An American baseballer would not know how to deal with a proper cricket delivery, baseball is an old English children’s game called rounders. A cricket fast bowler would scare the fuck out of this yank if he had to take the crease. Typical Yankee bullshit. Their Nascar racing is the same, no actual cornering just one big left hander. I don't understand the need measure the two sports against each other. Compare them, sure, but why do we need to claim superiority of one over the other? (This American realizes if we're going purely by popularity of fanbase, baseball will never measure up to the immensity of India and the rest of the English Commonwealth.) Can't we just appreciate that they're each they're own unique thing with some interesting overlap? Can we delight in that, in fact? They're probably even of the same origin which makes it an even more interesting study in the divergence of cultural forms. Just appreciate without the need to rank.
