My name is Erich and I live in Italy welcome to my channel. I used to play golf on and off for many years, but I started my journey again about 8 years ago, changing my swing completely.

My goal is to become a single figure handicap golfer in the near future.

All right, guys. So, welcome back to another video. So, today I’m going to be doing a comparison video between the original Fjoy Traditions golf shoes, uh, which cost about $120. And to my right, I have a brand new pair from Timu, which is a basically a copy of these ones right here, which cost around $35. So, I’m going to compare them, and I’m going to let you know whether these are actually worth it or not. So, stay tuned for the video. So, this is what you get in the mail. There’s no box or anything like that. So, let’s open it up and let’s have a look. They each come on a individual wrapper here. And they have a little um one of these things right here. So, first impressions. I mean, I don’t know. It looks great, guys. It looks great. Uh I seen the pictures on the website before I order them and they look fantastic. So that’s the reason why I decided to order. So I don’t know guys if this is going to be something that is going to last or not. But so far first impressions are great. Let’s have a quick look. And just like you see on the website, they’re they look great. Um I’m sure it’s not real leather, but they do look great. And it actually has a little brand only for best golf shoes. So they do have a brand and then here it says made in China. Uh I’m going to compare right quick to the Foot Joy. Obviously this is very old now. So maybe it’s not a fair comparison, but I’m just going to have a quick look and see uh side by side. So it looks pretty good. It’s not um Wow. Actually, it is not bad at all. Um, I like the inside here. It looks very mushy right here. The laces, I think, uh, this are better. The Foot Joy laces, I prefer them. They look a little a little better, better quality, I think. Uh, the stitching around the top, it looks pretty good. Actually, this one has double stitching right here compared to this one. the material. I think this is not leather either, but it feels pretty good. [Music] Yeah, they feel great. I would say uh just a little this are nine and sorry, this are Yeah. And EU is 43 and I think they’re just slightly bigger. I would say half a size less it will be perfect. The same deal with the Food Joy. Uh if you order the Fujo Joy, you have to get half side less. And with the Fujo Joy, actually it was just a little bit bigger. Uh but I wore them. I don’t mind him. I don’t mind him. Uh I like to wear them just little half size bigger rather than being really really tight. But [Music] so I took a few swings. Feels pretty good. Uh very comfortable actually. I would say maybe. Yeah. If you’re getting this, make sure to get half size less. Uh I do prefer them like this. A little just a little bigger. For some reason, when it’s really tight, I feel I start getting blisters and I don’t feel comfortable because I like to walk on the core. So, I like to be a little loose. Uh but that’s just my prefer my personal preference. So, if you’re getting this, make sure to get half size uh smaller. One more thing that I want to mention, uh Foot Joy is not the only ones that make this type of shoes, obviously. So, I did call it a copy, but there are actually many other uh manufacturers uh that have about the same design, you know, the traditional design golf shoe. So, I wouldn’t call it like a fake of the foot joy. I would just call it like the budget version uh from China, from Timu. Uh there’s uh Echko makes them. They look just about the same. Uh Audi does make some something similar and there’s v various other manufacturers that make um similar products as to the traditional golf shoes. All right, so I’m going to play a few holes on the simulator and then come back to you and give you my feedback. All right, so let’s play a few holes. Uh that way I let you know how they feel on the mat here. Um this is a par4. Let’s see. Get a good drive. First drive of the day. [Music] All right, let’s see. Not bad. Straight down the fairway. A little bit low, but pretty good, I would say. Left me 114. Um, yeah, not the greatest swing. 114. Let’s try the the 50° wedge here. So, yeah, I feel pretty good actually. I like the way they they feel the u the fit is pretty good. All right, so 114. Let’s see if we can get a first birdie. 50°ree wedge. All right, let’s see. It’s going to get there. Oh, get there. Get there. Wow, that’s pretty good. We can get our first birdie. 3 ft. Um I got a set for um 10 ft birdies. So let’s go to the next hole really quick. It’s a uh par4 longer par4 uphill 387 but it’s uphill. So let’s get a better drive here. All right. So far, shoes are good. Are good. Okay. Got to get a little more distance here. Oh man, that felt pretty good. It’s leaking a little bit, I think. Yeah, that was pretty good. Just a little to the right. Uh, it’s going to leave me 153. So, it’s going to be an eight iron. 147 ball speed 101. So yeah, so you can get good swing speed with these shoes. Um, again, they feel just a little big, but I like them. That’s how I like them. All right, let’s test the three iron here. It’s 198 uphill, so I think it’s playing like 210 maybe. Um, let’s hit a a three iron here. Let’s hit a hard one and get there. Um, all right. All right. Not bad. Turn a little. Turn a little. Oh, yeah. That’s pretty good, actually. Very, very good. Wow. I don’t know if it’s the shoes, but that’s uh 3 feet. So, that’s an automatic birdie there. So, these are the spikeless version. So, they have they don’t have the cleats, but they have the soft spikes like this, which is not bad. Um, not sure how long they will last. Uh, now this material right here, it feels about the same as this one right here. Just I would say this is a little lighter, little softer. This is a little harder maybe. Probably because it’s brand new. All right, guys. So, that was it for the review. Uh, the shoes feel pretty good. I would say they’re very comfortable. Obviously, they’re not Foot Joy and but right now, I can’t really tell the difference. I can’t say that the Foot Joy feel better. Obviously, uh these are brand new. Uh it feel great. I mean, they don’t they don’t feel bad at all. They do have a brand. Uh I wouldn’t necessarily say that they’re a copy of the Foot Joy. The reason I got them is because I saw them and I really love the design of these shoes right here. Very similar to the Foot Joy, I understand, but they’re not exactly the same. Um, now I can guarantee you that after a first or second round, maybe something, you know, the the sole starts coming apart or starts breaking, you know, $35, that’s my loss. I just wanted to review the shoes right here and just give you a feedback on them. Uh, but I what I will do, I will play a few rounds and I will probably make another video on it. But so far, u, I play nine holes and the traction is pretty good. Uh the size obviously remember to get half a size less. Uh this is my per personal preference. So I do like them just a little bigger because I do walk a lot on the course. Uh they feel similar to the foot joints because they’re wide. So it feels really uh comfortable. I would say I don’t like really tight shoes when I play golf. Uh some people may do like that. So if you like really tight shoes, then you probably don’t want to get these ones right here. These are really comfortable. That’s why I like them. Uh, they have good traction. I can feel, you know, when you do the swing, it it starts to turn over. So, there’s a lot of pressure in here. We’ll see how it um how it handles maybe a couple of rounds. And I will make another video after probably after after I play two, three rounds if they last that long. But guys, uh just a quick video on on the comparison with the Food Joy. I’m not trying to maybe persuade you to buy this kind of products, obviously. Uh this is just my honest review. I just uh like the design and actually I was gonna buy the Food Joy uh Spikeless. Um I like that that model which is it was a good sale for like $70, but then I saw this ones and I kind of like prefer this design right here. So guys, I hope you enjoyed the video.
