I Spent $10,000 on Golf Lesson to FINALLY Beat My Brothers

I spent $10,000 on golf lessons with the official goal of finding out how much that would reduce my 22 handicap buy. The real goal, however, has always been to get good enough to beat my two brothers, Nick and Tim. I’ve never won a match between the three of us, which is why I invested a lot of money and spent the last month grinding range work, short game, putting. I even hired a sports psychologist. I think I’m a lot better now. The only thing left is to find out if I can finally beat them. But here’s the real challenge. I’m not just playing against any two guys. They’ve both been working on their game. Tim is the youngest brother who recently made 18 pars in a row. He hasn’t come down from his high horse since and is technically the best golfer out of us, but see how long that lasts. Nick is the middle brother who recently released a video where he trained like Bryson Dshambo for 30 days and somehow got worse. Every now and then he does have his moments, but honestly I’m uh not too worried about him at this point in time. Today we’re going to play a sixhole stroke play match. Lowest score wins. Let’s find out if spending all of this money was worth it. Yeah, it’s looking good. That’s good though. Oh, too far. This is our chance. I think there’s been a slight shift in scoring here. [Music] All right, we are at Apex Golf in Slovakia today. The time has come for the first ever stroke play match between the three of us on this channel. Tim, you have a lot to lose. How do you feel? I’m a bit nervous, but you know, um, as as long as I play, okay, I think I should have you guys. Okay, we’ll see about that. I’m pretty confident that I’m going to take it. All right, good luck, guys. Let’s go, Nick. Nick has a lot to win. First up, we have a 311 yd par4, which is a pretty hard dog leg right. I think that’s perfect. Let’s go the other way. At least it’s going far. Watch it though by that bush there. Yeah. See that 120 club head speed, Nick? Not a bad shot. Yep. That’s all right, though. That will play there. I don’t mind that. I mean, that’s like first nose right there. I just just shaking them off. We’re We’re off the mark. We are off. Three decent T- shots. That doesn’t happen too often. I guess we’re all locked in for the big game today, huh? Yeah. You know, I typically have a right miss. And of course, when you’re playing dog leg, right, it just goes straight. 100 yards into wind. I think it’s just a 52 for me. Okay, it looks all right. Get a little left. Okay, I maybe just missed the green right, but I think it was a good yardage. All right, we found Nick’s ball on the rock here. I think that’s on the green. Okay, I landed on the next fairway over. Not a bad place to be. I probably have 170 yards in. Not the best start. No, it’s okay. Terrible second shot, but we’re back in play. See if we can go up and down to save bogey. Just off to the right this rough here with a 56. Try to get it close. Slow down. Let’s go. Come back. That’s a pretty good bunker shot from there. What will Cam Jones say? Cam Jones probably would say that I swung way too hard at that. We’re on the green. I’m not complaining. I went over the back some. It was actually a great shot from all the way back there. I think I’m going to have to try and chip it. Go ball. Keep going. Oh, I can’t believe it didn’t go down the slope. I should have definitely puted it. [Applause] Oh, way too hot. You don’t want to be two down after one hole. I saw in the range this morning, Tim, it’s all good. That’s so fair. Start off with a double. It’s not what we wanted, but we won’t let that get to us. We’ll make a part in the next hole. I mean, I get get a little bit better with the chipping around the green, but I mean, I’m pretty stocked with a bogey here. Nice. Four, five, six. Yeah, leaderboard’s established, Ben. Hope it stays that way. Well, that happened a lot earlier than I wanted it to happen. You didn’t play. You just had You hit one shot. I had one bad shot that cost me the hole pretty much. Hole number two, a only a 303 yd par4 bunkers on the left hand side and by the green on the right hand side. Work. Oh, get all the way up there. Strike too far though. I think it’s just a bit left. I think too I think it’s probably pen high left shortsided. That’s what happens when you’re you’re just too strong for short par fours. Yeah. Just double bogey on the last hole. Oh, it’s a good strike that right just off to the right. But that’s fine out there, I think. Yeah, I think you’d be fine. Just like good connection. Yeah. Yeah, man. I’m a Yeah, it’s I have to follow those two good drives. How big is your fear of losing to Nick today? Probably quit golf if that happens. You won’t see me on this channel again. Not necessarily. So, I’ve ended up a little bit right. I’m 70 75 y out. The lie’s pretty good, but on this hill it’s a bit slanted. I’m just going to try and hit down on it. And I hope it comes out quite nicely. Again, sharp dog leg to the right. Internal OB on the right hand side. potted with lots of bunkers. Yeah, it’s looking good. I think that’s really good. Yeah, we’ve got no clue, right? Cuz we’ve never played here, but I think that’s the shot. Yeah, I think that’s really good. All right, the smart thing here would be to hit a four iron, I think, because there’s Obi, right? But Tim just hit a good shot. So, I will try to do that, too. Wow. I mean, no idea if that’s good or bad. I think we all know what he’s flirting with, though. Let’s pray. Let’s pray. I’ll go four. Just wait a little bit for the green to clear. Wasting our time, huh? Yeah. Nice layup. Got the bunker. Oh, I went over the bunker. It’s how you lay up on a par five. Probably quit golf if that happens. How many more How many times did you guys say that you were going to all beat me? And now you’re tied with me. Tim is one behind. This is a massive underdog story coming through right here. I mean, I’m an 18 handicap. I’m using a putter 2 m off the green. Like I said, three to play, a lot of golf to play. It’s a 360 yard par4 slight dog to the right with bunkers in the fairway. It’s running the green. [Music] Ooh. Wa. Throwing my club as well. off brand. I just stuffed it from the last hole. So, yeah. This is It’s 97 yards. That’s 97. Yeah. That might roll. That’d be quite good. Yeah. Just to the right of the green. Okay, we pulled up to the greenside bunker and we found my provisional ball. Thank god. We thought we lost it. We looked for a while. The green side bunker goes quite a bit back, by the way. It’s like it’s not like it was right next to the green. Okay, that’s good. I definitely thought my game today was over, but uh we might be back in again. Oh, wow. [Applause] Ah. Well, I’m just off the green, but I’m going to putt. I’m off the back of a triple bogey with like very poor short game. So, if we can make a par here, steady the boat. [Applause] That’s not quite there. We’re putting for a double. Yeah, I can make that though. Overall, things could have gone a lot worse. [Applause] [Music] Didn’t have that. We lost him off the tea. Oh, how is everyone still in this game? Just to recap, not a lot of good golf going on, but current score is that I am five over. I’m four over. You’re four over. And Tim’s also four over. One shot match. Two holes to go in this game. Anything can happen. It’s going to be a close one. Hole number five. 173 par three. Water left and right and bunkers short of the green. Wow. That is right on it. That sucks. Go in. Land soft over the back. Over the back, I think. Yeah. Throw the yardage. Now you land. Don’t blame me. All right, rough last hole. It’s time to once again bounce back. Strike this. Well, stop turning. Ah, he’s in trouble. Also big. You’re like in the bush in the back. [Music] I think I’m going to find it. And if I can’t play it, I’ll drop one. Nick, you’re going to have to explain this next level thinking here. Teeing off 10 yard behind the T box. My thought process is that you guys all hit it long, but I still like the club, so I’m just going to tee off 2 m behind. Come around. Do the right club. Next on the green. Next on the green.
