  1. Back in 2007, I was a young mortgage broker and found a niche doing loans on mobile homes. Argent Mortgage was the biggest lender who would fund those, and they were also Furyk's main sponsor.

They invited 36 high-volume brokers from here in Northeast Florida to join him at TPC Sawgrass for a clinic, then a round of golf, then lunch.

While we were eating and doing Q&A, I asked him if golf was always easy for him, or if he gradually became better and better. He said "It was always easy, because I was the only kid who went to the driving range every day during the summer while other kids were playing."

I can't imagine how many reps he's done to perfect his swing. What a machine!

  2. I have immense respect for Jim, the amount of people that would have told him he had to change must have been off the charts, he just kept doing it his way, won a Major and is one of the most consistent golfers to ever play the game. 👏

  3. I use the double overlap grip for the last 25 years I have consistently been a single digit handicap 2-3 handicap with 67-68 scores of under

  4. He could do that consistently because his trail hand nearly grazed his trail thigh on the downswing. It's basically as low as hands could go.
