Another hot day in Texas for day two of the Aramco Houston Championship coming from Golf Crest Country Club. Part four of five in the PIF Global Series on the Ladies European Tour. In her first event since the AIG Women’s Open, Charlie Hall in with a chance of winning the individual. She’s fought back of her Soulheim Cup teammate Carlo Saganda. What a round from the Spaniard. Nine birdies in her first 13 holes on her way to a 64. She leads at 10 under par. The team event concluded on Saturday. Team Gainer finishing in fourth place at 30 under par thanks to puts like that from Claraara Davidson Spila. Team Alexander also finished in fourth place. Nuraios individually in the mix though. A 67 from the Morcan. She’s at nine under par and just one shot back. Mimi Rhodess only two a drift. The number one player on the ladies European tour in with a chance of a fourth victory of the season. Her team finished in a share of second at 31 under par. Team Boutier led overnight, but despite their best efforts and this birdie from the captain, they left themselves one shot short of team Kuskava. Thanks to magical moments like this from the captain at the ninth. Sara in for an eagle too. Twice an individual winner on the tour this season, second on the order of merit. She’d already won a team event in Korea this season and thanks to this putt from April Angorasani at the 18th, team Kuska took the title at 32 underpar. What a moment for the Thai golfer. It’s a confirmation of how it finished a one-shot victory in the end for team Kuska at the Aramco Houston Championship. Congratulations to Sarah Kuska, to Sophia Kipskor Nielson, to April and to Anna Balatz who got their hands on the trophy. One trophy still to be won and it’s Carlos Saganda in pole position after that brilliant round of 64.
