PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose golf team finished its first round of the season with a team score of 289 (+1) in the Golfweek Fall Challenge at the True Blue Golf Course on Sunday afternoon. The Blue Hose are in 11th place after round one. Sophomore Jeep Patrick paces the Blue Hose after shooting a 71 (-1) in the first round. Patrick is currently tied for 24th place.  

Georgia Southern leads the field with a first-round score of 276 (-12).  

 

Notables


Patrick recorded four birdies and 12 pars on his opening round.
Sophomore Richard Anaclerio and freshman James Rhodes are tied for 35th place after shooting even par rounds of 72. Anaclerio had four birdies and 10 pars on his round. Rhodes had three birdies and 13 pars on his first collegiate round.
Junior Spence Hagood is tied for 56th place after shooting an opening round 74 (+2). Hagood had two birdies and 12 pars on his round.
Junior Avery Barnes shot an opening round of 81 (+9). Barnes had two birdies and eight pars on his round.
