First set 3-Sw w/ chipper and putter for $100

Second set 4-PW 3,5 wood and driver w/ bag and buggy for $80

Don’t know much about clubs are either of these good options for a beginner looking to get second hand clubs

Have you played at all? Also how much do you hope to play? TBH I’d be tempted to save up a couple hundred more and get a decent set like the call away edge from Costco.

These clubs are pretty bad the first set if anything but even 80-100 bucks your 1/4 towards a much better set

Both sets kinda suck but as a beginner you won’t notice why for about the first 20 rounds.

I’d go with the second set because you’ll have a driver and some woods. I’d buy them then spend some money on lessons. Lessons will help you right now way more than clubs.

As a beginner, pay as little as possible.

Find out how much you enjoy the game before spending significantly on clubs. The clubs themselves are not going to make a big difference in your game starting out.

My first set of clubs were ancient, real wood woods and old forged irons. The 2 iron was my favorite club to hit and I hit the ship out of it. I had no idea that it was a brutally difficult club to hit. I had no concept of how backswing keep the ball flying straighter. I actually thought it was easier to hit straighter without loft.

Save your money now. If you enjoy the game enough, use that money later. When you have an at least a consistent shapee to your swing g. Then possibly look to get a quality se of clubs fitted to you. Shaft length, flex of the shift to match your swing speed, the lie of the club face, etc.

I’d just grab some Irons from 20003-2008 from one of the bigger brands
