Boy, does it feel good to be back at Truis Park after a 10game road trip. The Bravos back home to take on the Mariners. And guess what? There’s some new faces. It’s going to be a good matchup tonight. A Friday night at Truis Park. Mariners, Braves, and your Braves are on gray. After a grinding road trip, the Braves return home looking to reset and refocus. Standing in the way is the Seattle Mariners. But it’s a beautiful Friday night to be at the ballpark. We are excited for this matchup. Fans are going to pack the energy because it’s going to be a fun night at Truis because it is grunge night. Welcome into Live from the Chop. Bailey Burmaster alongside Charlie Coerson. I am very thankful that you are such a great co-host because I thought I was going to be hanging in my grunge fit alone, but you showed up tonight. Am I grungy enough? I think so. You got the black, the nirvana. I was kind of all black tonight. Didn’t really plan that. It just worked out that way, you know. And I brought the cheetah pants, so we’re ready to go. We’re going to see who else has flannels around here. We’re going to see what we can find on grudge night because it’s going to be fun. But Charlie, talk to me what you’ve seen from the Braves since the last time we’ve been away from our Braves on Gray family. Yeah, it’s been a while. Um, I feel like it’s still losing a lot of the one-run games, but we have seen a lot of production, too. Jerks and ProFar has has stepped up huge for this team, uh, in that leadoff spot. Now, we got a rookie of the year race. Drake Baldwin has been kind of the front runner, and it’s always great to see him do so well, but I feel like he’s going to win the rookie of the year. Now, we got a new shortstop. Um, we got Hen Walter and throwing lights out, looking like an ace. Um, a lot of good things even though the winning the record isn’t there. Um, but a lot of positives looking forward. Yeah, the bats certainly heating up and you mentioned the shortstop Hassan Kim who has just been lights out. He’s only played in what, two games at this point, but boy has he made an impact. What have you seen from him immediately with the Braves? Well, with him and that shoulder injury, I know he hasn’t played a lot this year. Um, an exciting player. I feel like Braves fans probably haven’t heard a lot about him since he’s been more on the West Coast and been with the Rays this year, formerly with the Padres’s, but a guy that’s been productive in his in his early career. You know, a home run right here, a big home run and a big moment for the team. We haven’t seen many of those from our shorts stops recently. Um, but he’s not a huge guy, but a guy that can provide power at the plate. Really good at bats, very good defender. Um he’s played more games at second base, but he can definitely hold his own at shortstop. Yeah, first shortstop to have a home run this season for the Braves. Did it in his second game. He’s also, you know, he’s been battling that injury. Had the shoulder, had the back, but he’s ready for a fresh start. What do you see from his stats here? Cuz remember, he’s only played in 26 games, right? Well, I mean, the stats aren’t really huge. They don’t really pop off the board. Um, if you look at numbers, his OPS plus is 97 uh for his career. So, it’s just 3% below league average. Uh, but he’s been on very good teams. He knows how to win as well. He knows how to put together good at bat and he’s a very good defender. I said that he’s played the most games at second, but he’s played the most at short, so he has a lot of uh time at shortstop. He knows how to play that position and other positions as well. Former Gold Glove winner, utility gold glove winner in 2023. So, a very good player, very versatile player. Um, I think he’s excited to be on a team that is looking to have him be the shortstop, not just for this month, but for next next year as well. It’s certainly a trial run. Manager Brian Snicker said they’re going to play him at shortstop as much as he can take. If he needs to take a day off because of injuries, maybe reflaring up, they’ll do that, but they want to see him as much as possible to see because he has that player option for next year. Uh, but it’s interesting because his lockers next to Jerks and Proofar, they played together in San Diego. So, we got to talk to them earlier today about their connection and they basically called each other family and they actually communicate in Spanish. How nice is it to have a guy that you’re so familiar with and can call family in the clubhouse when you’re making a transition, especially this late in the season? Yeah, I mean that’s huge, Bailey. I mean, to be able to come to a a team again, they are family. They’re with their teammates more than they are with their actual family. So, being able to to make that connection with somebody that they’ve already played with, they’ve already been around, that’s huge. I’m sure Alex Anthopoulos, he’s been known to talk to players about certain other players that he’s looking to maybe bring in and I’m sure he did that with Jerken. Jerken probably put in a few good words about House Kim and here he is. I know that they tried to get him early, maybe even last off season. Um, but I think he’s a great addition and that’s a very good clubhouse uh to be in. So, I think it’s I think it’s going to look really good for the Braves and for Kim. September is fan appreciation month at Truis Park. Let’s join the third member of our team, Paul Bird, who has some goodies for fans and what they can look forward to this month. What’s up everybody? Paul Bird rolling into September here at Truis fan appreciation month. Jory Palmer, Braves director of marketing. You got some incredible stuff here out on the table. Walk me through it. Yes. So, it is fan appreciation month, Paul. We came up with a bunch of ideas to show our fans how much they mean to us. So, let’s start with tonight because it is grunge night and flannel fest. But apparently they’re there. They are. It took her half a second to come up with it. Guys, back to you. I agree with you. Pearl Jam is a grunge band. What are you looking forward to the most out of all those bobbleheads? You had the bucket hats for Harry Potter night. Which one you want? I think the cleat. Um, what is it? Mug, beer mug, whatever it is. It’s not a beer mug in the in the dugout. I think that’s pretty cool. I think that’s pretty awesome. Uh, I’m a bobblehead guy, though. I love collecting bobbleheads. I have a lot at home, and so I’m I might try to snack some bobblehead. Favorite bobblehead yet? Uh, Swamperson. There you go. I actually have a Patrick Mahomes bobblehead from when he was drafted that I like. Uh, I think I have a Vince Skully one that’s pretty cool. Um, I got the Usher one they had. I don’t I don’t have that. I like the Outcast though in the car. I love that. I got two of them. Oh, you greedy. Share one. Yeah, well I share one with Ace. He’s got one. We’re going to have it next for you coming up. There we go. Now I can hear. Yeah. No, that’s good. Yeah. Thank you. Can you hear me? Okay. Yeah, I can. Charlie, can you hear me? Y I love I love the the new look of the logos flipped over. It’s kind of cool. Yeah, that’s great. That’s great. A town down. Yes, I can hear you. Absolutely. Happy to be here. I’ll intro him and then you can I got it. Do your thing. I got all the tough ones. Do your thing. Uh golf lessons. I I keep those on me all the time. But um no, apparently I have a ton of stuff in my pockets I’m having right now. But no golf balls. No golf balls. Sorry. Yeah. Dang it. I should have brought a golf ball. You usually come prepared. You’re kind of slacking today. What’s going on? I’ll tell you what, I sent Chris a video. I I took Ace to have a golf lesson today right before I came. So, dress in the golf clothes and then went home, changed, and forgot. That’s been our deal over the year, though. I I give Charlie golf balls and he gives me baseballs. Yeah. Luckily, I don’t I don’t play enough or I’d lose all of them. All of them. Okay. Six minutes. Um Baileyy’s worked the masters the last few years. Three years. Very cool. A lot of fun. That place September rolls on at the ballpark. It’s the best time of year. The weather’s ideal. Drew is packed with the fans as they gear up for this matchup between the Mariners and Braves. It’s sure to be a packed house and a fun time for grunge night. Welcome back into Live from the Chop. Bailey Burmaster joined by Charlie Coerson and our special guest for this block, Chris Kirk. Thank you for joining us today. Absolutely. Happy to be first time PGA winner, 48 Atlanta native. Win to Georgia. I mean, you’re just a Georgia boy at heart, aren’t you? Absolutely. Yeah, I’ve lived in the state of Georgia since I was four years old, I think. And uh yeah, I don’t see myself ever leaving. I thought it was fun. I had a chance to meet Chris back in 2018 in spring training. He’s friends with Terry Mcgherk. They do a member guest at Simol, the uh pro member at Simol every pro member. That’s right. Every February. And then he came came uh to the clubhouse in Florida. So we had some mutual friends before. And then his wife Tonnie, they both went to Georgia and one of her sorority sisters, Abby. Yep. Was friend best friends with my wife. So that’s kind of how we met and then we became friends. Um unfortunately he’s had to watch me play two rounds of golf. Uh, one funny story, we were at Isle Worth and it was March 1st, uh, 2023, just three days after Chris won his fifth, uh, PGA event, the Honda Classic. I thought it was pretty awesome. Chris wins. Okay. And then two days later, I’m with the Rays in spring training. He comes out uh, to watch us uh, take batting practice and ground balls and stuff, maybe stay for a little bit of the game. And it was just interesting because Chris was like, it’s amazing coming from a pro golfer. At one time you were the 16th ranked player in the world. For me that’s insane. Yeah. I mean to be that good. Like I was never the 16th ranked baseball player. Yeah. Um but he was saying how awesome it was to see us just take a round of infield. And it’s the same thing for a baseball player being able to go and watch these guys just hit off the range. Yeah. Um but we had a chance to play at Iowa Worth and I hit one probably 50 or 60 yards right. It was probably further than that. And Chris drives me over to the ball. Yeah. And I said something to him. He’s like, “I don’t think I got that shot in my bag.” I said, “I’m glad you don’t.” I’m glad you don’t. Chris, how long have you been a Braves fan? Tell me about where when your fandom started with those young childhood memories you remember and how you’re still here now. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, I’ve I’ve been a Braves fan since birth. You know, my dad is an Atlanta native and and he was at the game when Hank Garren broke the record and we I remember as a kid driving uh downtown when uh Fulton County Stadium was imploded and we we watched that and you know we went to Olympics stuff at at uh at Turnerfield and and then now here at Truist and so yeah, I mean the Braves have been a been a part of my life since I can remember, you know, watching every single night and we all had our rally caps and whatever it was and and So that’s just that’s continued and and now there’s a a handful of us that are that are pretty diehard Braves fans on the PGA tour and uh so we all kind of keep track of it and and everybody knows that I’m I’m kind of the guy to to come to to if there for anybody that has questions or needs the inside scoop. Yeah. How much are you able to tune in during during the time when you’re on the tour? Because I’m sure you’re super busy, but they do have a lot of games. So are you able to switch over the TV anytime? Yeah, absolutely. you know, as long as it’s a night game, you know, we’re we’re uh we’re done, you know, we’re done with our day and and uh we I rent houses with the with some other guys on the tour and and so that’s our our night times a lot of the time is just sitting around watching Braves games and and talking and uh yeah, just just hanging out, enjoying the enjoying the games. Well, it’s a good way to get away from the game, too, right? I mean, even when things are great with you on the course, you got to check out. Got to be kind of normal again. And so you talked about being able to rent homes um on the road during the season with some of your best friends on tour. Even though you’re competing with them um the next day or that weekend, it’s kind of cool for you guys just to kind of be normal. You say you play some card games and and then turn on the Atlanta Braves. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It’s nice. You know, it can be being an individual sport. It can it can be lonely for sure if if you let it. And uh so I I’m very fortunate to have a good many former UG players and and other guys that we’ve all just become really close and and been able to do that where we we all stay together and and yeah, it just makes quality of life so much better. And you know, you you go shoot 75 and go sit in your hotel room by yourself. That ain’t a whole lot of fun. But um you know, when you’re when you’re there out there with your buddies, it it makes it a lot easier to kind of get over your day, whether it was good or bad, and and just move on and and uh relax. I I shoot 75 and celebrate with everyone. But I get it. I get it. Uh Chris, we had talked about recently about you as a pro golfer and the mental aspect of it too. You’re kind of out there on your own or with your caddy Michael Chromy. Um comparing comparing that to golf or to baseball, you said that a pitcher’s mindset is kind of how you compare golf, right? Your mindset. Absolutely. Um, you know, hitting is in baseball is so reactionary and obviously you have to have your approach, your mental game has to be great, but um, I’ve always seen such an alignment between pitching and and golf. You know, the the ball is there waiting for you to do something with it. you know, you are dictating play and you’re doing the best you can to to make the right decision on what pitch or what shot you want to hit and you try to execute that to the best of your ability and the results are largely out of your control. Um, so yeah, I’ve always seen a ton of parallels there and and um, yeah, it was actually an article that I read about Kyle Wright and that was what what eventually led me to start working with Zack Sorenson, who’s uh, he’s with the Cincinnati Reds now, but um, was with the Atlanta Braves, their mental coach um, at the time when he and I started working together. Um, so yeah, it’s, you know, it’s a, a very interesting parallel and, uh, I’ve gotten to know Kyle since then as well and and we kind of bounce ideas off each other a little bit sometimes and and so it’s really cool seeing how, you know, obviously the sports are very different, but what it takes inside your mind to to really execute and compete at the highest level is not that different. I see you have your kids here. What’s it like to share your Braves fandom with them? Uh, it’s been it’s been amazing. you know, we’re we’re a baseball family for sure and and uh you know, so coming to Braves games and watching Braves games and my boys playing baseball and and some golf, too, of course. Um yeah, it’s it’s been fantastic, you know, so it’s just it’s really cool for me to see kind of my, you know, I’m the middle of three boys and we grew up watching the Braves every night and and just loved it and so I’m kind of getting to see my my childhood all over again with my three boys and and uh yeah, couldn’t be better. Chris, thank you so much for joining us here on Live from the Chop. We’re glad to have you. Absolutely. Thanks. Stick with us. We’re going to have a lot more coming up on the other side. This man’s going to be back on the mounds tonight. It’s good to see Chris Sale back in action and bringing a little bit of a spark back to the Brave. Stick with us. We have more coming up next. This copyrighted telecast is presented by authority of the Atlanta Braves and may not be reproduced or retransmitted in any form and the accounts and descriptions of this game may not be disseminated without the express written consent of the Atlanta Braves. Back at Truis Park for grunge night. Everyone in their flannels, ripped jeans. I got my cam camp combat boots with some spikes on. What do you think they’re singing? They have to sing Nirvana. Can you give us a little tune, Charlie? Oh, no. Please don’t ask me. No, you can’t. You’re a big fan. I do like uh I like the Nirvana shirt. I’m more of a Pearl Gem guy. Like easy flow. You’re not going to give me anything? I wish I could. I wish I could. I just can’t sing. I’m not going to do it. Welcome back to No, I cannot sing. Welcome back to Live from the Chop Bailey Baster Charlie Coerson and we have some goodies here because it is grunge night. So we have the flannel dog. This is all beef frank with cream cheese smear, bacon bites, caramelized onions, a little jalapeno relish. I mean on a toasted bun. Charlie, do you want to do the honors? Okay, since you said that, I’m going to let I’m going to give you a playbyplay of Charlie eating this dog and then I’m going to take a drink. This is the second time I’ve eaten hot dogs on here. All right, listen. We’re just trying to be consistent with our content. Okay, good bite. Everyone knows the rules. One bite. Okay. Oh, okay. We We have some feelings. Okay. He’s giving it a thumbs up. We’ll let him We’ll let him a 10. Really? Yep. There you go. Talked about the cream cheese. The cream cheese makes it. I’ve never had cream cheese on a hot dog. Okay. Cream cheese on a hot dog from now on. We then have the Smells Like Team Spirit cocktail vodka based. Um I’m going to dabble. Cheers. Cheers. Cheers. A little sip. Oh, you’re going to dabble. Not me. You’re just being greedy. Oh, that’s good. That’s refreshing. I’m not sure if I’m drinking the whole thing now. I’m not sure if there’s any vodka. I’m okay with that. I don’t not a big drinker, but I’m going to go for the dog now because I mean, these are the perks of being a host. I can eat the dog. Well, tell me what you think. It is really good though. Caramelized onions, bacon, jalapeno relish. I mean, I’m I’m all in. And the cream cheese, right? Wait, you okay? I inhald one of the jalapenos. Oh, wonderful. Want to medic EMT somewhere? Um, are you okay? No, that’s great. That’s really good. Fantastic. You need a drink. You need to wash it down. Wash it down. Can’t finish the show. Um, I guess I guess everyone needs to try one of these, right? No, I I would highly suggest these. Everyone should get these. Just don’t inhale the jalapeno or don’t like host a show while eating. But you know, sometimes we we we want to do the best show, and that’s what gives you the best show. You know what else is great about this show? We get to talk about some young death talent. Yeah. And they’re heating up. So, let’s go down on the farm. Brought to you by Georgia Grown, Garrett Balman, starting pitcher, high A in Rome. He’s really been high prospect for the Braves, Charlie, and he’s been killing it. Yeah, Garrett Balman, uh, very young. He’s not a small guy. 6’8, 245 pounds. cuz I saw him in spring training last year and I was looking up obviously. Um, but he’s for being such a big frame, a big guy out there, sometimes it’s really hard for guys to be strike throwers. Garrett’s done a very good job of being able to keep the ball in the zone and keep the ball in the park as well. And I think the future is really bright uh for Garrett Bman hopefully here and staying here in the Atlanta Braves organization. He he’s really found a lot of consistency in his last three starts and uh if he can find a way to keep that going this 68 right he’s going to bring a lot hopefully into this season. Uh any other young guns you’re paying attention to? Well not I mean I guess he’s still young. He’s a lot younger than me. But I like Hayden Harris. Hayden Harris is an Augusta Georgia boy. Um I had a chance to play with him. I love that he has a chance to pitch here. I’m loving Hayden Harris here in the We’ll see what they’re all able to do. Stick with us on Live from the Chop. We have a lot more coming your way. We have a special guest joining us next. And these guys are getting ready to take on the Mariners for game one. It’s a Friday night. The bats are getting hot. We’re going to have some more fun on the other side of the break. Are you allowed to eat this? I don’t want to. Well, not after me, at least. Do you want me to take that? I had her save mine. I’m going to eat it after the show. Okay, that sounds good. And then it was amazing. It makes the dog. Honestly, this feels so weird. I’ve been watching you guys talk for like the last 30 minutes, not hearing a word. You’re like, “What’s going on?” And now it’s just crystal clear. Did you see me? How’s the hot dog? No. Did I get to the camera? I tried to, but then I started choking. It’s kind of weird though if you’re like looking at the camera and eating a hot dog. Sometimes Phil. Yeah, I can barely hear you. It’s hot in here today. Yeah. Can Can you feel the cold air over there? Okay, bump in. Cool. Thank you. Were those your boys? So that’s my son, Ace on the right. That’s his good That’s his uh one of his best friends. I have two We have two daughters as well. Oh, nice. Um yeah, that’s Ace. Ace. I love it. He’s almost 10. What’s up, Ace? Ace. And then his friend Asher. Asher. I hear you, buddy. Hey. Yeah, this is great. Oh, for Phil or for everybody else? Hey, Phil. Everybody else is fine. Feel Yeah. Yeah. It feels great. Yeah. Perfect. Yeah. Thank you. Your what? I couldn’t hear them. Great. There we go. I forgot I had red lipstick on. Okay. Cool. Thank you. That’s okay. I trust you. Come. Woo. ANF game time and over. You got You got to get the ruler out. Just me hanging with all the boys. I’m with the boys. How’s Yeah. Uh, how’s that show going? Uh, good. Just one, right? So, yeah, just did one. Just one. Just one. Number two coming this weekend. That’s it. You got the golf cart locked and loaded. Trying. Um, I need you to secure that. Well, Julio, it’s actually not. It was Julio was filling in for his son this time. So, we got we got to get the Julio son. September baseball is back. Game one against the Seattle Mariners. The Braves gearing up for the matchup. coming back from a 10game road trip and old faces and new faces looking to get into the action. Chris Sail going up against Logan Logan Gilbert tonight. It’s going to be a fun time. Welcome back into Live from the Chop. I’m Bailey Burmaster joined by Charlie Coerson and we have another guest you’re going to know his face Jake from. Former Georgia quarterback, my co-host for our game time and overtime show. 35 and seven as a starter. But before that, you were pretty good at baseball. I was I was decent. I was just okay. Uh had a decent arm. Uh I was kind of big, you know, I kind of hitting the the cleanup hole there. And um yeah, man, I enjoyed it. I thought I was going to be a baseball player growing up. It was super super super fun. And got to high school, play a little Friday Night Lights, and kind of football took over from there. And what was it about football that just gave you that urge a little bit more than baseball? Yeah, I think throwing touchdowns was awesome. Now, let me Hey, let me tell you now. There is nothing I think cooler than hitting like a big time moment home run. Everybody gets quiet, sees the ball go over the fence, and then jogging around, you know, your 30 seconds around the bases is pretty cool. But I’ve never done what you’ve done. I I played football up until I was uh 13 years old. I loved it. I stayed small, though, and everyone else got really big and so I kind of like went the other way. But it’s pretty awesome to have seen your career. Thanks. And what you’ve been able to do in football. So yeah, but yes, you were Little League World Series, too. And a lot of kids dream of doing that. and you only get really a couple shots. So, yeah, coming out of Warner Robbins, the the little league is like a huge deal. Like so big they even put the regional tournament in Warner Robbins. Uh Warner Robbins had a 07 team, an ‘ 09 team, and a 2011 team. So, we were 2011. We didn’t we weren’t near as good as the ’09 and the ’07 team. 07 team for Warner Robbins actually won it. So, um but yeah, man, that was a joy. That was such a cool experience for me and obviously the kids I grew up with as well. Um, man, you know, you don’t get to play ping pong with with kids from Japan all the time, right? And that’s I don’t know, that’s cool. And got to play on TV and all that good stuff. It was a really, really unique experience. So, you choose football, you go to Georgia, you play under Kirby Smart. What are the things you’ve learned the most having been under Kirby Smart? Uh, definitely, you know, when to turn up the intensity meter. He is very, very good at that. And also like enjoy the moment. I mean, you never know when your last day playing ball is over. like those memories playing little league baseball as a kid uh are so awesome, so unique, so pure. Uh high school football as well, but man, when you get to call it just the real deal, uh them big boys start hitting. Um but, uh also all the cool stuff that comes with it, the the big lights and the big games, all that good stuff. So, uh definitely definitely fun. And how good was that or hard was that transition when you went from the college game to the pro game because you spent some time in the NFL. So, yeah, guys got bigger and the guys got faster and the the windows uh and the margin of error got so much smaller. So, you just have to be on top of your game. You’re spending all day long just studying football. The amount of film you can watch, it just it never it never gets old and you can never watch enough and do enough. There’s always something to talk about, a protection thing to go over, an audible for this look. And you know, you’ll you’ll scramble and you you find one clip and that one clip messes up the entire game plan. So, uh man, talking and doing ball as a living uh is is such a such a blessing. a little bit easier too being able to do this now than you know being a professional athlete. Um but yes, you’re right. It’s like I’m sure it was for you in college that it felt like a job sometimes too with all the work that you put into it. Oh yeah. But Georgia football has been a blast to watch. Oh yeah. And you guys you you’ve been a part of that too. So yeah. I mean, not to take any pride or credit, you know, but I think there’s a like a a little bit of of sense of, hey, you know, like we got this thing started in in 2017 and it’s it’s continued on to new heights and uh who would have ever thought, you know, back-to-back national champions and man, here we are now. My only thing is enjoy it. Enjoy it while it lasts. It can be over and gone in a blink. So, enjoy the time we’re in because things are things are looking good. And that’s my question to you. How hard is it to trade the helmet for a headset now? It’s It’s tough. It’s tough, but we we we turned down opportunities. Uh we we had tough phone calls, but uh we’re here, man. We’re we’re dialed into this, and I could not be more excited to uh see what this fall has in store for us, and um I’m just I’m so excited to be doing this with you, Bailey. Thanks for having me on to tonight. This is uh this is pretty cool. Yeah. If you did not know, we have Georgia pregame and postgame show on Atlanta News. First, game time and overtime. Before the game, we get you prepared for everything. It’s an hour before every Georgia football game. And then immediately after the game, flip to first postgame show immediately following. It’s hosted by me, Jake. We have Renie Curran in the house, Davin Bellamy, Drew Butler. It’s a fun time. It is. We got to tune in. You You have to We talk about it all. We don’t just talk about Georgia sometimes. We talk about Texas losing to Ohio State. Whatever the hot topics are in college football, we truly have a blast. Jake, what else can fans expect from that show? What do you like? Because that is your first broadcasting. We’re getting in the mix of everything. That’s right. Well, I think you get a unique experience. You get offense, you get defense, you even get special teams with Drew Butler. Uh, and you know, you get a great person in yourself to to kind of mitigate all the all the disaster that’s going on between us. So, I think you get some pretty good insight, some pretty interesting interesting takes. Is it hard for you to walk around campus now that you’re used to play there? You everyone knows Jake from on in Athens. Is it hard for you to want to set? Do you get stopped? A little bit. Actually, what’s what was actually so funny about our first show, my brother had no idea exactly. He knew what what I was doing. Had no idea where we were doing it. And my brother happens to be behind us on set at Creature and like looking around like, “Oh, hey, look, there’s there’s my brother.” But uh yeah, going to that game uh last Saturday for the first time, me and Drew trying to weave through the crowd and get into the game as fast as we could. a little different, but man, it’s always so good to to see the fans and and the you know, the the great relationship there and uh and it’s it’s so so cool. The best part is that you get mobbed by fans out here for Live from the Chop and you get mobbed by fans at A&F game time in Athens. Both popular, most very nice guys. Jake, thanks for joining us. Thank you so much. Thanks, Jake. Stick with us. We’re going to have one more segment coming up from Live from the Chop. Chris Sale getting ready to get on the mount and get these Bravos going for a matchup against the Mariners. Stick with us. Your starting lineup is coming up next. It’s almost that time. Braves baseball gearing up to start game one against the Mariners. Chris Sale returning to the mount. Brian Snickert saying that he is such a foundation for this team. He’s going to give them a little bit of the spark just getting back in the mix. Welcome back into Live from the Chop. Bailey Burmaster, Charlie Coerson. We do the watch and win. Should we give the fans the word? Can you give me the word, too? I don’t know the word. Let’s give them the word. Tonight’s Watch and Win with Braves on Gray winning word is safe. You have until 11:59 p.m. Eastern tonight to go to braves ongray.com and enter for a chance to win a fourack of tickets to see the Braves on Friday, September 26th. First, the Pittsburgh Pirates. Of course, the starting lineup tonight looks a little different. Let’s get to your starting lineup brought to you by All Four Seasons Garage Doors. Ronald Akuna Jr. not in that lineup. They wanted to give him some rest in Chicago, but they just ran out of outfielders, Snickers said. So, he’s getting some rest tonight. But who are you paying attention to tonight? Oh, I mean, I think I’m paying attention to Hassan Kim. I mean, he’s in the in the fifth hole. Uh, first start as a Brave here at Truis Park. We’ve already seen a home run from him in his second game with the Braves. So, I’m my eyes are on Hassan Kim tonight. What are the keys to the game tonight going against the Mariners? Well, Chris S’s back on the mound. I mean, he’s he’s back and healthy. I think he’s going to be dominant like he always is, but it’s Cell being dominant and then Hassan Kim. I think those I’m just throwing out two names and so it’s it’s going to be great to watch. Some home cooking is certainly going to be nice for these Braves. That will do it from Live from the Chop. Make sure to join Back to the Chop with Charlie, Paul, Peter as we get things going after the game. Until then, enjoy the game. We’ll see you for more games on Braves on Gray.
