Sentosa unveils Asia’s first Trackman-powered grass range
Global Edition
Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore has become the first club in Asia to install Trackman technology on an all-grass driving range.
The introduction of the cutting-edge technology will provide a world-class training experience for members and guests, with Trackman’s advanced radar platform giving golfers instant access to ball flight and club data, in-depth performance analysis, and interactive practice modes.
Andy Johnston, General Manager at Sentosa Golf Club, commented: “The installation of Trackman to the range marks a significant milestone for golf in Asia. By uniting the world’s most advanced technology with the premium feel of club on turf, we are delivering an experience that is both world-class and accessible to all golfers.”
Among the first to have the opportunity to try out the enhanced facilities will be those playing in the SG60 Charity Golf Day on September 12, which coincides with the launch. Celebrating the 60th anniversary of Singapore’s independence, all proceeds from the day will support community and youth development initiatives nationwide.
Johnston added: “Sentosa Golf Club has always been deeply committed to supporting the wider Singaporean community, and we are honoured to mark the nation’s 60th anniversary by giving back through this special charitable initiative. It’s a meaningful way for us to celebrate Singapore’s journey while helping to shape its future.”
