Made it count with the putter. Now the third for Ben at the par 515th. Plenty of green to work with. Little uphill. He’s He’s got a little bit of a tester left there, but a good pitch. It’s his third birdie of the day. He’s now three underpar. No bogeies on the card. And the lead is back to two. Missed his spot. Hammered it. I don’t understand that at all. He had it back in his stance, Raj. He was trying to bump it into the hill and he pitched it too high. Misty spot on the side of the hill. Didn’t you guys say he hasn’t made a bogey this week? Yep. Or he made one? Nope. Zero. None. Well, it’d be strange to make one here. It’s online, but it’s not going to quite stretch. Now he’s hoping to make his only bogey of the week. So his only bogey through 54 holes comes at a par five. His last of the day and now the lead is just one with 18 holes remaining. The amer coven right behind Ben Griffin. Terrific crowds all week here at the Pro Court Championship. Ben Griffin after that 200 par 70 has that oneot lead over Jackson Kovven. There’s Scotty Sheffller, ever present on the first page of the leaderboard. He’s just two back. Thanks for watching the PGA Tour. To watch more, click here. To subscribe, click here.

  1. These guys are good, still a strong field when Sahith Theegala shoots 75 and 35-40 players pass him on the leaderboard. Beautiful venue

  2. Ben Griffin is an up and coming star, but Scottie is right there, and we all know, he knows how to get the W…:) My money (if I had any) is on Scottie to win this procore championship.
