GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Samford men’s golf team placed seventh in the Bryan National Collegiate, held this past Saturday and Sunday in Greensboro, N.C.
 
Samford finished with a three-round team score of 890 (293-300-297) to finish seventh in the 14-team event. Bulldogs tied with Winthrop for the seventh-place spot. Wake Forest won the tournament with a final score of 840 (279-287-274).
 
Gavin Isbell led all Samford players, placing in 10th in the 87-player field with a three-round score of 213 (73-70-70). Tiaan Hugo, who played as an individual, tied for 15th with a final score of 219 (70-71-78), while Jack Mikesell tied for 26th at 222 (75-75-72). 

Next up, Samford will compete in the Graeme McDowell Invitational, September 22-23, in Birmingham, Ala.
