Any advice on how to get the hosel adapter out of the head after a shaft break? (Without stabbing self?)

Pull the screw out and push the adapter out with an allen wrench, screw driver, wood dowel, etc.

    Undo the screw

    WD-40

Maybe try some pliers on the ferrule/tip

  4. Loosen the screw then thread it back in slightly. It should still be loose. Then give the torx wrench a tap while it’s still in the loose screw until it pushes the adaptor out a bit. Should be easy to remove from there after the initial give.

Grab the shaft with needle nose and tap against something firm but non marking

Are those hosel adapters known for breaking? My G430 5 wood broke there. Bigger problem was the head flew into the pond. Good news was that my ball made it over the water.

Two shots or bourbon. Bite that shit. And twist.

Send to Ping. They seem to have it figured out.

I saw that you did indeed get it out with a potato, however, I can still help if you just send me the driver head. Thank you.

Channel locks. Most stores won’t charge a new adapter with a shaft purchase
