ST. GEORGE, Utah (ABC4) — St. George Police are seeking suspects of vandalism at local golf courses.

In community alert issued on Friday, St. George Police stated, “We’ve observed an unfortunate increase in vandalism at Sunbrook Golf Course, with kids riding Surrons or gas-powered motorcycles and engaging in inappropriate behavior on the course greens, causing thousands of dollars in one incident. Areas affected include the Black Rock 9 and the Woodbridge 9.”

Police said similar acts of vandalism have occurred at other St. George golf courses recently.

All parents and guardians are urged to discuss responsible behavior with their children and supervise activities where needed.

“We are actively working to identify those involved through photos captured at the golf course,” St. George Police said. “Legal action can be taken against the juvenile and their parents.”
