The 70s decade of Suva Grammar School made the most of their reunion tonight, celebrating with music and memories alongside friends at the Golf Club in Rifle Range.

While speaking to fijivillage News, 64-year-old Veniana Raiyawa says she attended Grammar from 1975 to 1978.

Raiyawa says for their generation, they have more years behind them than ahead, so they need to enjoy every moment.

She says the fact that they are able to celebrate Grammar’s 65 years of existence together with students and even some teachers, is wonderful.

Meanwhile, Joweli Ravualala, who travelled from Sydney, Australia, says he loves attending Grammar reunions, but the sad part is that every year someone is missing.

Ravualala says for him, it is all about the party and excitement.

The 70-year-old adds that Grammar taught him to speak confidently and has produced students excelling in music, dance, and the fashion industry.
