PULLMAN, Wa. – Brady Kaufmann finished the day one under to lead SIUE golf in the first two rounds at Washington State’s Palouse Collegiate.

The Cougars are 12th in the 12-team field at 577 following the first 36 holes of play. SIUE carded rounds of 288-289.

Washington State leads the team tournament at 541.

Brady was even at 71 for the first round, before carding a 70 in the second round. He is 33rd in the field.

Tomas Rascon, playing in his first collegiate tournament, is 45th at one over. He was even in the first round before finishing the second round two over.

Preston Bily is two over for the day. He was two over after the first round and then shot 71 in the second round. He is 51st.  Brent Reintjes is seven over and is 68th. Will Simpson is 13 over and is 81st in the field.

Santa Clara’s Carter Overfelt is 11 under and leads by a stroke of Washington State’s Dylan Burcham and Idaho’s Josh McCartain.

The final 18-hole round gets under way at 7:45 a.m. CT Wednesday.
