Testing the Titus Prov1, aka the most wanted golf ball out there, so I thought it’d be super sweet to throw it in my sweet spot checker. Now, this is the new 2023 ball. Every two years, Titalist puts out a new ball. They take their time with coming up with very new features to make these things completely different from the years prior. So, I’m super excited to get this thing in the tester and see where it goes. One of the main features with this is the new high energy core, which I will be taking a look at tomorrow when I cut it open. But, right now, I thought I’d put a sweet spot line on it and see what was the best spot to hit. Now, the big thing about this ball is also the outer shell is slightly different as it has a new kind of cast urethane cover, which I could fully feel when I grabbed this ball. It definitely feels a lot smoother and less sticky than any golf ball I felt out there. Sweet spot line came out to a pretty interesting area. Uh, it’s going to be right between the two logos. Really no markers. So, if you’re hitting this ball, best bet is to just not at all hit any of the logos. And when you’re lining up, obviously use the putting line that’s put on it. And fun fact, with Titus, you can actually tell what year they’re made based on the putting line. And stay tuned tomorrow.
