Is Loggers Trail one of the BEST golf courses in Minnesota?
When I say get me to God’s country, I don’t mean blowing off the entire cast of SNL. I mean getting to Logger’s Trail Golf Course in Still Water so I can hit a banana cut piss missile just off the right side of the fairway on hole nine. Now, the video didn’t do it justice, but with my ball well above my feet, I felt like Royce Lewis smacking a line drive harder than making the second round of the NHL playoffs in a decade. Now, I had prime ball striking opportunity on this hole. And I knew if I was able to dunk this in for eagle, me and the fellas were going to go down the road to the Patriots tavern where I was going to drink until I got kicked out for yelling, “I don’t speak red coat.” when the family at the table next to me told me to keep it down about my hole out for eagle. Oh boy. Now, all that patriotism going through my head, which matched my shoes, got me a little too bricked up, which resulted in me skulling it over the green into the backside pond. Felt like a psychopath today. So, I just decided to rehit with the penalty stroke and put this one safely on the green, which would beg the question of why the hell I couldn’t do that the first time. And with a 25-footer for bogey, I dropped that harder than my 2020 cryptocurrency investments.
