year took to her Instagram story to react to the death of the conservative influencer. Kirk, 
31, was shot and killed at an event in Utah on Wednesday afternoon. The Illinois native was 
speaking on campus at Utah Valley University. He was shot in the neck and rushed to the hospital 
where he ultimately died. President Donald J. Trump released a statement on his passing. 
The great and even legendary Charlie Kirk is dead. No one understood or had the heart of 
the youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by all, 
especially me, and now he is no longer with us. Melania and my sympathies go out to his beautiful 
wife Erica and family. Charlie, we love you. He wrote, “In honor of Charlie Kirk, a truly great 
American patriot, I am ordering all American flags throughout the United States lowered to half 
mass until Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. Kirk, who had millions of followers across YouTube 
and social media, was a close friend of the Trump family. Wednesday night, Kai Trump, who has

courage, and devoted his life to make an eternal impact.” Former NFL quarterback Brett 
Favre added, “I’m at a loss for words. Only thing I can think of is tragic. Please keep
