Do you keep hold of the golf club throughout the swing? And you may think immediately that’s a strange question. I never let go of the club. But that’s not the detail I’m talking about. With intuitive golf, it’s about natural ideas that can change many other aspects of your swing. So, here is a challenge for you, and it may sound simple, but I promise you it’s a real challenge. See if you can do it. Can you be aware of your hands staying around the handle constantly throughout the full motion of the swing? Can you stop every other distraction that normally goes on from you? Every other swing thought, every attempt to hit the ball well, every attempt to hit the shot well, and can you just keep your hands aware of that handle and keep control of that handle throughout the swing? If you can, I think you’ll begin to find you’ll have a much more compact swing. And if you video your swing, I bet you’ll begin to see other changes happening in a positive way that might surprise you. Most of us do not have a complete grip all the way through the swing. There’s generally little twists and turns going on, little gaps in our grip that cause the club face to twist. And as we know, that can lead to a lot of erratic shots. So there is your challenge. Next time you’re playing, just see if you can keep your hands constant on the grip throughout. Make that your only awareness. And if you can, I think you’ll find up you’ll get a lot more control. Hope you enjoyed that. Remember, if you did, subscribe and follow so you get the next video coming up.
