RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University’s men’s golf team will being the Fall 2025 season in Huntington, W.Va. on Monday, Sept. 8 at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational.
 
The two-day tournament will take place at Guyan Golf and Country Club as EKU will face Dayton, Youngstown State, Purdue – Fort Wayne, Marshall, Murray State, Central Michigan, Longwood, Missouri State, Northern Kentucky, Radford, Cleveland State, Ohio University, Bellarmine, and Robert Morris.
 
Leading the way in season two for head coach Pat Stephens since returning to Richmond last spring will be; Anders Larson, Zach Watterson, Jackson Finney, Justin Begley, and Jameson Corbin. Competing as an individual from EKU will be Hristo Yankiev, a transfer from Kansas.
 
Larson returns after a debut season in Richmond last year where he posted the lowest scoring average of any Colonel with over 15 rounds played at 72.68 through 34 rounds played.
 
In 2024-25, Watterson posted three top-10 finishes including two in the top five with 14 rounds at par or better trailing only Larson for the most last season.
 
Jackson Finney played in 34 rounds last season with his best round coming at the Colonel Shootout where he shot 69 (-3) in the first round.
 
Begley tied for the lowest single round with the Colonels last season with a 65 (-6) at the Colonel Shootout last season with Larson who shot a 65 (-2) at the Mesquite Desert Classic.
 
Corbin appeared in eight rounds last season  with a stroke average of 73.88.
