I’ve been so impressed with how easy it is to set the pin position in a split second. Yeah, I mean it is dead on what the laser is telling me. So, we got front front end. What’s up, Amaze Fit Crew? I’m Gino Benelli, PGA Tour Caddy. I am out here today testing the Balance 2 GPS watch. Going to test its capabilities, play a little twoman scramble with my boy Max here. Have some fun and try to break 60 today. So, so good. Let’s put this thing to the test. [Music] Country Club hole number one. Let’s go. Hole number one. Here we got 375 front, 388 hole. The right side is a little bit baked out and it kicks out of bounds. What’s my swing thought here? Give me a coach. Well, with your partner being uh not in an ideal situation, let’s just uh hit a smooth one here. That’ll go that’ll cook. Setting the pin on this thing is super simple. Just a quick swipe right brings you up to the green and the just lets you hand position where the pin is. Uh whether you have a pin sheet or just kind of eyeballing it, either is fine. Uh we have 146 yds. That’s within a yard of the laser even. And uh just back out to golf and uh we’re ready to rock. Drop. Drop. Oh, you got a We need a lot of birdies coming up. That’s all right. Bad luck to birdie the first hole. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. For us to break 60, we need to make 13 birdies. We’ve got a reachable par five. It is a little bit on the longer side. Got to hit a good T- shot and a decent second shot. You know, we’ve got 204 front, which is there’s a bunker you can’t see. That’s that tree behind the green. You see a white stake and then the tree left of it. The darker one. Correct. There’s a bunker straight in front of that. It’s 204 cover that uh kicking that left. I do like that this 204 number. Okay. And it’s important that right on that tree is the center of the green. Yeah, we’ll take that. Yeah. Oh, I played it too high. Yeah, easy birdie. Easy bird. First birdie. Now we got to rattle off about 10 in a row. We’re fine. All right, Max. Uh, we do have another semi-short par4. There is a pond left of the green. So far, I’m really impressed with the speed in which you can set a pin. I simply swipe right. I can see that pin’s just a little bit back of center. And on the left side, I just move the dot over there. 112 yds. I verified it with the laser and it was 112 yd. So, Max did have a good one in the fairway back there, but probably had another like 35 yd. And we get it, dude. We understand. All right. No, just uh being able to hit a second shot close. 35 y is a significant distance when it’s you’re hitting a sand wedge versus a 9 iron. If it’s not buried, which you can see it’s not, um this isn’t too bad. And there’s not a lot of flat lies out here on this golf course. So when I’m asked to read a putt, I like to stand in it. Yeah. And my body just kind of goes to a place. More feel for you. Correct. I pulled it. So we’ve got our signature par three out here at those country club. It’s 145 yards. Plays downhill like 6ish. We’ll call it 140. Slightly downhill. I I’m with you. this. I do think it’s going to just fall a little bit left late. You like right edge. Right edge is exactly what I was going to say. Right edge is probably pretty darn close from here. Started out there. It’s breaking. Oh, let’s go. That turned more than I thought. Going to Let’s go. Nice. Pick it up. Let’s pick it up. That was a diving catch by the first baseman there. Check it out. This is my birdie caller. Oh, you just got to call the birds once you hit a birdie. That’s it. What a putt on the last hole. Thank you, dude. So, we got front front pin. Front pin 68 yards. Um, if you land this on it does try to kick away from you. If you can land this in the farthest 4 in of the fringe, that would be ideal. So, no uh no pressure. Say that. Say that differently. We got a 4 in window to land this in on the edge of the fringe in order to stop it. Okay. between the flag and the friend. Correct. Is that tree going to get in the way? No, I don’t think so. Oh, hey, Max. I didn’t uh I didn’t see it going upstairs so high. Nice shot, dude. I mean, that was first four 4 in of the boy. I was not looking at the the flop shot there. You got to have a little bit of fun with it. Well, all right. Let’s go upstairs then. That’s funny. When you hit yours, I’m like, “Oh, I I didn’t see yours.” Yeah. And you know that’s why I was like the tree patting that is one thing that uh you know the pros I see I may see one thing and boss might see something totally separate in a situation like that I’m like oh okay well how much of your job do you feel when you’re with pros is helping them validate for themselves a shot they already want to do even if you don’t agree with it internally you know I always feel like uh committing to the wrong shot is better than not committing to the right shot. Does that make sense? Yeah, it’s a great point. So, I might feel a way and but that I think is right and but if he doesn’t see it or believe it or trust it, is he going to make a swing and it’s going to be a result, right? And then blame you for it. Yes. Every time. Oh, just a little less speed. But that was that was nice. Good putt. I hit it hard, but I pulled it a little. Ball is uh off more on my right foot with a forearm. Weights forward and club face even a little bit closed. Set the pin right there and verify. Yeah, I mean I’m within a yard. That’s perfect. Yes, sir. Sit down. We’re not out here trying to break 60. We’re just having a good day. If we could shoot under par. Is that a joke? I’m seeing trees on the right. Yes. And they’re they’re harder to get around the trees on the left. Best drive of the day. Let’s go. Great shot. We need it. We need to come back. Come on. Let’s get one. Man, if you were allowed this on tour, would you use it? Oh my gosh. It’d be amazing. and you get one out in the trees somewhere and you don’t, it’s tough finding a sprinkler head. That’s where I feel like for 99% of golfers, like yes, the laser is awesome, but if I’m in the other fairway behind a tree, a laser is not going to help me at all. Like having that GPS is massive. It uh it is is very nice. And then, you know, you could if you’re out in the trees, you could laser the pin or something, but finding a bunker cover or, you know, it’s X to get past something. Having uh you know a full overhead view like this is great. I just want to play with it more and more. I’m looking a ball left of that grass is where I want to start this. Keep moving. Keep moving. Oh, I kind of like right at a nice putt. This is a series that you put on at night when right before you go to bed. I was going to say this will rock you right to sleep. This will rock you right to bed. A this might might actually get the most streams ever. This, you know, like a lot of I think Bob Ross back in the day. Oh yeah. Got crazy dreams cuz people Yeah. Just a happy little car. I’m going to see 11. Yeah. And I I got I got 109 from here. So numbers match and it plays down a few. I think I can handle it. I’ve missed shorter, my man. All right. Come on. We’re back. Hey, we’re back. Nice deuce. Hey, we’re back. Huh? There we go. Um, I see something driving in a little bit lower here that lands, you know, four short, kind of skips and stops. Okay. And just right of it. Are you taking a fully lofted club? Are you taking I am taking the taking the 60 like I told you earlier. It’s just the club that I like to hit. And uh I placed put this a little bit more on the back foot and kind of hit a drivey one in there. Looking to land this uh just right of the pin in the center of the green. And uh hopefully it’ll hop up and stop. Um that being said, it is about a foot above our feet. So how does that affect the ball flight for you? Um, it might come out and turn a little bit right to left, but it’s more of uh making sure it’s not fat more than anything. So, choking up, you know, I don’t normally take that much off of the club. Oh my god, I left it short. These next two holes, we’re going to strategize a little differently. I’m going to have you just hit one in flight. So, I’m going to have you play this one safe by hitting less than driver where it’s wide. Should put us around 100 out. And I’m going to get a little bit more aggressive. It’s more narrow. Brings penalty strokes into play, but uh I’m going to try to get one around the green. [Music] Pulled it. I pulled it. Does uh the balance do putt for you? Right. Oh, that’s as good as I can hit it. Go, baby. No, [Music] this Have you seen that golf family clip guy? This is fun. We’re having fun. Like cuz that pin is tucked. It is. I’m seeing 6277 to the bunker. I like it at that power box in the middle of everything behind. That’s your target. I love you. Figure out a putt. Um, yeah, we’re having fun. These guys are great. We got some trees in our way, so we got to get a little creative with this one. Kind of a high cut up there, but uh 211 to clear it. Yeah, that sounds perfect. So, this watch is uh this watch is right on the money. I could put it right into the trade, man. That seems high. Does it? Yes, it does. Oh, it got through. Great shot. I mean, come on. Go, baby. I think it’s going to be just short of the green, but that was a great shot. Nice work, my man. I You’ve got the wood there. And I’m like, please go higher. I thought I did not believe the uh the pro here could uh hit that over that tree, hit the tree, and still get it to the green. Drop. Let’s go. We made a putt, my man. How about a three, my man? Oh, it’s pure. And it’s cutting right at it. Talk to me. That’s got to be good. Go. Oh, it’s a little right. CK, but not bad. Get there. Oh, it’s way short. Hey, CK, whose ball is better? Yes. Damn it. Huh? You can’t miss. Yes, you can. I feel like we could just fly it right next to the hole and have it stop. It’s there. You guys are going to like this one. Come on, baby. All right. So, Gino Gino special here. Make it smaller. There you go. How about it? Let’s go. Let’s go. Nicely done. Oh, I got to get a little more pressure. I like that. So fun. What do you think you’re most looking forward to for the next like phase of your career? I think I’m really good at my job. I think proving that not only to myself, but to everyone else as well. Finding being with Joel for so long was was awesome. and finding somebody who uh has another 10 plus years in them. I’ I’d love a longterm relationship that, you know, maybe work with a young guy to develop and become one of the best in the world. Yeah. Um that excites me. So that’s the goal right now. And Joel’s awesome. And Joel’s got a few more years of really high level golf right in front of him. Yeah. So I’m excited for him, too. I think he’s going to do great. Thanks, [Music] Easy par. All right, Max. So, 18 here. Little scotchy club. We’ve got uh 490 hole. Uh T-shot’s a little bit tricky. Everything slopes hard from left to right. The water is in play. It needs to land left of the telephone poles to avoid water cuz we’re two 211 to the water. Correct. That’s at the closest point. That would be over here by this uh the water pump that you see behind the shed. The farther left you hit it, the farther it will go cuz it’s dried out and hard pan. Mhm. But you’re landing it right on the OB line, which is really scary. So almost between those two buildings in the distance. Yeah, that would be your left boundary. I like it in the middle of the right one. [Music] and did the same thing you did. I mean, that was a great metaphor for our day. Can I be honest with you? I don’t think I would end it any other way. That was a perfect ending. I don’t think we could end it any other way. Mediocre day. Thank you very much. Oh, we got to take the hat off. We’re just going to do the uh Hey, pleasure being with you. Thank you very much. Appreciate it all. What can we say emphatically that the balance 2 is tour tour caddy approved? Um that was uh that was a great product. I honestly enjoyed using it is something that uh never inter I always I don’t play in a watch because well I’ve never had one that didn’t feel like was in my way. This isn’t in their way. It was beneficial to have. It’s quick easy to use. I my favorite feature of the whole thing was setting the pin position. Quick and easy and how accurate it was. Top notch. There it is. You heard it here first. 66. Yeah. 66. Had a wonderful day out here at the Louiswis and Golf and Country Club. Testing the Amaze Fit Balance 2 watch. Trying to break 60. Little bit short with a 66 today. If we can only get some putts to fall. But uh as far as a wearable golf GPS watch goes, this thing was great. It was comfortable. It was accurate. is everything I was looking for in a wearable. And uh if you’re in the market, go check one out. And I can emphatically say this is Tour Caddy approved. [Music]
