Mizzou women’s golf opens the 2025-26 season on Monday at the Sam Golden Invitational.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Thirteen teams are set to compete at Oakmont Country Club in Corinth, Texas, starting with 36 holes on Monday. First round play begins at 8:30 a.m. CT with round two immediately to follow. The tournament will conclude on Tuesday with the final round beginning at 8 a.m.
The Tigers are joined in the field by Texas Tech, Kansas State, Mizzou, Louisville, Nebraska, Tulsa, Texas State, New Mexico State, UTSA, Middle Tennessee, Tulane, Central Arkansas and host North Texas.
The par-72 course at Oakmont measures 6,343 yards in length.
RETURNING TIGERS
Missouri returns to action after finishing last season ranked No. 64 nationally. The ranking continues the upward trajectory of the program which was ranked No. 120, No. 89 and No. 79, respectively, each of the previous three years.
Missouri finished with a 297.0 stroke average in 2024-25, which ranked seventh all-time in program history. The mark follows the all-time record of 293.1 set during the 2023-24 campaign.
Junior Fleur van Beek and senior Melanie Walker headline the Tigers’ returning roster. Walker enters her senior year with the fifth-best stroke average in school history (74.25) after tying the program record for best 18-hole score at the SEC Championships (68) last season.
Van Beek led the Missouri returners with a 74.71 stroke average a season ago. The junior posted the 10th-best single-season stroke average and third-best freshman score in 2023-24 (73.70).
Three freshmen are poised to make their Tiger debut this year, Aliya Liberatore, Ebba Liljeberg and Addie Surber.
Lijeberg and Surber will make their collegiate debuts on Monday.
