So, I get the lines on the grip here and the lines on the grip there. And I mark there just so the tape doesn’t go too far down. Then I pull the tape and get that just over the end. And then I get that just above where I want it. This goes on here up to that line. And I’ve got the same distance of tape on every grip. Comes off. Throw that in the top. And then plug the hole with my finger. Get the spray. Spray that on there. Spray that in there. Goes back up there. Get it especially on the end. Get that lined up again. Get that over the end. And bos you’re in. That end bit comes off. And then I like to dry this first. And I’m drying it this way so the juice doesn’t run down the shaft. And then to line the grip up, I want a nice straight edge. And that is wonky. So going to go around this way. Middle. Middle. And then I look down the grip and see where it curves down the grip there. Just to get this bit lined up. And then we have a nice line down there. Beautiful. Now do that with the rest.

  1. Your first step with the marker is a waste of time. All you need to do, put the grip down on the table and tear a piece of tape that's slightly longer than the grip. Then install the tape with a little bit more hanging over the end of the shaft. It's very easy to eyeball, you do not need to take that extra measurement step. Plus if you tear it a little too long, the extra just gets shoved down the shaft anyway
