The Race to Dubai is back and this week marks the return of the Rolex Series at the BMW PGA Championship, with an impressive international line-up made up of Major champions and upcoming Ryder Cup players. All seven players to have won the BMW PGA championship during the Rolex Series era are in action this week, including Shane Lowry, Ryan Fox, Francesco Molinari, Tyrrell Hatton, Danny Willet, Alex Noren, and Billy Horschel, who is back at Wentworth despite having hip surgery earlier this year. Horschel will be aiming to defend his title after last year in which he came out on top against Rory McIlroy and Thriston Lawrence in a dramatic final round and play-off. BMW PGA Championship debutant, Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen is one of the players to watch, with a course that could work in his favour, however with a career grand slam in his pocket, could McIlroy take it one step further this year and take the title?

Welcome to the Official YouTube channel of the DP World Tour. Every week you can find extended tournament highlights and individual player highlights from the likes of Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood. This is also the home of the 14 Club Challenge, Little Interviews, Fastest Hole and many more challenges, pranks and world record attempts featuring the biggest golfers in the world.

Seven iron launched high into the sky. Absolutely stick high. Birdie may be coming back his way. That was stunning. The effortlessness in that swing. Stunning straight in the middle. Michael gets the four. He did stay left. Just the right amount. Bit of spin. Helpful for Larry. Yeah, you’d love to get one close here. Oh, it’s lovely. Oh, it’s better than that. Superb. That’s a tough pin today. You got to carry the bunker. He’s gone straight over it. It’s a great shot. Did well to stay there, I have to be honest. But a great shot now. Early morning Sunday tea time. He starts right there. Oh, this is extraordinary. This is That’s like a tunnel. Oh, it’s right through it, too. What a golf shot. What a golf shot, Jamie. My goodness me. No, that was amazing. Shame has gone through the back, but what a golf shot. He got the ball first. He’s fairly accomplished. And he finds another birdie. Two cents the turn for Mroy. drifting right at the end which I didn’t see. He’s got it. A perfect way to start. Oh, a long one last night on the 18th for an eagle. Another good one at the first. Norin from the same bunker as Ry. He can slice under them. Bit of action on it. Oh, dancing. Dancing. That will certainly do the fandango that one. What a beauty. Stick high. Just a touch of left to right in the birdie putt. Little bit like yesterday. That’s three birdies in four holes to start the back nine. He double boged the knife. Does he like it? He sure does. Magnificent iron player. Sort of slightly levinoesque through the ball. Club looks down the line all the way through. Birdie number two for Victor Hoblin today. And he moves to the top on his own. [Laughter] You’ve been waiting all day for that radar, haven’t you? He was right though. He was right. The bar is raised. Radar at your second best call of the day. 6 iron 194 off a downs slope. It’s a big six, let me tell you. It’s on a banging line, but how’s it for length? Pretty good, I’d say. Radar, took off straight online according to Trackman. It’s dug its heels in a touch on the green now. Rory’s reached the 16th. What a he could put in a finish here. 343. Get him to nine under work here. And in the first part done at the 16th 129. Ohasi Italian is on the charge. 17 on just five from the right. So you got to be careful here. Don’t short side yourself. Tremendous. [Applause] Another guy on the charge. Oh, well done. Well done. As I said, he’s a real good player. This guy is talked about there with Tim. He has faded a last couple of weekends, but nonetheless, he’s having a really, really good season to the end of his round. This is where he made a double yesterday, don’t forget. But he’s got a birdie putt here today. Disappointing 17th. Ferguson do well to get down and two from here. Quite a swing from the left. How about one? [Applause] Well, what a tremendous puck that is. Really and truly, nothing went his way on the hole until that point. The first one came at nine. The fourth one in a row has come at 12. He’s playing for position down the hill here. This is probably the widest fairway on the golf course. That’s a real wide there from the Swede. Unbelievably Oberg’s ball has been Well, he finds himself on the bridge. No drop because that bridge is within the penalty area. So electing to play it I think straight into the heather. Wow. Highly unusual t-shirt. I mean it was really wild down there. It’s Maybe a good time to go last there. That’s more like it from Matiama. Heading in the right direction once again. They shot at 10 169. Well, it’s a lovely shot. He’s just had a terrific up and down at nine. It makes you feel good now. You’re not chasing it. Well, hopefully one of those pack right there and a good third D. What a body there at nine. Not an easy hole. Back into the breeze. There’s 11 birdies on it today. Up a 10 or just under 170. Bit of help. It’s maybe just a nine iron. Go. Got form around here. He’s moving very nicely through the gears. Just on top of the right lip and in she goes. Perfect. He gets into a little tie for second place and to Sadier. Ball above his feet at 11. Easy pin from that T-shot. That was a lovely shot as well. There’s the difference. A good lie. Nki can knock this one just out there right edge of the green and hope it releases up. Just like that. Beautifully done. I was about to say Dom, you know, it’s a part of the golf course. It’s just about consolidation, but you know, Mama just with that. Yep. Very nice. Nice break there for Matsuyama taking advantage of that one there. Back to back to minus 12. He’s pin tucked on 16. Oh, not for Harry. We’ve seen a number of shots like that. The guys are out early that have going pin hunting. Just the same club. Eight on. It’s not a big one with the wind at his back and raining heavy now. Good chance to make a two, but you’d expect him to send this deep into the green. We’ll get lucky like that. How’s your luck? There’s your luck. Sometimes you deserve a bit of luck. That was a lovely crisply struck iron. Had just enough spin to bring it down the hill. A huge divot comes flying out and he gets it all the way back on the shelf. And another chance for Alex Norin. Alex Noran has this part for three birdies in a row and to move to 12 under. Oh, just about right. He’s on a similar line. He does get the bounce. He gets the over bounce and a bit more on it, too. This is going to come down very nicely indeed. Justin will be really miffed now he’s seen that he’ll think why didn’t mine do that to move into a group at 11 under in a share of fourth place [Applause] impressive and down for a six. Does he skidd it in there? That’s what he’s planning. One skid, a little bit of grab and then release. Put him down for a six. An ugly one, but still nevertheless a six. Surging home former champion Hatton. Another one peppering the flag. That’s within his range. Birdie number five on the back. Great search forward by Torell Hat. Nice flowing practice swing for Sadier. Nice rhythm to his stroke at number 15. Down the little slope here into the gathering bowl. Oh, and it gathers up into the cup. What a bonus. And it was galloping away a little bit. Sets up square. Straight up and down. Distance control is pretty good. Even though the spin’s taken it some seven feet away, he’s got an uphill buck from that 64. It is Hatton hits the front. Seven under for his last 10 holes. Let’s go, Justin. Come on, son. Let’s go, mate. Superb. [Applause] It’s not overly quick with the rains that we’ve had. Just gently out of the left, but not a lot of break. What a beauty. Unexpected hold of that one, that’s for certain. Yeah, very good, good decision there from him. You can leave yourself a very difficult chip if you go for the green and miss it, particularly in the left hand side. He would have had no ankle for that pin. Yeah, brilliant. Great read. Great read from the the Frenchman. [Applause] Just trying to play a little releaser. Hard to get release out of the thick stuff with soft greens, but he’s done a mighty fine job of it. How’s that for touch? Please release me. Let me go. That released perfectly. Bit of a gouge. Queen sits above you. 13 under par. Nearly very easy birdie for the Frenchman. Just the one drop shot that came at the third hole today. Plenty of birdies on the card. [Applause] many feet. Wonderful. Once he’s over it, the ball’s very nearly on its way straight away. What a finish from Alex Nolan. He has gone birdie birdie eagle to close out for a round of 66. and Noran will go into the final day alongside Sadier at 15 under. Alex, thank you so much for joining us. 15 under par title for three rounds, 18 birdies and an eagle so far. What’s been the secret to making so many? Well, I I I don’t know. I mean, I hit some good iron shots. I think my iron’s been better than my wedges. And then and then pretty pretty good off the tea today and especially Thursday was great. And it’s uh you know with a lift clean in place it’s like it’s it’s really tricky if you’re in the rough. So it helps a lot to hit it a little bit straighter. So um but it it’s been a it’s been a wonderful three days. A lot of fun out there obviously chasing down Adrien Sier’s Clubhouse lead at 15 under. Finished birdie birdie eagle. Just how good was that feeling? Yeah, amazing. I mean it was a little I was a little bit angry after my kind of unforced bogey on 13 middle of the fairway kind of in between shot in between clubs. um and and tried to hit a hard nine and just duffed it and and then played better uh you know coming in and then and hold a long one on 16 and um you know when you get a little bit of fortune like that um it kind of makes 17 18 easier and you’ve told us in the past that playing with a chance to win a big championship on a Sunday is so exciting you love it so much just how excited therefore for tomorrow again you’ve won this championship before we’re shooting 62 in the final round It’s the flagship event. Just your thoughts on tomorrow. Yeah, it’s going to be so much fun. I’m I I love this and and going to to work a little bit with my coach now and and pick out a few shots that I didn’t feel comfortable over and and do some putting stuff and and just get prepared for tomorrow with a with a clear clear mind what to do. It’s so much fun. Yeah. We wish you luck tomorrow. Thank you. Thank you. [Music] To watch another DP World Tour video, click here. And to subscribe, click here.

  1. I think we can allow Rory one off weekend after last weeks stellar performance. The man will sort it out before the Ryder cup.

  2. If you listened to these biased commentators without looking at the score board you would think Rory is winning every tournament. You can't make this stuff up it's so annoying. Now I watch with my volume at 0…..

  3. I initially thought Hovland left his caddy hanging, then I realised he was holding an umbrella 😂

  4. One thing Sam Torrance and David Howell shouldn't have to do is keep apologising for Macintyre's foul mouth. He's the worst possible role-model for all the young golf fans there with their families.

  5. These foul mouthed chumps should be fined especially as there are youngsters in the crowds, disgusting.
I can't stand macintyre anyway, average golfer.

  6. Reed, Rai, Fitzpatrick, Richard all high on the leaderboard – not one shot shown in the edited highlights. McIlroy way down the field – all over the highlights.

  7. Highlights… yet very little from the the outright leader Hovland, mostly those trying to catch up. Guess the camera crew was on a different flight…

  8. It is nice to see Rory off one weekend after last week's stellar playing performance. The man will sort it out before the Ryder Cup.
