SEATTLE – Carmen Lim, Mads Smith, and Wendy Tang have been named to the Big Ten’s golfers to watch list.

The list includes 54 student-athletes (three players from each conference institution) and the full list can be found here.

Lim, the longest tenured Husky on the 2025-26 roster and one of two seniors, competed in nine tournaments as a junior. Lim topped the UW lineup on two occasions – both at the Juli Inkster Classic (223, +7) and the Big Ten Championships (222, +6).

Last season as a sophomore, Smith competed in five tournaments – twice as an individual and three times in the Husky lineup. Her best finish came at the Molly Collegiate Invitational, notching the team’s second lowest score (217, -1).

Tang joined the Huskies in January last season as a freshman and competed in five tournaments. Her best round came when the Dawgs were crowned champions of the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational when she put up a second-round score of 69.

The 2025-26 season gets underway next week as the Huskies are set to host the Leaders and Golf Invitational at Chambers Bay September 15-16.
