Should you play a mallet or a blade putter? Let’s figure out what’s best for your game. Selecting the right putter comes down to look, feel, and your natural putting stroke. The blade has a smaller and simpler look. The blade also often has a softer feel off the face compared to the mallet. Most blades have some degree of toe hang, so this putter is perfect for someone who has more of an arc stroke. The mallet has a much larger look and often isn’t as soft off the face as the blade putter. These putters are often face balanced, which is perfect for someone with a straighter path. The upside to the mallet putter and why I think a lot of pros are switching to the mal putter is the higher MOI. This essentially means a larger sweet spot. For short putts, you might not see as much of a difference when you hit it off the toe or the heel, but for long putts, you’ll definitely see a wider dispersion with a lower MOI putter. Even with all this, the biggest aspect with picking the right putter for you is making sure you’re looking down at a putter that gives you confidence. So, with all this said, which putter do you think is best for your game? Found it.

I'll never use a mallet. Hate the way it looks and personally it's too easy for me to hit it too hard. Love my ping blade.
I have a blade but would def rather a mallet!
I switched from blade to mallet.
Says face balanced as you show a zero torque putter. Also good to know that mallet putters can have toe hang just as blade putters can be face balanced.
I think something for me would be like the ping DS 72 tried it out in the pro shop even took it out for a test run. It’s absolutely beautiful.
I tend to leave mallets open coming at the ball
Should I start anchoring if I can’t decide which one? Lol
Is this rage bait??
I will say I have sank more long distance putts with my Mallet but I made more 8 footers and closer with my old blade.
