I guess it's never really "done", but finally played a round last night!

Specs/Details:

  • Moved garage door opener to side mount, cut down tracks and moved them higher
  • Installed MrCool HVAC
  • Insulated walls/ceilings
  • Slat wall tiles from Costco
  • 3/4" rubber gym flooring absorbs ball bounces nicely
  • BenQ LK936ST projector
  • Trackman IO
  • MeTechs motorized screen bar
  • Spectrum Golf hitting screen
  • Carl's Place side curtain kit
  • Homemade tiles on the right using Temu memory foam and marine vinyl
  • Home built PC mounted to the wall
  • SigPro Softy hitting mat

Pretty happy with how it came out so far. Any tips/suggestions to make it better?

Awesome. Do you think you’ll ever turf infront of the hitting mat?

  3. It would be nice to know how to do shit like this.

What size diameter / thickness is the bar? I have 16 foot span but the bar i am using bends slightly. I used side opener garage door set up without the springs.

How far back is your projector? Not a bad thing, just curious. Excellent setup!

This is spectacular! Nice job. Love the slat walls. Can you use the slats to hang stuff off of, or is esthetics only?

Do you live somewhere with snow? Have you considered the salt runoff and ice/snow melt?

This is incredibly well done, similar to what I’m looking to do. What was your all in cost minus the LM, PC, and SigPro?
