The ladies European tour has landed in the United States in the lonear state of Texas for the Aramco Houston Championship. A Saturday where the team event will be concluded and it’s the team led by major champion Selene Boutier who set the pace in round one. her quartet start the day with a twoshot lead. Amongst the chasers are team tan, the Singaporean who went to university in Texas, feeling right at home in the Houston heat. It’s been 6 years since Anne Vanam lifted an L trophy, but that could change this weekend. The standout star of 2025 has been Mimi Rhodess and the English woman hit Route 66 to set the pace in the individual event on course for win number four of the year. Team Boutier leading the way, but these PIF Global Series events have shown that anything’s possible in the team side of things. Everyone on this first page has a chance. Two players from Morca, Luna Sabbron and Nuraios in the group. Two shots a drift of Mimi Roads. World number 10 Charlie Hull starts the day in a tie for sixth. Well, howdy y’all. It’s day two of the Aramco Houston Championship. The fourth stop of five on the PIF Global Series. the Ladies European Tour in the USA for the fifth year in a row and we’re at Golf Crest Country Club in Purland just south of downtown Houston. A course that opened in 1927 but was redesigned in the 1970s by famed course architect Joe Finger. As you can see, treeline layout lakes come into play on 13 of the holes. Today it’s playing just under 6,500 yd a par 72. It’s another hot and humid day. Some cloud cover. Temperatures expected to reach 92° F, 33° C. Wind not really a factor, getting up to no more than 8 m an hour. We’ll be hearing from Amy Balden and Sophie Walker on the course, as well as Gabby Partington doing the interviews. I’m Richard Kaufman. Alongside me is Kate Burton. Afternoon, Kate. Uh, just remind us, Kate, what to expect today and tomorrow here in Houston. Well, first off, I didn’t realize you spoke Texan, Richard. Very impressive. Uh we’ve got a 54 hole for bat and it incorporates the team competition that will finish this afternoon and uh then tomorrow will be the individual battle will continue with the top 60 players and ties advancing through to Sunday’s championship. But today the focus is very much on the team. You’ve got teams of four professionals. The best two scores on each whole count and uh there’s a lot of money at stake. $1.5 million in the individual honors and 500,000 in the team event. And it’s all very close out there. There’s been a lot of birdies so far. Yeah, we’ll try and get through it all for you because there has been a lot of change. Let’s start with team Fuller. Yes. And this was Alexandra Sway who’s part of team Fuller. Started the day four back on 14 under that birdie at nine moved them to 23 under, just one off the pace. Sarah Burn part of team Rose. They were partners together at the Curtis Cup uh a year ago. Beautiful T-shot from Sarah there to take the team to 24 under park. And then this from the leading team, Maddie Tolson. Remember they were the leaders on 18 under. Captain Selene Boutier rolling a beautiful birdie in at fifth hole. They got to 21 under. So very much part of the conversation. Yeah, same group and Selene Boutier at the same hole with a two that took her to three under par individually. The team up to 23 under par. And then Anisa Utaba hasn’t played very well on her own, but is part of team Cassie Alexander rolled in her first birdie of the day. That was just moments ago. They are 13 under today as a team and they are now 24 under. Look at this shot from Mimi Rose. Just the one birdie on the card coming to the par 4 ninth in the trees. Little bit of cut spin beautifully down to the hole in for a birdie to take her closer to the top. She has been called by the way. More on that in a moment. Also in the trees but battling very well indeed. Sarah Kuska a two-time winner this year on tour. Brilliant from the trees. Even better in the hole for a two for Kuska. That certainly helped the team complexion and her own individual score. They’ve now moved to 24 under par. I love the look on their faces. It’s obviously the place to be in those trees down the ride at nine. I have to say this is Carl after Saganda par five first hole. Chipping up and rolling in the pup from there for birdie number seven of her round. She’s up to nine under in the individual lead. Yes, it’s incredible play from Saganda. And then Selene Boutier once again knocking it close. exceptional iron play. She is longer this year. Boutier got an extra distance and very much keeping her team chances alive with excellent shots like that. And uh Boutier now only a few shots behind. They are on 25 under par, one back of Alexander. Well, I know that’s a lot to to digest. So, it is team Cassandra Alexander out in front. Cassandra with Nuria Turios, who by the way has just had four birdies in a row. She’s been the main feature in that taunt. Allesia Nebilio and Aniza Utama who we saw hold that pad a moment or two ago. That’s taken them to 26 under par, but they’re through 14 holes which means they’ve only got four holes left to play. And you’ll see team roads, team Boutier, team Kuska only through nine holes. Max Laura Moch’s team as well 24 under par. So even though team Alexander getting to 26 underpar, you’d say right now Kate unlikely unless they can carry on this incredible run to the finish that they will win this. Well certainly. And when you’ve got players like Mimi Rhodess who was a six under yesterday in her own quest. Uh you’re going to be looking at scores in excess of 30 under. They’re going to see you on the podium. But everybody will have eyes on first prize. It’s going to be interesting to see how it fares out there this afternoon. That’s for sure. Well 66 was the low round yesterday that came from Mimi Rosie you mentioned, but Carlotta Sagand has just added another birdie at the par 53rd. So she has played 12 holes and she has made eight birdies in those 12 holes. 70 yesterday. She’s up to 10 under and one shot ahead of her compatriate. I mentioned Nuria Turios just a moment or two ago. Four birdies in a row. So the lead one. Mimi Rhodess we saw make a birdie at nine. She’s up to eight under par. Last year’s Italian Open winner Amy Taylor having a really difficult year but playing really nicely today. She is four under for her round. Seven under overall. A lot to digest there and you kind of get the feeling it’s going to be one of those days given the way it started. Kate, well, they’re getting the measure of this golf course. It’s the first time for most of them playing this course. Uh, first time here in Houston for the ladies European tour. Mimi Rhodess is certainly feeling very comfortable. And this is another Bley opportunity. Now, this at the 10th Oh, that was to move to nine under par and to get within one of Saganda. It was also to take the team into a share of the lead as well alongside team Alexander. But, you can’t hold them all. She says she’s been working really hard on her putting. Only 25 putts yesterday from Mimi Roads. Getting back to the kind of putting stats that got those three wins early in the year. We’re about 20 miles south of downtown Houston. So that’s how good those cameras are. That’s 20 miles away. And what a city. What a place to come and visit. Have you had a good week? You’ve been to the baseball? I have had a good week, but I hear you got your cowboy boots on last night. Oh, I mean I I ticked a big item on my bucket list. Yeah, I danced with a cowboy last night and it felt like being on the set of Foot Loose. Brilliant. Yeeha. Here’s Hinson Toshard. Naddie, part of team Bier. No birdie for her there. What a round from Christina Napoli over. But as I say that, she misses at 10 and drops a shot. Remember she had a hole in one yesterday. She had a hole out today as well at four. A player who’s outside the top 120 on the ladies European tour rankings. So that bogey first of the day takes her back to four under. Big couple of days for Christina, not just in the team event, but in the individual side of things as well. Well, here is Luna Sabbron Gomez who lost her clubs on Monday. Got a whole new set, came in with very low expectations and played brilliantly yesterday. Now, that was a par there for Galves, but uh I you you just can’t believe that. Didn’t see any of her clubs. Thank you very much, she said to Titus for helping her get her bag ready for yesterday’s round. Double bogey at the second, nice birdie at the first. So, three under, but very quickly there’s daylight between her and Sager on 10 under. But remember, we’re keeping an eye on both leaderboards today. And important for Maggie Zimmer trying to make the cut at the moment. She’s at one over par which is one shot outside the cut line. She’s only made two cuts in her last two years. So being around for tomorrow’s final round. Top 60 in time is important as well as playing a big part of team Bier’s quest to win the team event. A reminder because I know there’s been a lot for you to digest. The team event will conclude today. If we have a playoff that will be after the event today, after the round today and then the individual side of things will be a 54hole event. So that concludes tomorrow. The weather forecast for tomorrow wasn’t looking good, but it is getting better all the time. We are maybe expecting some storms, but as the moment it’s suggesting they’re coming later in the day. Fingers crossed that is the case. But it’s lovely to be in the Lone Star State of Texas. We’ve been in the USA now five years in a row. The first four times was uh in New York a couple of times. Couple of times in Florida. Now Kabori, that’s for a birdie attempt at the eighth hole. Struggling four over par today for Mamokco Kabori. But she is part of team Shannon Tan who had an excellent day yesterday. are playing alongside a major champion in Daniel Kang and a Gat Son. Team Tan though are 20 under par right now and uh from being right at the top of the leaderboard yesterday. They’re only four under today. So they’re six shots off the pace. So few holes remaining. Obviously the back nine to come and we know how successful Shannon Tan has been. Second year on tour already two wins. Yeah, I like the the interview yesterday with team tan. Danielle Kang just couldn’t believe how good Shannon is from T green. She hit every fairway yesterday, Shannon Tan. But that isn’t unusual. Not a missed fairway and the putter working as well there 70 yesterday. So she moves to one under path for the round. Yeah, Danielle called her the ultimate fairway finder. She also said one or two other things that I can’t repeat but yes I best not not if you want to be on telly tomorrow 86% of fairways Shannon has hit this year that is some stat and here is Danielle Kang who was saying also in that interview yesterday she wishes she could be playing team events every week because she has struggled hasn’t she this uh year in fact the last few years level par today one underpar in total you can see team Boutier waiting back on the tea. Yeah, what an interesting player. What a She’s a complicated cat, Daniel Kang. Depends what day you get her. Sometimes she can be great, sometimes she can be a bit tricky, but this is now for a birdie at the eighth. And she’s been in very good form this week. And there’s a good birdie to reflect that. Two under and clearly having a good time studying as well as playing golf as well. So going back to college, think she has a bit more perspective on life as she gets a bit older. You’ll see from these aerial pictures, plenty of trees around Golf Crest Country Club and plenty of uh lovely houses as well. Yeah, lots of Texan flags as well as US flags outside the front of these houses. wrapping things up now. Kabori, no problems. And you are right in thinking there’s another Kabori out there, her brother. He plays on DP World Tour. Kazuma Kabori and also in Australia. Yeah, Kazumi actually uh went brilliantly well at the British Masters the same week that Kazuma Mamokco rather was contending at the Hills Open. I thought we might have a brother sister win on both European tours, the DP World Tour where Kazumi is now. Selen Boutier on the team. We we sent Amy Balden out with team Boutier yesterday. All worked rather well. So same again, Amy. Yes, I’m out here on the eight pole, the par three. 168 yards for Boutier. This pin front left today. What are conditions like today, Amy? Any different from what we saw yesterday? There’s been a bit of cloud cover this morning, so it’s not actually been as as hot today as what I would say. I think it’s a little bit cooler for the girls, which has been nice, but really not really much wind out here. Say it’s very similar conditions. Yeah, scoring seems to be a lot lower. We’re seeing Mo Fala tear it up out on the course. Carlotta Sagan did the same. Is it just about the pin positions or are these players getting used to what is at hand here? I think getting used to the golf course is one. I do I spoke to a couple of players after their round yesterday, Bronty Law being one of them and she just said that the pin positions yesterday were actually really difficult to get close to and especially later in the day as the greens are firming out. It’s then hard to get close to especially a pin position like number eight today. Trying to trying to get close to a front pin is difficult. Simaka 168 yds, seven iron. Just avoided the bunker there. Tall Shard next to play six iron for the Australian. Trying to keep this just right at the pin. Want to carry this minimum 160. Well, that looks to be right at it. Just coming up a club short. Who impressed you most from this uh group yesterday, Amy? I think Sabbron Galves. I think I she was just solid all day along with Butier. They gave themselves a lot of chances out there. Amy, it’s amazing to think that Sabbron Galves lost her golf clubs on Monday. Yeah, I did I did hear that and I saw an interview yesterday and uh I mean I think that then takes the pressure off, isn’t it? If you’ve not got your golf clubs, you’ve then you know not gone through maybe the proper preparation for the week. So it does take that little bit of pressure off. She cobbled a set together quite brilliantly though, didn’t she? She did a round of four under yesterday. Her approach play has been good all season. One of the most consistent players on tour. Well, there’s a good example of that. That is top notch from Luna who’s trying to get things back on track because her compatriate Carlotta Saganda is on a tear from the other side of the course. Carlotta has just picked up birdie nine, number nine of the day. We are on 59 watch, I think, right now. Although we aren’t getting a watch on her right now. I’m sure we will be keeping an eye on Carlotta very shortly. But nine birdies in 13 holes. If she keeps that going, we could see the first ever sub60 score on the Ladies European tour. We shall see. This is the team side of things. And because of Carlotta, her team now are within one shot of the lead. Very interesting the way this second round has began. And let’s give you confirmation of what Carlotta Sagand is up to. the world number 30 who won this event in Florida in 2023, second last year in her defense as well, leading now by two from her compatriate Nuri Aturio’s nine under for the day. And I also want to point out Moa Faler on the leaderboard. They’re tied for sixth place. She started the day two over par. She has just gone out in 29 shots on that back nine. to the Swede inside the top 10. And one or two of you may be wondering what has happened to Charlie Hull because she’s not on the first page. She’s not on the second page either. She is three under par. Unfortunately, Charlie started 56 starting at the 10th. She has turned it around a little bit since then, but back at three under par, which is now fully eight shots behind Carlotta Saganda. Incredible scoring from Fala and Saganda. It really is. Yeah, I I think the golf course though, the greens are rolling so pure. If you have got distance, which Saganda has, she can cut off the corners on these dog legs and when you’re playing well, which clearly she is, you’re playing with that unbridled confidence and you can see birdies everywhere you look. But it will be very exciting to see how she comes down the stretch because she’s got a lot of experience. She went on the LPJ a bit earlier this year and was the oldest player to win on tour this year at 35 years old. So she’s been on tour for, you know, many, many years. She knows how to get the job done. Team Kuska looking to make some progress. And Sophie Kibscore Nielson rolls in a birdie to get to two under par. Player looking to try and win back her full playing rights this season after losing her card last year. Well, what a start to the day. Calm, rather windless day in Texas. It can get very breezy here. Talking to one or two of the locals who play around here very often. It get up to 30 m an hour, but hardly a breath of wind. Not expecting much today, but look at that flag on the green there. Maggie Zimmer in this team. Boutier is already played. I’m sure Amy Balden can give us a full update. Yeah, Zimaka just played a beautiful little chip shot. She’s only going to have herself a couple of feet left for her par. So a lovely touch from the Argentinian Tolshard from the front of the green putting uphill through the fringe and swing from left to right early. That took a bit of a bobble as it came through that fringe as a result just coming up a little shy from the Australian. What a big part now for team Kuska as this is a part to take a share of the lead. Oh, and no problems there from April Angoras Sarin. So more birdies being poured over this Golf Crest golf course. Couple of birdies there now from Angorasarinate. Amy, how many leaderboards are there out there? Are the players aware of how tight it is in terms of this team event right now? There’s not loads, I have to be honest. There’s ones end of nine, 18. Other than that, I’ve actually not seen many leaderboards out here at all. So, I’m not sure how aware the players are. Back of the green for Boutier. Oh, good for pace. That’s a nice pop from the French woman. Keep her at four under. Yeah, at the moment one shot separates the top seven teams. Teams of four, remember best two scores count. So nothing better than a par at the moment. Team Boutier are one of the seven teams. So with my maths, 7* 4 is 28. There’s 28 players in contention pretty much. Yeah, 28 players separated by one shot in terms of the team side of things. Staying with the action at this par 38. I’ve been over to have a look at GZ’s birdie pot. There’s not much in this at all. It’s down the grain. If anything, I’d say inside, right? This one’s inside the hole. Well, Tina Sbron trying to get her round back on track. Others going birdie mad. She is one over for the day, but this would get her back to where she started. That’s a pretty poor read, you would say. She was actually saying after yesterday’s round, she’s got a sort of a new caddy this week in H. Spaniard is based out of America and he has been helping her read the greens, but they didn’t work that one out. Remains at three under. There he is. It’s a little bit of tidying up to do. Hson Toshard first. Straight in this one up the hill. Well, well, this is Sorry, Kate. I was gonna say this the place to be. It really is from the right hand side of the green. I’m gonna let you talk. I got a frog in my throat. I’ll shake that off in a second. Yeah, Kate’s leaping around in the commentary box right now. And she has played it almost as well as Kuska. Not quite. Well, let’s uh get back out on the course. We haven’t heard yet from Gabby Partington. She’s out and about chatting to some of the players. She’s got Olivia Cowan and Darcy Harry alongside her. Now ladies, this is the first time you two have actually properly got to know one another. So, how great are these team events in terms of getting to know new people? Yeah, it’s fun. Um, I think the whole team aspect is something different and I think we all really enjoy it. So, it’s always great to meet new people and we have a lot in common. Our boyfriends play on the same tour so we might see each other there as well. You actually just mentioned that. I was actually going to ask that as well. That is one thing that you have in common. You’re both golfers. Your boyfriend’s both playing the DP uh DP World Tour. Jakob Scovalolis and Todd Clemens. And how do you manage it schedule-wise? Because obviously a hectic schedule on this tour, but they have it as well. So, how do you manage to see each other? I mean, actually, we’ve seen each other quite a lot. I think uh half of the season now the schedule’s kind of aligned. His week off’s come to see me play and then my week off go see him play. So, it’s kind of all golf, but it’s the way I really like it. So, have you checked their scores today? Obviously, they’re playing in Ireland at the minute. Have you seen how they done? Yeah, we keep actually asking each other how they’re doing every day. It’s getting competitive. So, um No, I think they’ve both played um played well today, so can’t complain. We are. We got a five under. We got a four under. Now, just quickly, Olivia, this is your 10th season on tour. This is your rookie season. So, have you got a bit of advice for Darcy in terms of what she’s got to look forward to or things to know about being on tour for so long? Gosh, you’re putting me on the spot. Um, I think to for me key thing is just to have a good circle around you cuz obviously tour life is a lot. It gets stressful. You’re away from your family, your loved ones a lot. So if you have a really good circle of people that you trust and want to spend a lot of time with, I think that helps a lot. Is that helpful? Yes, it is. Yeah. Yeah, it’s really good. I think that’s what I’ve kind of figured out already that if you surround yourself with supportive people and nice people that you enjoy being around cuz you’re away quite a lot so you kind of need to make your own family out here. Well, you’ve got a new person to your circle. There you go. Thank you, ladies. NBF, new best friend. They’re going well though, aren’t they? Both individually and as a team. And also their boyfriends are doing very well in Ireland. Yeah. Jacob Scoison is tied for sixth on 10 under. Todd Clements is just outside the top 20 but on six under. Well, this one going down the left side. We know there’s good things that can happen down the right side, but she might be blocked out by the trees over there, Maggie Zimma. And it’s that’s been part of her issue. Some struggles off the tea. It’s interesting when the the patrons that come out to watch here, they they actually set up camp alongside some of these fairways. They bring their picnic chairs out, little table, and they’re not moving for the day. They might have to watch out for this drive though from Maddie Henson. Dead straight there’s Hull. Most of them are dog legs around this golf crest layout. That looks to be a good swing and Maddie seems happy enough with that. Doesn’t feel quite as hot out there. Baking sunshine the last couple of days. Blue skies. Says it’s 92. It doesn’t feel like 92. Well, we’re in an air condition commentary box. Okay. I mean, that would normally, but just walking around earlier this morning. It’s not quite as oppressive. This is true. It isn’t. But, uh, yeah, I think later this afternoon, some sun might pop out again. tailing off left a fraction. There you go. By that cap, I saw them earlier this morning, that family. They’re having a grand old time out on the golf course. They decided they’re not going to walk the course. They’re just going to wait for everybody to come through the ninth. Let’s pop over to the path 31 16th. Nice hole this. Very picturesque. Another hole with plenty of water on it. There’s a good stretch of finishing holes. 16 the parath three 17 and 18. That was Allesio Nabilio who’s part of team Alexander. Beautiful two shot from the Italian part of Mimi Roads’s team. Sarah Burn. Nicely done in for a birdie three. Yeah, the team going along well, getting those Curtis Cup vibes back, aren’t they, Mimi and Sarah? So, that takes uh team roads to 26 under par, which means we have a fiveway tie for the lead in the team leaderboard. Good luck to our production team in covering this one. My goodness. So, remember, there’s four players on each team. The best two scores on each hole will count. So nine teams now separated by one shot. So that’s 36 players separated by a stroke. It’s amazing, isn’t it? And that’s what’s so great about this team event cuz everybody can contribute. Even if you’re not playing well, you might miss the cut. And that’s if our scorers haven’t got any of the scores wrong either. Well, keep our fingers crossed on that front. Yeah, but it’s exciting, isn’t it? The goal’s been really good out there. Carlotta Saganda with her team getting up to 26 underpar. Carlotta, by the way, only a par at the par three, fifth. So, oh, only a fifth par of the round. A par. Really? Yeah. That means she’s now had four pars. Five now with that extra par. Come on, Carlotta. Would it be exciting to talk about a 59? Well, off the back of that birdie 11, Sarah Burn with a beautiful T-shot at 12. We’re in Pearland. That’s uh the name of the city that we’re in here at Golf Crest Country Club. And she’s at Utama misses out on her birdie as part of Cassie’s Al Cassie Alexander’s team. Anisa Otama didn’t play well yesterday. It was a 79 for the tide player. Only managed her first birdie of the day today at 13. But couple of birdies down the stretch. That’s all that will make that that could make a huge difference. And obviously remember Cassie Alexander has Nura Itioth in her team and she’s five under path for the day. This event 20 of 30 on the ladies European tour calendar. Unfortunately any for a par here for Cassie Alexander. Winner of the Czech Ladies Open keeps her at four under. Keeps her in the hunt individually as well. Some great rounds being out there. Some really good runs. Nastasian Nadau the latest to go on a charge. Four birdies rather five birdies in the last seven holes from the French player. So she’s up to six under. This is at the par 4 ninth. You can see the first down that left side where Simaka is almost back on the fairway over there, isn’t she? You certainly need to know how to play a punch shot around this golf course. Thread it low under the trees. All right, here we have Maggie Simaka and this is the second shot. What route will she take? You can see the pin is at the front. You can see that line in the distance. That’s where the green is and that’s the aerial view of what the player from Argentina has to face with her second. seems to be far enough back from the trees that they might not be a factor. Well, there’s definitely a gap there and you saw Maggie’s caddy there just uh sort of pointing a little fade out to her. Yeah, that would be the shot. play once uh just three years ago finished sixth on the order of merit. It’s challenging it seemed on a a weekly basis. Got a card on the LPGA tour in 2023. Struggled there and it’s been struggles all the way since. A little bit of crowd movement required. shouldn’t really come into play, but there is water down the right hand side. She’s got to be careful then she doesn’t overcut this Kate because I mean the the glory shot is on. The gap is there, but there is danger lurking just to the right of this green. Yeah, with it being a front pin location as well coming from the rough needs to get some height to get the control as well. trying to toss this up in the air. It’s moving, but that’s the problem when you’re coming from that rough. Very hard to get it to sit down. It’s going to be a testing putt to come online, though. Yeah, nicely done. I think she’ll be satisfied enough with that. Team Alexander with Allesio going along very nicely on this back nine. This for a third birdie birdie both of the par threes and that takes team Alexander to 27 under par and into the lead. The only problem for them are holes are running out. Well, first chance to say good afternoon to Sophie Walker who’s watching the LE number one here. Mimi Rhodess. Good afternoon. It’s clouded over so it’s not quite as warm, but it does look slightly stormy. Mimi Roads furthest away out of this group just slightly tugged her a time. This one down the hill moving from left to right for a two. That needs to hustle for roads. No drop shots today. Remember the overnight leader in the individual campaign went out in 34. They’re being overtaken by the fast charging Carlotta Saganda but still third on the individual leaderboard and that this team are very much in the thick of things as far as the uh the team is concerned. Mimi Sophie the the standout player here but she’s got a Curtis Cup teammate and some experience in Selen Ban and and I suppose in a poly Alva a player that’s in need of some good form a player that’s well used to team golf was a was a footballer back in her day and actually today she has been the standout she was four under the card going out the poly over this bat n Sarah Burns probably Shawn Moore good birdie on the last hole and the Excellent T- shot. She took the honor here and knocked the pin out. So, we’ve got three birdie chances all inside 10 ft. This one the hardest for Napoli over cuz it snaps from right to left. Two cups outside. Beautifully done fist bump as well from a player 121st on the order of merit. I think she was something very similar though when she won the Amundi German Masters a couple of years ago. So player who’s won twice in these PIF Global Series events. Once as a winning captain in Hong Kong a couple of years ago. What an excellent drive from Boutier. Amy was saying she’s definitely longer in 2025. This now not much club in hand, just a wedge for the French woman looking to get close and able to get the spin as well. Operating from the center of the fairway. next to go. Sophie. Yeah, that’s right. That’s right. I think it’s infectious when you play with Napoli over how enthusiastic she is. Amy Phil, just wonder if you can hear me. Hoping to get this one in from right to left. Not quite as much break, but it’s more downhill. Not only have we got lots of teams involved, we’ve got all the commentators involved as well. And uh it is going to be close out there. There is an awful lot happening out on the golf course and the team event, the individual. There’s a lot to keep across, isn’t there? Not to be for Seline. Can quite follow the playing partner in there. Seline currently two under pass are going along nicely individually. Still one more birdie chance to come though. There is. And when we spoke about Curtis Cop, Sarah Burn, I mean they were all stars, weren’t they for Katrina Matthews team at Sunell, but you feel like Sarah Burn, she was the fireworks in that. She’s got like Bronty Law about her. You feel even in her golf game and her mannerisms and is thriving out here alongside Mimi Roads. This one straight downhill. It’s downgrain as well. She’s been looking for some form of movement in it that I think can keep this one in soul. And this backto back bird is for the Irish woman. Yeah, she started the day at six over pass. She’s making a little bit of a run to try and make the cut individually. That was for a fourth answer birdie of the day. not to be from the player from Cork who’s been trying to mix it both in the United States this year and on the early been playing a mix of Epson tour and ladies European tour. It’s fair to say I think it’s it’s not quite worked out for her. It’s not easy Kate is it to do both tours. Dancing between the two is very difficult but she’s got to work out where she feels happy playing and they’re both good tours to play on Epsom Tour is the step is the tour before you graduate and play on the LPGA. This player is a multiple winner on the LPGA. Carlotta Siganda. Now, no surprise to see she’s putting for a birdie and this to move to 12 under par. Yeah, this to go 10 under for the round. A little left to right. Not sure she’s given that enough break. Pity. That’s two in a row, but six, seven, a couple of trickier holes. Eight and nine. You feel maybe couple of birdie chances to come. When you’re playing well, it doesn’t matter what the hole is or the conditions, you are just on fire. And have a look at this scorecard out in 30. Only three pars for Siganda. And she’s cruising. Well, that kind of takes 59 out of the equation though, doesn’t it? She she burded the last three holes. It would equal the best ever round on tour of 60. But although we’d have seen a two over at nine from Sar Kuska, we’ve seen actually a fair few hold outs already this week. Smeibu yesterday. Pauline Wan Bush did it at 18. Amy Phil, can you hear me? Polling one from I think Amy Balden’s watching. Selene Boutier. A tentative from Boutier. steady. Yesterday she was a couple over through the first five holes. Today no drop shots. Four under though, but Saganda with that red hot pace means one or two have got some catching up to do. Event four of five on the PIF Global Series this year. We’ve been to Korea. We’ve been to Riyad. We’ve been to London. Shenzen in China still to come. This is the team state of affairs. Four teams at 27 underpart. And a really good performance from Amy Taylor who’s not had a good year. She is outed 32, seven under par, four behind the leader right now, Carlottus of Spain. Allesio Nilio. This is at 17. Just got to try and make some birdies these last couple of holes and just see where that leaves them. You would still say it’s a slim chance of them winning this given the amount of birdies that are out on the golf course right now. Yes. And just the number of holes remaining for them. You would think they’re going to come up shy. It’s still been a very good day. 16 under par in their second round. So making a charge and it’s no surprise really when you have a captain like Cassie Alexander a winner this year on tour and knows how to get the job done in these team events. Now how many has she won? Three team events. I make it four. Is it four team? Yeah, but she won the she she held the winning putt as Cassandra Hall at the very first. So maybe that’s why you got missing one cuz it’s Cassandra Hall in those days when she won in Saudi. Yeah, the first name hasn’t changed and she’s just getting better and better. Cassie Alexander now this her second into 17. That was a smooth looking swing and gives herself a good birdie look up the hill. Yeah, got her husband out with her Audi. They all they went to the baseball the other night. Both of them got Houston Astro shirts as a little bit of momento from their trip here to Texas. They’ve been to the rodeo yet. She’s very keen that her husband goes to a rodeo. I’m sure they Well, they love the I bet they bought some cowboy boots cuz they they have shoe they have a big shoe uh wardrobe at home. Well, we went I looked at cowboy boots. They’re great. They’re not cheap here in in Houston. If unless you wear them every day, you might get value for your money. They are fabulous though and so is that tea approach from Nura It One of the most colorful characters on the ladies European tour. Multiple winner, another Spaniard who’s playing well today and mounting a charge up the leaderboard. She’s five under and nine under for the championship. Yeah, a couple of years since the fourth of Nura’s wins. Bogey free 68 yesterday. There’s a reminder of how we’ve gone globe shotting on the PIF Global Series in 2025 in Riyad back in February when Gino Titikin was the champion. Hoju Kim the winner in Korea. Laura Funuk won in London just a month ago. Just an update on Laura. She is at the moment one shot outside the cut line. Well, this is Amy Taylor’s birdie chance. That was going to be very helpful, but uh it’s still been a good day for Amy Taylor out in 32 for the English player. It’s a frustrating miss though there, isn’t it? Oh, I mean, yeah, of course, but you got to take the positives from it. As you say, it’s been a difficult year for Amy after a win last year. But currently in fourth place all by herself, and she’s another one of the players who went to university in the Lone Star State of Texas. She went to Texas Tech alongside Shannon Tan was one of her teammates there. Ludvig Oberg, another one who was part of the team at that time. Shannon only stayed there a short while because she ended up qualifying for the ladies European tour Q School after one and a half years there and ended up turning pro. It’s amazing the facilities that you have at these universities these days. The University of Alabama has just transformed its golf facilities. to spend over $40 million on their golf complex. Wasn’t like that when you went to college in the years. It certainly wasn’t like that, but I mean, Florida State University, but that was a long, long time ago. I was there with Karen Stuppples and uh they have been significantly elevated the facilities. I mean, a lot of the teams now fly in private jets to tournaments. These are amateurs. Well, one of their latest alumni has done pretty well, hasn’t she? Li. Yeah, it really is an opportunity for Europeans to go over and make the most of the American system. And lots of the players who are here, great players and the best in Europe have benefited from four, five or maybe slightly few years of golf in the American collegiate system. So, back with team Alexander, these uh uh birdie putts coming up for Allesio Nabilio. just off that back of uh that lovely birdie too at 16. So chance to get herself individually to four under par and get team Alexander to 28 under par and she has got it. Well, you never know. They can add another one here. Couple of birdies down the 18th. It could be a mean target they set. Catch us if you can. It’s always nice making a birdie in these events, isn’t it? Because you you know you’re doing it not just for yourself, but the team too. But you think if they were to finish on say 28 under palm with Kuska several holes in hand, she’s 27 under. It’s got to be in excess of 30 under. Well, that’s why I saying if they could pick out another birdie there at 17, pick up another couple at 18, then 30 under, you never I mean, it’d be unlikely, but it would give them a a slight chance. Still make some money, that’s for sure. Well, Amy Balden is back out on the course. We’ll be hearing from her in a short while. Lovely T-shot down the middle there. Zimmer would love to join her here. This at the par five 10th hole. So part of Selene Boutier’s team. 10th hole is relatively straight. Much of a dog leg trying to launch that one down there. 512 yds it’s playing today. A good drive 83 on the energy meter. How do we get there on the energy meter? Okay, we take ball speed, spin rate, vertical launch angle, and we’re still keeping up. We measure it against the players’s benchmark. It’s basically how much energy the player is delivering into the golf ball. So, if it’s high 80s, 90s, they’re really going to give it a rip with the driver. If they’re looking to play for position, maybe take a 3-wood, you would expect a lower number. Yeah, team BTA in good position. They are currently three behind team Alexander, but all these holes on the back nine still to come. The overnight lead is by two. Little bit down the right side from Hinson Tolshot. We’re already in for one birdie on this hole. Can Cassie Alexander find another? take the team to 29 under. Oh, you bet. Thrives in competition. Well, just what they needed. They can only make their birdies. I mean, it’s an impressive round of golf, isn’t it? They are 18 under par today. Remember, team Boutier shot 18 under yesterday. This won’t count to the team score, but it will do for the individual. This to get within one of Carlotta Saganda. Oh, that was a good part. Just raced it through the break there for Nuria. Seven birdies on the scorecard. There were a couple of drop shots on seven and nine for Nuria. I met uh two ladies that played with her in the proam and they said it’s the best day they’ve ever had on the golf course was playing with Nuria. If you do know her, she is full of color, full of bubbles, dances her way around. A huge credit for women’s golf in the ladies European tour. Well, there is confirmation. Those two birdies taking team Alexander two ahead with just the closing hole to come. So, they’re going to have a good weight, aren’t they? Team Alexander, they went out over two hours ahead of the final three ball. So that’s how long they potentially have to wait to see how competitive their score is. All these teams really you look at them down to team Boutier there all very much in the mix. Team Gainer. Don’t rule them out either. The fluctuations in these team events are pretty big given the fact that two scores count on each hole. And amongst those contenders is team finale finale playing with Pia Babnik Ursa the Victstrom and the number one from the ladies European tour rankings in 2023 this player from Thailand Trichat Chinglab and that is delightfully done from her team finale very much amongst the contenders. It is. Well, here’s the group of Mimi Road, Sarah Burn, Selene Urban, and Christina Napolea. They’re also part of the conversation as well. All these teams finding themselves on the front page. Mimi Roads team, they are 27 under. They have a share of the lead. But this now at the 13th holes in hand and green to work with now for Urban her third shot. Just looking for a chip and run here into the grain. Something like that. Yeah, nicely done. Yeah, tidily done for Seline. He’s looking forward to the next few weeks because uh Lasa Open is in Spain. That’s where she lives. And then the week after that’s the French Open, which obviously is her national title. So, some exciting weeks coming up for the veteran French player. There she lives on the course at Laa. This is an interesting one for Sarah Burns Surfing. She only had 149 yards in, tugged it, and you don’t want to be there. I’ve got a big cross on my yardage book saying no, it’s soft ball slightly above her feet. I don’t know if you’re trying almost like just sun done it into the top of the bank, but in Bermuda grass. Good luck with that. Flag’s only five from the left. If she gets this within 8 ft, it’s an outrageous shot. Oh, it was the right idea, Sophie. That’s what’s tricky trying to play a bump and run on this grass. It’s a lot more sticky. It grabs the ball more than it does back in Europe. And it’s very hard to get that right. But as Sophie said, a big red cross. You don’t want to be there in the first place. Anna Bellat of Slovenia. Oh, beautiful birdie at 12. She’s having a really good day helping her team as well up the leaderboard. Well, that isn’t Annabelle Hats, is it? We know who that is cuz she was this in the commentary box yesterday. That was Brianna Navarosa. Sorry, Brianna. We were told in the graphic set it was Anna Bernat, but once I saw it was you bubbling there. Well, what when you’ve got about 55 people all in contention, Richard, it’s easy for this to happen. This definitely is Christina Napole. And I know Sophie can back me up on this one. I have eyes on her. I can confirm. Nine iron to here. 149. She had in this one right edge pot. Yeah, Brianna was saying yesterday that she, you know, she feels a course like this could suit players that not necessarily the bigger hitters like her, but she’s uh she needed that one just now. Now, this is Annabel and that is a birdie from the Slovenian as well. That’s two excellent twos there from Balatz and also her partner April Angoras Sarin. That’s at the 12th hole. So they move now to 29 under. Yeah. And Anna’s had seven birdies today by the way in the second round. Player who uh plays predominantly out here in the United States on the LPGA tour. That’s how tight it is. Team Alexander joined by team Kuska at the top of the leaderboard. Team Kuska won in May in Korea. Can they do it again? We can hear from them actually. They’re with Gabby Vizara. Welcome back to Texas. You obviously went to college in the area, didn’t you? So, it must bring back so many memories. Yes. I mean, it’s special. I felt very nostalgic going through campus last weekend and yeah, just so happy to be back. I’m sure. Have you worn a few of these in your time? Oh, yeah. I have one at home. I couldn’t bring it. It was too harsh for a travel, but um definitely loving Dubai. Thank you, babe. Bring back the memories. Um have you managed to catch up with old friends since being back here? Did you come out earlier or have you done things in evenings? Yeah, I came last Friday and yeah, just spend some time at the facility at um UT golf club and yeah, caught up with some friends. It was it was so nice to be back. Yeah, we got to dig deep into your college days because we we hear a lot of golfers when they go to college, they do things like psychology, sports management. You actually did studio art. So, you’re obviously very creative. What are some of the pieces that you’ve made over your time? Well, I actually left two sculptures here. I think they’re at one of my teammates house still. Well, I hope so. There were wooden sculptures and then uh yeah, brought the paintings home which was like a 20 kilo package that just flew with FedEx. Yeah. What was the sculpture of just quickly? Uh the sculpture, well, one of them was uh it was called wooden jokes and it was these drawers that were like stuck on each other. Wooden sculptures, trophies this year. Honestly, you got it all. Nice to chat. Thank you so much. Yeah, she’s got a nice few trophies on the mantelpiece this year. First couple for her, winning in the mountains of Evian at the Jabra Ladies Open and winning in Tenneref as well. Team Kuska vying for the team win. Team Alexander trying to finish on a high. They are running out of holes to the number one player on the ED team. And no surprise to see that she is putting for yet another birdie. Mimi Rose is at 13 to get to nine under. And that was straight in. No doubt there for Mimi Rhodess. Looking for win number four rookie year. remember talked about having blisters yesterday on her feet and that was a bit of a distraction but the pain was taking her um concentration away from her goal for just letting it happen. Problems off the tea for Ano Utama. Excellent third shot but only had that to save par for team Alexander. We saw the chip shot. So this for par for Sarah Burn. They have picked up a shot here. Team roads thanks to uh Mimi’s three. So they’re up to 27 under par now. Two behind the co-leaders, team Alexander and team Kuska. Team Alexander with the captain herself now at 18. Huge drive from Cassie this 18. Just a flick with a wedge, but not happy. Has she turned it over? Yeah, she has. Well, it’s still a very makeable birdie putt, but you can see by her standards wasn’t happy. Simaka from Sorry, Kate. Simaka from 89 yards. Just seen that Luna Sabbron G has hit one in beautifully to within seven feet. So a couple of birdie opportunities coming out from Boutier’s team. Tall Shard 87 yards just a 54 degree. Oh, what happened there? That’s a poor shot from the Australian Boutier. I expect this one to be close with her wedge play 83 yds. Well, it is about that I think for Nuria’s only at 18. She’s given herself an uphill putt at least, but there’ll be plenty of movement in that one coming up for the Morcan. It’s going to be a putt there though for a round of 66. Very good couple of days for Nura. Yeah, she’s had three top fives this season, but did miss the cut on her last start at the PIF London Championship. Team Alexander, you’d say, only with an outside chance of making any progress there at 18. Looks like they’re going to come up shy despite an excellent effort there. 29 under part. Really good scoring from them today. 18 under for their second round. Nurio’s been part of the winning team in the US. She was part of team Busan Bousard with Trish Johnson as well when they won a couple of years ago. You can see she’s going best individually of the four players here. It’s going to be Noilio to put first. Quite a quick put this one, Kate. They are. And especially if it’s down green as well. They’re rolling about 11 and a half on the stimp. They can get up to 14, which uh we certainly don’t want to have that because uh that will render the course nearly unplayable. course superintendent Nick Johnson can get this course in great shape especially at the beginning of the week when there were torrential downpours. So a slippery bat for Nabilio but it is for a birdie to get to five under and to add yet another birdie to that allimportant team score that she is in. So it’s to get to 30 under just swung left at the end. Well, she just had two piles in a row. Is it time for birdie number 10 of this fantastic second round for Carlotta? Oh, it was right on line. Needed a little bit more. Well, there will be a couple of good chances to come. you feel at 8 and nine but the round has just hit the handbrake a little bit hasn’t it 11 under part she was in the final group for the final round in London just a month ago did miss the cut last week at the FM championship on the LPJ tour at TPC Boston unlikely that Alexander will lead this one short thrives in competition ition this player young South African and a big week for her individually as well. Fifth on the order of merit she would love to get herself amongst the challenges for the rankings. Oh, what a great effort. She thought she had that about two three feet out. What a year it’s been for Cassie that 62 in the final round when she won the Tip Sport Czech Ladies Open earlier in the season. And to think that she had to take eight weeks off after tearing her ACL earlier in the year. She’s come back, played brilliantly, a real fixture and a real asset to the ladies European tour. And talking of comebacks, should mention Charlie Hullback after her ankle ligament damage. She’s level par today, so still three under. Wouldn’t rule her out just yet. She’s only got four holes to play of her second round. She is on the other side of the golf course. So this to post the individual clubhouse lead. This for a 66. Lovely looking putt just a couple of rolls short from Nura. uphill putt had the line not enough but still she’ll take a measure of pride in this second round. 67 for Nura right in the hump going into Sunday. You can see the expression on her face. She knew she had it. She had the line. Well, she says she’s been working hard on her swing on her the mental side of the games. Wants to get more consistent. Well, that’s a good first couple of days, isn’t it? 6867 and in the mix. Well, Boutier has a bird about to move to five under in the individual battle, but also they are very much part of the conversation. They’re 25 under. They are four shots back, but they have got holes in hand. They are only just starting their back nine. Oh, and that swung a lot. Yeah, at the moment just feel like players like Boutier, Charlie Hull I just mentioned just stuck in neutral a little bit given what else is going on around the golf course. Yeah, and her playing partners as well haven’t made a birdie in the last couple of holes. They need some fireworks on the back nine. This for par for Utama not a birdie as it says in trouble off the tea. But that is a wonderful up and down from the sand to get her for. Hard work for she will miss the cut though. She won’t be in tomorrow’s final round. And that means team Alexander set the clubhouse pace at 29 underpar. It’s unlikely to be enough but a very good second round effort nonetheless. So confirmation team Alexander 29 under pass sharing the lead. Team Kuska who still have uh seven holes to complete but all these teams below them really are very much in the mix. Look at team Boutier. Little quiet for them at the moment but they’re only four back and then on the individual side of things. Nuria Turios with that round of 67 at the moment. Sharing second place with Mimi Roads Carto Saganda with two to play nine under for her round. The world number 30 leading by two. Well, this is all shaping up rather nicely. We have a great looking individual leaderboard. Carlotta Saganda currently owning day two, 11 under par for her round. I mean, we were looking at a 59 a few moments ago, but she’s had a string of pars. has come back down to earth temporarily, but she was out in 30 and then picked up three birdies early on on her back nine. So, two shot advantage over her compatriate Nurio Tulio, who’s in the clubhouse now, 67. Her day is done, but she’ll have a lot of confidence coming in to Sunday. And then other good scores as well. There’s Nastasia Nadau, Ashley Laauo had a good day yesterday. Polymat on the longest hitters on tour. Cassie Alexander also done a 68 for Cassie. Winner this year, five under. Well, we are in Texas for the very first time. What a pleasure it is to be here wherever you’re joining us around the world. Let’s check in now with Sara Kuska. Team Kuska and just leaving that short has a share of the lead on 29 under par in the team event. 15 under they are today. Holes in hand as well but that one just hitting the brakes early for Kuska. So the new clubhouse target 30 underpar. Will it be eclipsed? You can see there the holes in hand for Kuska, team Roads, team Gainer. They’re only three shots shy. There’s six holes remaining. And let’s join Kabori, part of Shannon Tan’s team. It’s been a struggle today for Kabori, who’s five under. Tim Tan. Well, they started off so promisingly, but they’re only seven under par today, but they have got the back nine 23. Seven a drift right now, but amazing. We had a couple of eagles on the back nine yesterday from the likes of Selene Boutier. So, if there’s a couple of eagles from the players, that’s four shots picked up. Remember, it’s the two best scores on each hole to count in the team competition. So the score ball can change very quickly. It can on this hole too. The easiest hole on the golf course. Sarah Burn has 202 ys to the front edge. Pins at the front. Oh, distance not a problem, Sophie, but direction a fraction right for Burn. You can see there’s a heart on her sleeve, doesn’t she? We got Mimi Roads in the front left bunker. Napoli over just on the back edge. Her band turned it off the tea here trying to dig one out through the trees. There’s a gap at the front of the green. Oh, that was nearly a great shot. Yeah, that’s going to be uh awkward though. The draw will be useful on this par is a dog leg left. That shape has worked out very nicely indeed for Boutier. a screen on the right hand side showing you the route that the players are going to take. It’s quite a sharp dog leg on the 11th today. Playing 387 yards to a slightly elevated green as well protected by bunkers. A dog dog leg right to left. Run out is 260. Turn one from right to left off this T- box. Yeah, that’s a good shape there from Simaka. Yep. Hey, in a way they know that what happened yesterday, don’t they? I mean, it was quite a quiet start from them in the opening half a dozen holes yesterday, but they certainly put their foot down as a team on this back nine. This team really needing something to happen now. wanting to hug the left hand side here. That’s another good shape. I wonder when the old clubs are going to turn up. Having lost them on Monday for Luna. A new set was put together ahead of the first round. Well, Danielle Kang was saying she went to the UK for a month. She never had her clubs the whole month. They didn’t turn up at all. And a lot of these players have put Apple Air Tags on their club so they know exactly where they are. Trying to get them is a whole different matter. But uh the mystery continues. She going to hopefully have two sets soon. I don’t know whether it’s a good idea to have the Apple Air tag because then you know where they are, but if they’re just sitting on the tarmac at Heathrow, you know they’re not going anywhere when they should be on a flight. Maybe it’s peace of mind. Well, earlier this week there was a ceremonial tree planting as all part of the trees for Houston this week. Ramco and Golf Crest Country Club as part of their pledge to supporting biodiversity and ecology within Houston particle, the tournament is going to plant andor give us the ability to distribute five trees throughout the greater Houston region. It’s my first time planting a tree, so I’m very excited. It’s always nice to have the golf courses to be able to contribute in a nice way to the environment as well. So, we we teach volunteers what to do and kind of how to do it. They feel real accomplished when it’s when it’s all said and done. Hopefully, we plan a lot more with this birdie for trees initiative. So, we wish all the players a lot of luck getting birdies. I’m looking forward to coming back here next time and be like, “Oh, hey, I planted that tree.” Our mission is pretty simple to plant, protect, and promote trees across the greater Houston region. Trees for Houston there with Abby Clark, the director of development, events, and stewardship at Trees for Houston. And there’s an initiative this week at the 14th hole. So, for every birdie or every eagle, trees will be planted in the Houston area. It’s five trees for every birdie, 10 trees for every eagle. And as you can see already on day two, we’ve hit the 400 mark. So, well done to all the players on the ED for getting plenty of those birdies and a couple of eagles. Sitting Beauty got one of those yesterday at 14. Aramco supported trees for Houston now for five years. So it’s all part of their wider support. This is at the 14th hole where team roads are right now. Sophie Walker watching there. We going to see a few more trees planted from the efforts of this group. Yeah, I think so. I mean, we’ve got an eagle look from Napoli over and then we’ve got three birdie looks inside 12 ft. Burns slightly further away with her attempt. She found the right bunker and uh was caught in a ridge. It came out quite flat and ran about 12 ft past the hole. Mi roads played a delightful one from the front left bunker and it just skimmed past the hole. So she’s got inside six feet. Christina just said to me, “Oh, I didn’t think that would get there.” And the fact that she’s on the back edge of the green just shows how far the golf ball is going in this warm weather. And we’ve got a slight northeasterly wind which means it’s downwind on 14 today where it was into yesterday. So, she’s right where the pin was on that first round. It’ll break from left to right and then that’ll straighten up at the end and it’s downhill. Just a little firm I think from the Czech player there. Look at that one go. That’s disappointing. She’s already had two eagles this week. The hole in one at five yesterday, the hole out at four today. Plenty of work now to try and make the birdie four. She is five under for her round. She is certainly one of those that’s made a a day two move. Who’s next to go here, Sophie? It’ll be Sarah. As I say, the bunker shot came out flat. She does have quite a flat ball flight. It’s a very short, quick swing. kind of matches her personality. But I think the reason it came out low is she was just in one of those ridges, you know, where you have to drive on bunker rakers, the machinery. She was caught in that. So this one will move from left to right. Well, guarded this front flag here for a birdie. Well, Burns the left edge of the hole, but no birdie for Sarah. Carter missed the green at the par 38. Saganda hasn’t missed much all day long, but that is a rare miscreen there for Saganda today. Remember, if you’re just joining us, she is setting the course of light. Nine under for the round. A little bit of work to do there on her penultimate hole. Back to 14 and a longer putt for birdie than Napolea would have been hoping for. Indeed, none of them birded to the 10th hole, the par five. So for the team and individual got to start making some on these par fives. That’s not done with just yet either. So team roads remain 28 under. It’s been a little bit of a team change actually in the score for team Alexander. They’ve actually been marked down as 30 underpar as opposed to 29 under. There was a a birdie from uh um birdie in the end. It was from Otama on 18. So when we were told she was in the bunker playing a third shot, that was actually her second her second shot. So, wow. That was made an excellent three. There’s the target. Selene Airban now with her attempt for Birdie. The chip shot. She opted for a lob and it came out dead on her because the ball was sat down in the roots of the Bermuda. to this one. She’s looking couple of inches outside right for her for likes it in quickly as well. Knew it before it even dived into the hole. Hello. Caddying as well. Oh, good old lab putter. So, another tree or another birdie adds five more trees to the total. Up to 405 now. They’re going to be planted across Houston, I believe. That’s right. Yeah, that’s a big city. They’re going to need a lot of trees. Well, it’s a big old state, isn’t it? Texas. Yeah. 861 golf courses in Texas. inside right here for Rose for a sandy save birdie. Well, the putter certainly behaved for her yesterday, but it’s gone a little quiet for her today. Three birdies, no drop shots, but a real missed opportunity there at 14. So, the team moved to just 29 under. That was for a share of the team lead. Saganda with this to avoid her first drop shot of the day. And it is the first blue number for Saganda. She was marching up and heading towards a 59. We were getting very excited in the commentary box. Certainly when she was only a few holes ago, she had already collected nine birdies. But now back to eight under for the day. still maintains her lead by one shot over It. Well, this is for a third part putt on this 14th green for Napolea. Okay, well done. So any ban adds to their total there. Scotland’s Kelsey McDonald here at 18. Needs to give this enough. Oh, and she has. Lovely fist pump there from Kelsey McDonald. And that gives her a chance of making the cut. Birdie birdie finish for a round of 71. Leaves her at one over par. You would think it might be one short, but nicely done nonetheless from Kelsey, who’s part of team Nado. Nastasia, by the way, going very nicely herself. Yeah, team 25 underpar. They have finished. So, they aren’t going to win, but look, could be a top 10 finish in the team stakes. Back down towards this 14th fairway, team Kuscover. The next coming up here Sophie Kibs Nielson reachable in two and it’s what we want to see on these par fives coming down the stretch. 467 today Sophie not enjoying that T-shot that approach. Oh, tugged it left. See the third shot to come. that front hole location. You need height on the second shot to get it in close, especially when you’re coming in with heavy artillery like a 3-wood, which is what Kuska has in her hand. Oh, just caught the front and fortunately fell back into the bunker for Kuska. A yard more and that could have been very good indeed. Can the third player in this group get close? Fallen victim to that front bunker as well. Yeah, not quite for April there. The last PIF Global Series event came from London. Mano Royoy was amongst the contenders there and then followed that up with a top five finish on the LPGA tour. So she’s been in great form and there’s more example of that gorgeous shot at the final hole of the day for her. Hopefully pop that in, get herself to three under par. Team doy, one of those teams that have been going well today. Ursula Vickstrom, a chance to check in with her. Three over par right now. Oh, and that’s a superb approach into 17. Part of team finale who at the moment 26 under par back to 14. Anna Velats. Two playing partners are in the front bunker. The other one is long left. Cracking drive down the middle of the fairway for Anna. little hybrid in her. Maybe a five would. If she can get the height, then she can get it close. Needs to land softly. Well, she’s having a good day today. Anna got herself back to 400 par up and down there to try and push further on. Help the team cause as well. Back to 18 with the big hitting Poly Mack dancing next to the pin for Polly. Well, the team side of things starting to take shape. Nothing more that team Alexander can do. That birdie at the last round. Cheese Otama setting them to 30 under par. But team roads, team Kuska just one back and team Kuska right now playing that 14th. First uh mistake of the day from Carlotta Saganda means her lead is down to just the one shot now over her compatriate. Nura Tur is done for the day with that 67 and Mimi Roads. Confirmation it was a 68 from Nastasia Nadau player who’s just outside the top 10 on the ladies European tour rankings saw that shot in from Polymac 68 today as well from Cassandra Alexander and Charlie Hull has made some progress she’s got herself up to five underpar just birded the sixth hole final hole of the day for Carlotta Siganda and we’ve seen that front right flag is uh it’s very getable but maybe a little close to the greens. Carlotta well when she did it she won the rankings in the order of merit it was a rarity but it seems to be happening every year now winning the order of merit and rookie of the year. Yes, that was all the way back in 2012. also the players player of the year. What has happened in world golf since then Vickstrom? Well, this is a birdie that will help but at the moment wants to make it through to Sunday and that projected cut is at even par. There is green to work with but oh that came out hot from Kibgard. We’re coming down the 18th right now. Team D do Roy. We know Mannon herself is in close for a birdie chance. Daniela Da who finished second in London rolls in one at 18. So that gives them a chance, doesn’t it? takes them to 29 under par. Daniela from Ecuador moving to minus three individually. Back to 14. But that’s here through the back of the green. This is team Kuskova and has had seven birdies already today. can hardly buy a birdie yesterday. She had 35 putts in her round. It’s never going to be profitable. She didn’t have any three putts either. So, it’s not often you have 35 putts in your round without a three putt. Two putted every green bar the 17th. Unless she hit 18 greens as Nilio Tulio did yesterday and hence why she had that great score. More greens you hit, you’re going to tend to have more parts. If you miss a lot of greens, you’re going to have fewer parts cuz you’re looking to get up and down. Seven birdies today though suggests things have gone a little better. It is quick, but I’m not sure it’s that quick down the slope for the Slovenian. Decelerated on that. Well, such an inviting par five this 14th hole. Get a ball in two today. This team though, too short in the bunker, too long. Very nice touch then from April. I don’t think the bunkers were that deep. Got Laura Escalon there on the bag, a player who’s played herself on the Ladies European tour, helping her out of the bunker. April, it’s hard to believe, is it? Well, April’s still 21. She’s been a pro six years. Turned pro at the age of 15 because of her two wins already this year. Really has been a breakout season. Second on the rankings, although the player top in the rankings is going even better on the leaderboard. Well, that’s a poor shot by Kuska’s standards. Very quietly spoken, isn’t she? Look at the different personalities that occupy the front page of the leaderboard. They all bring something very unique. Some are very effevescent, very talkative. Others stay in their own lane. This player, well, Mimi Rhodess, three wins already. very nonchalant. When you talk to her, you think she’s been out there for years. 163 yards to the flag protected by a small slope before it. Sophie, that was a mammoth up there. I’m getting confused here. I’m thinking that was the 14th. Of course, just an iron in on 15. What’s um what’s Mimi been like today? Great round yesterday of 66. Hey, look, Kate. I mean, she’s struggling in this heat, but she only said yesterday she’s a sweaty person, so she’s got constantly the towel that’s getting passed to her by Douggee to try and dry her hands out. Um, she’s been walking slightly, you know, awkwardly, like she’s walking on broken glass at times. Um, but yeah, I think it’s been good in this team environment. It’s been keeping her mind off the blisters. Sunglasses going back up. She’s a bit like Charlie Hall, isn’t she? Right next up, Selene. Her band. She’s got 153. Hates it. Couple of grassy swales. Short of 15. It’s got into one of them. Back to 14 after chipping through here. Kibs Gore Nielson for the birdie. Just keeping an eye on the cut line. It still sticks at level par at the moment. Carlottus Aandanda down the left hand side of this ninth hole. A final hole of what had been an excellent day. Little bit of a sticky finish at the moment from the Soheim Cup start. There’s a front pin as well. Looked like she had a clear view. settle down. Oh, come on. Sit, sit, sit. Well, it will hold up. That grass is quite thick at the back of nine, but clearly had to hit more of a punch shot. Unable to toss it up high and get the spin that she needed to nestle it close. Yeah, Carlotta opened up a little bit of a gap at the top, but needs to get up and down to remain in the solo lead. Bellat after that poor chip shot. Lengthy one for birdie at 14. Not to be first Slovenian to play on the LPGA tour. She was actually the player of the year on the Epson Tour a few years back. Sarah Burns playing on that tour right now. Nice looking swing. just nestled down against the collar there for the Irish woman. Kuska, it’s for a birdie and it would certainly help the team scorecard. They’re right in the mix. Well, no birdies amongst them so far. We know April’s got a great chance. Only one back. 30 under is the target. They’re currently on 29. I mean, this is the type of hole, Richard, where you could pick up two eagles and pick up four shots on the field. Hasn’t happened to this group. It’s reachable in two the par five. Funny game though, isn’t it? What you think will happen isn’t always so. It’s a lovely community here. There’s an awful lot of families that are members of Golf Crest. Several of them, many of them were out this morning in the tented village just around the corner from the clubhouse. But a lot of real estate lining the fairways. Well, we’ve been hearing from some of the contenders out on the golf course this afternoon. I think we can hear another players going along nicely. Cara Gainner with Gabby. Well, Cara, welcome to the 30s club. It was only two weeks ago you celebrated your birthday. I want to know how you celebrated. Come on. Well, I’m actually always 29, so I hope you weren’t going to bring that up, but um yeah. Yeah. No, I had a few days off with family and uh had some time with my mom and my sister, a little spa day which was really fun. Um and then we had a nice family dinner in the evening and then had some time with friends as well the next day. You know what they say about your 30s. Well, supposedly the best year, best days of our lives, but I mean I was just going to say 29 wasn’t too bad, was it? You got your maiden le win and you know at one stage at your very first Evian you were co-leading at one point. So what do you expect from your 30s? Come on. Yeah, I mean obviously I’m a little bit older and sort of in the experienced time of life. Um but no, I’m I’m sort of yeah, just trying to go with the flow and hope to keep a bit of momentum that I’ve sort of began the the beginning of the year with. Yeah, we’re second stage of the season, but you got loads to look forward to in your personal life too, don’t you? Yeah, exactly. Yeah, getting married in December. So, um that’s exciting. Lots of things to do and plan for that. Uh but yeah, I want to have a strong finish of the year. So, that’s super important to me. So, I’m just hoping I can keep it up. Yeah, of course. just quit as a golfer. You’re obviously a very talented tennis player at the US Open is on at the women’s. Are we going to catch her? Absolutely. Yeah. I was actually really gutted yesterday that we didn’t I didn’t get a Novak match. Um because I was obviously a great matchup, but um to Sabalena, I think they’re so see when we get in who wins. Not a bad thing being good at everything, is it? Anyway, I’ll leave you to Thank you. should comment on Gabby’s hat as well. He really has gone in for the Texan look today. Yeah, I got that for her. Yeah. Did you? Y very generous of you as April knocks in the birdie park there and takes team Kuska into a share of the lead. High five from the captain now. Suganda at the back of her closing hole looking to avoid another drop shot here. Delicately played. Beautifully played. That’s a really fabulous touch from the Spaniard. That’s lovely. Good experience there. Visualized the shot, saw where to land it and where it would roll out. I should say I chose the hat, but I didn’t pay for it. Somebody else did. That’s a slightly different Oh, very different. I’m very good at spending money. Other people. Oh, very exceptional at that. Yeah. One of my favorite pastimes just southeast of uh Houston here of course opened up in the 1920 has changed quite a bit since uh a century ago when this place first saw some golf. It got redesigned by Joe Finger who’s a a renowned architect around these parts. Up to 15 then with team roads. Mimi hit a great shot in and just released to this back edge. So nobody is in for their birdie. She’s high above the hole. This one is down the hill to start with and will come off the brow of the bunker from right to left and then hold its line coming in. Captain for Birdie. That was for team roads to get into a share of the lead. Well, the course record as far as we’re aware around here is uh 65 in the women’s side of things. Adela shooting that in the US women’s open qualifier here last year but this is for a round of 64 for Carlo to Saganda and the clubhouse individual lead exceptional and it’s a new tournament scoring record of 64, eclipsing Mimi Rhodess’s excellent number yesterday of 66. Well, what a way to put her foot down and enjoy the lead. One shot it is right now 64 in the clubhouse, but look at that back nine, which was the the back n she tackled first after starting on the 10th out in 30. We got a bit excited talking about a 59, didn’t we? through 12 holes. But it sets the platform for Carlotta Saganda for the opportunity to win for the fifth season in a row on the Ladies European Tour. She’s already got a win this year in the United States back in the winner circle on the LPGA tour. But that was a score worthy of her class and at the moment she is the one to catch in the individual side of things that will conclude tomorrow at this Aramco Houston championship. She won this event in Florida in 2023 and Carlo Saganda out in front by one from Nura Aturios Mimi Roads and Darcy Harry making a move on the other side of the course. She has just birdied the first and second. Another rookie going well, the Welsh woman who won at the Hulenort Women’s Open back in June. Confirmation on the team side of things. It’s team Alexander still in the clubhouse lead. Team Kuska alongside them, but plenty of other teams still in with a chance. Yeah, nothing more that team Saganda can do. They finish at 27 underpart. Even those at 25 under like team Vanam and team Boutier are not out of things. Well, it’s a tasty looking leaderboard, but this is a horrible looking position for Sara Kuskova. I think you could say she’s a little stumped by what she has to do here. And certainly styied. There’s either going to be a vicious snap hook. That’s the way she’s looking at it. Or whether she’s going to punch it down or the conservative shot would just be to bump it back out onto the fairway. Problem is short right of the green on 15. You’ve got a lot of grassy swailes and that is not a good place to be. There you can see them on the right hand side of your screen. She’s going to entertain us here. Yeah. So, she’s going to aim her feet right and shut the club face and swing along the line of her feet. And that’s going to make the ball move significantly from right to left. I think she’s warning our camera operator down there just to be careful. Watch out for this one. We don’t want any broken lenses. You can see her rehearsing exactly what you were saying there, Kate. Got to commit. Well, she obviously fancies it. Yeah, feeling confident enough. Plenty of risk to this. Oh, is it going to hit that cart path? Maybe. It didn’t turn an awful lot. What is the third shot going to be like? We’ve talked about this course being treelined. Has she got a clear view of the green? Well, Cara didn’t seem happy about being called 30. So, Vickstrom now 45. So, one of the eldest out on the Ladies European tour, but she’s still got it. What a fabulous birdie that is as well. And you never know, individually that might be enough to make the cut. She’s got some fans out there as well. Hey, 45 is very young, Richard. Tell me about it. Okay. Well, yeah. Excellent. part of team finale. So adds to their score. That takes them to 29 under. Well, there’s no problems for Sophie Gibs. Straight down the middle of the fairway, but not able to get the check that she would have liked. April anguraani next to go here also chasing it through the back for young April. Oh, if you wonder why she’s called April, it’s because she was uh born in April. Her brother’s called August. And funnily enough, you can guess what month he was born in. Boutier now at the 13th, straight down the middle. Definitely longer this year by five yards. If you pay close attention to the stats, just having that proximity to the hole, coming in with shorter clubs, able to get more control, it makes a difference. Back to 15 and as she has been for much of the day, hitting in last. Here is Anna Balatz certainly going the best of uh this quartet today. The Slovenian player is this one’s going a little left. Just caught off the slope there. So, not too bad. Yeah. Getting to the part of the day now where the tension will rise a little. Team Alexander have done what they can do. It’s unlikely to be enough, but at the moment, no one’s gone above them. This one’s heading down the trees down that left side for Zimmer. Part three 16th Sarah Burn part of team roads off the back of a drop shot 167 back into some breeze seven I into a back right flag they could do with a couple of birdies Sophie can’t they three holes to play it’s the best two scores on each hole count and they are one shot shy of the lead that’s currently held by Kuskar on 30 under and Alexander who’s Cassie Alexander’s team who are in the clubhouse they can score no more. We’ll back with Sophie in a minute. There was a ball pretty close there. We’ll find out who that is in a moment. Back to the tea at 13 with Luna Sabbron. That’s a much better line from the Spanish player who’s just seen her individual challenge stall a little on this Saturday in Texas. So shot number three here for Sarra Kuska. Does she have to battle with the trees this time? She does. She’s got she’s got the tree in a way. So, it’s going to be interesting to see how she plays this. Whether she decides to take corn low and go straight at the pin or whether she just plays the bigger part of the green to the right, which for me is the play, but she still is going to have to keep it pretty low. Also has to carry a big dip short of this green because if the pitch is short, it’s going to stay short. Amy, it was an interesting choice of second shot. She was trying to snap hook it. Ended up scuttling down to here. And just looking at this shot, that grass just short of the green. Anything that goes in there isn’t going to jump out. No, exactly. And I think when she pitches this on the front of the green, it is going to shoot probably over the back of the green. So, you got to try and get a good connection on this one. It did hit the tree there, didn’t it? Yeah. There’s also caught up with one of those grassy swailes. A real feature on this hole. Very quickly momentary laps of concentration. You can rack up a number. Come back to that. Matty Torchard. This on 13. Straight down the middle for the 23 year old. So Kusco hasn’t lost a turn here. Well, the good news about this shot, she’s got plenty of green to work with. She has got a fluffy lie, though. She’s on the up slope. She’s going to want to pitch this just less than halfway up the green and get it releasing back to that pin. Got to be aggressive when you’re in this rough. getting closer. But that now is a part for a bogey for Kuska. Uh when you look at the number of birdies that have been sprinkled over this Golf Crest course today, you really don’t want to be dropping shots. And that’s a lengthy bogey part to come. We’re just off the back edge of number 15. Need to play this nice and delicately. Yeah, that’s what she’s done. It’s almost like a little lull here just before the frenzy of the finale that’s coming up. We’re going off to the par 31 16th. This is team roads. Her banners chipped up so she’s got about two and a half feet left for her par which means these three birdie chances they can have a go. They’re one back at the moment. First up is roads looking down the left hand side. Oh, it was a good attempt from Mimi. Well, she’s currently one behind Carlotta Saganda. Two holes to play. Her three wins this year, the last of which came in the Netherlands, have all been when either leading on her own or sharing the lead going into the final round. Although she came into commentary earlier this year and said she is a very happy chaser. But the way she’s won so far on the less suggests she’s pretty handy when she’s out in front going into the last day as well. It’s a remarkable confidence that she has being a rookie. Remember only an amateur last year, but to come out and capture three victories and with the maturity that she has black from left to right for Birdie. Yeah, just didn’t turn as much as Annabalatz was hoping for there. So, team Kuskava looks like they’re going to remain at 30 under tied for the top of the team leaderboard with team Alexander. Remind people joining us all the time. So, the two best scores in the team of four count. The team event concludes today. Team road Sarah Burn also a really good try, but also just going to be a par three like Mimi Roads. Back to 15. Took a drop from the sprinkler. This is going to be downhill moving from left to right. needs to go. Well, this hole it’s proven to be a bit of a headache. It looks straightforward enough off the tea, but the problem is that right hand side always need bunkers to defend a golf course and to trick it up. That grassy swale on the right has captured many golfers this week and it’s also quite an undulating green. But uh for Sarra Kuska, Amy, it hasn’t been a good hole so far and this is a pup for a five. Now, in my opinion, this is one of the toughest holes out here. It’s a tough driving hole anyway. There’s trees left and right that stick out. So, you’ve got to really be center of the fairway to have a good angle at this green. But this now for par for Cusco for bogey. Sorry, my mistake. Should move from right to left. Well, it’s an expensive hole for Sara. Double bogey six. We’ll take her back to three under par after such a spectacular finish to the front nine as she celebrated that eagle too. Two over now for the back nine. And in her bid to win the order of merit, she’ll be very aware that the player ahead of her, Mimi Rhodess, is riding contention. It’s amazing. It should mimi looking for win number four of the year. Sar Kuska with two wins this year on the LPGA tour. There hasn’t been one double winner all year. What is it? 24 different champions in 23 events, including the Dow Pairs event. Never happened before on the LPGA tour. That in for a par for the Dane. So 30 under remains the number surprisingly. Team Kuska stuck on that score. Team Alexander nothing more they can do but there are three teams just a single stroke behind. Team doy done for the day. Team roads with two to play. And we heard from Cara Gaina, her team going along pretty nicely and picked up a couple of shots at that par five 14th. We look a little bit further down the leaderboard and well, team Tan, Team Booty, and team Vanam are not out of it. They’re only five shots behind and they do have holes on their side. 26 teams in total in the team side of things at this Aramco Houston Championship. Carlotta Saganda done for the day. A round of 64 from her. It’s a Spanish one two at the top of the leaderboard. Although Mimi Rhodess alongside Nura Turios at nine under Well, the defending champion you saw there at the bottom of the page there, Lexi Ferlin. Good to see some form from Lexi, who’s struggled a little bit with injury. She’s just birded three of her last four holes. So, she’s got herself to six under part. Kiara Tambellini at 4 under par. Nice to see Leon Han backing up her efforts at the Hills Open in Sweden. Get herself inside the top 20. It was going a little better for Amy Taylor, but she slipped back to four under par alongside Selene Boutier. Saw Mooney her part of that tree ceremony in the Houston for trees. First for her this week, planting a tree. She could be here a while. There’s about 460 that need planting. I don’t think she’s going to do the rest. Oh, is she not? Just the just the first one. I mean, she’s a good sort. I know she’s very enthusiastic and a big fan of these events, but that might be a bit much. As you can see, the cut line, if anything, maybe pushing towards one under rather than one over and so the one overs you feel don’t really have a chance. Now, April and Gurusani then on the 16th T. They’re being watched by Amy Balden. 167 yards this par three is playing today. Pin is 12 on. It’s tucked only four yards from the right of the green. Need to carry the bunker. Minimum carry is 160. Charlie Hull on her final hole of the day. Off to a tough start, but she’s finishing well. It’s round a 69. Oh, she’s got it as well. And it gives her a sniff of a chance. You know, she’s only four back on the comeback trail after her ankle ligament damage. first event since runner-up finish at the Women’s Open. And you certainly wouldn’t get a bet against Charlie Hull. That lead can disappear very quickly and she’s got the playing power and the ability to shoot a very low score tomorrow. Don’t count her out. 16th T. Anna Batz. Hey, Tyan. Go straight at this. There’s a little bowl feeds towards the pin. safely on board from Anna. 167 yards today. Don’t want to go long of this green. There’s a down slope just past this pin which will feed further away from the green. Minimum carry 160. A seven penilson. Well, the overnight leaders team Bier. Still stuck at 25 under par. Well, the sun is starting to come out now on the 13th as we watch Selene Boutier. Oh, try and secure another birdie. It dropped. I did see in the shot in the sh in the sun. It did drop in. It thought about it and snuck in the side door. So, Boutier needs some birdies on the back nine. Certainly in her own quest and also for the team. They’re very much in contention. And she’s three under for the day, five under for the championship. Now I wonder whether you were to talk about the the birdie there. Kuska now, minimum carry of 160. Looking straight at this one. Yeah, that’s beautifully done after the double bogey. There was nothing else but the flag on her mind with that one. Team Kuska tied for the lead. Team Boutier making some progress then a little further back. I think you were in between as well. Yeah, so a little bit of the team vibe going on there. Yeah, Charlie Hull finishing at six under par. When she started 56, you just wondered whether she was going to play a way out of it, but four back and we all know the Charlie charge on a Sunday is something we’ve seen very often. That’s for the individual event to come tomorrow. We’re still very much with our eyes on the team side of things. Christina Napole here. I think for the past half an hour this team one shot back 103 yards plays two up. We’ve got a front left pin and it will all kick from right to left as you hit the green. That’s the lightful from Napolei Alva. That gives them a really good look at a birdie to get into a share of the lead. Looks like Selene Airban is next. Sure is. She has 93 yards and knows now that from the fairway she can take this pit on a gap wedge. And it’s a solid gap wedge as well. That’s a lovely shot from Urban. Well, looking good here for team roads. It is. And we’ve got Mimi next. And Sarah Burns has nearly hit the green. So, um, yeah, this could get quite interesting. Irish player hit it 300 yards straight across the water. So, she’s got 44 pin. Roads hand came off the club, was slightly anxious, tugged it, but it carried the water. no issue. Which means she’s left herself 83 yards. This flag’s on seven. And you can see the bottom of the pin now. It’s on the left hand side. When it’s back right, you can’t. The bunker blocks it out. She can see two white golf balls in there tight. There’s the marker set. Let’s see if roads can hit this lob wedge in eight. Couple of huge drives. Well, it’s another delightful shot from the Ladies European Tour number one, Mimi Roads. We’ll have that to get into a share of the individual lead and simultaneously a share of the team lead. Yeah, very exciting. I going to come back to that drive of Sarah Burns in a second, but a driver of 300 yds. That was a tiger line. That was huge. Don’t rule out team Boutier just yet. This one down the right side from Seline in amongst the trees. Team Booty up to 27 under right now. So they’re just three back off to 16. From across the green at 16, Anna Belatch coming up shy. That hit the brakes early on. Part of Sarah Sarah Kuska’s team. Well, that was a second shot for Sarah Burn. And you’d have to say there are two birdies coming up. There could be four birdies coming up from this team, but only two can count as far as the team score are concerned. And that would be good enough to take team roads clear at the top. Yep. 30 under has set the mark. Three teams on 30 under. Alle team Alexander, team Walsh, and team Kuska. And here we find the captain Sarus Sarah Kuska. This at the 16th. This is for a birdie. Well, they are one of the teams that vying for the lead. Team Kuskova at the moment. They’re stuck at this 30 under power mark. Matty Tolshard on 14th. A good drive here. Sets you up to get home. And two on the par five. That’s a solid strike from the Australian. Part one of the equation done. Well, this is a very interesting situation. I can tell you team Walsh on the other side of the course. They’ve just picked up two shots at the seven. Moa Faler who’s having an amazing day and Lauren Walsh have both picked up birdie. So you can see they’re in a tie for the lead now at 30 under par. Team Alexander done for the day at 30 under par. Team Kuska no progress at 16. They’re 30 under par. But Sophie, you’d expect they’re all going to get leaprogged here by team roads. Yeah. The question is Richard, who goes first? Who makes those two out of four? Mimi is what? 5 ft away. Grain is just going to want to pull this one down the left hand side. Shouldn’t have to worry about the pace. It’s downhill. Play this one left edge if you hitting it firmer and then outside right if you’re going to try and dribble this one in. So this for a share of the lead in both the team and the individual for team roads and Mimi roads. Well, she’s missed a few, hasn’t she? Mimi, today about the putter and how uh how hard she’s been working on that. Amazing how can change in a day. come back to that group with their birdie attempts. But that was a very good birdie attempt at a make from Chanokan or now known as April and Kurasarin. So that takes team Kuska up to uh 30 under par back on 14T Luna Brangz. Good looking strike that one from the player from Morca. 83% on the energy meter. And that’ll be good to get a couple of birdies here on the 14th for this team. They are currently on 27 under pass. So they’re three back. Yeah, but team Kusco, haven’t they just moved to 31 under with that birdie from April? Well, you had a couple of Eagles on 14 yesterday. Back to 17. Birdie chances now. Yes. So, another team moved to 30 under. Another birdie putt to come yet though. That green or another couple of birdie putts, aren’t there? But this for team Kuska to add to their total. So just to remind you, team Kuska have moved to 31 under par. Team Walsh, one of those one shot back at 30 under par. Lauren Walsh. Moa Falker going really well. But this is Moa Falker par 38. Sorry, Sophie Bringner, I should say, at the par 38. We’re not going to see Sophie tomorrow, but certainly contributing to the team score. Remember, best two scores on each hole count. It’s another birdie putt. It’s a tid up for Urban and no problems whatsoever. So, Urban who is part of Mimi Road’s team go into a share of the lead at 31 under par alongside team Kuska. As you say, don’t rule out team Boutier yet, even though they are at the bottom of that page at 27 under par four back holes to play as there is for team Vanam. Team Walsh making a bit of a charge as well. Nothing more that team Alexander can do. You would feel their chances have disappeared, but there’s still five or six teams that could win this yet. Meanwhile, in the individual side of things, Mimi Rhodess missing out of that chance to join Carlo to Saganda at the top of the leaderboard, missing that birdie opportunity at the 17th. And what a day it’s turning out to be for Christina Napole. 20 121st on the Ladies European Tour rankings, but up to seven under par. Look at Charlie Hull there tied for sixth as she actually was at the start of the day. Back to max 69s for the world number 10. Just four shots separating the top 12 players and Vanam keeping herself in with a chance. Dutch woman’s just birded the par five 14th and a much better day today for Helen Bream. Round a 65 for the talented teenage German. This is team Walsh. Labariki Abby chipping down and almost in the American player. There’s only a handful of them this week. This being a ladies European tour sanctioned event. First time in America. Oh, sorry, in Houston, I should say. This team vaulting up the leaderboard mostly courtesy of the birdies that Moa Fala made on her front line when she went out in 29. She did record a double bogey on one of the easier holes on the front line, the the third par five. So, it’s come back down to earth. But still Murf Fulka adding many birdies to this team score and that’s why they find themselves right at the very top. Now it’s Kuska 31 under. Is that going to be enough at the end of the day to secure victory for the team? You would have to think that other teams like Caraina’s team 29 under. They’ve got four holes remaining. They have a very good chance as well. Walsh here with the opportunity to get the team to 31 under power. Remember Sophie Brigler’s hit one in fairly close at eight. And we’ve seen plenty of birdies, even an eagle at nine. Team Walsh very much in the mix here led by their Irish captain just has to settle for the part. So, Carla Saganda has set the target as far as the individuals concerned, but she’s not the only Spaniard that’s going to be in the mix tomorrow in the final round of this Aranco Houston Championship. Let’s hear from Nura Aturios after her 67. New very, very well played out there today. A 67. How do you reflect on it? Thank you. Uh, my golf game is in a good place now. I played really solid these past two days and yes, I’m really happy. I hope I can make more PS tomorrow. I’ve been told that you’re trying to put a bit more consistency in your game. You’re working on that aspect both mentally and and out on the course. Clearly, it’s working at the minute, but just tell me the reasons behind that. Uh well, because um my my golf swing is not like consistency in in numbers. So I’ve been looking to because I am a feeling player. So I always was working and playing because how I was feeling at the moment. So now I’m trying to keep a swing where I can I don’t know if I feel that way but I know what to do where to put the club. Uh I think it’s more easy to get the impact I want. I don’t know if I I have explained myself but in some way I’m trying to work on that. It’s been it’s been a couple of years now that I’ve been working on that. But yes, I think the more older you get, the more mature and easier. Sorry. Do you mean more like as a as a pre-shot routine or something more working off on the driving range away from the course? Yes, driving range. And then on the routine, of course, I try to feel it that what I I work on the range. Yes. Cuz mentally from us looking on, you always seem the same. You’re always smiling. You’re always happy. But is that sometimes a bit of a cover then? Is that what you mean? No, no, no, no, no. I like I like to smile because I like to separate golf and life. So it’s not that. But of course, I get mad. you know, the the happier you see a person, the the more you can see a strong character out there. So, yes, I get mad, of course, but I try always to to turn around and and try to do my best after after the shot. Unbelievably hot here. Humid. Two Spaniards at the top. That’s not a big surprise, is it? You like the heat. Well, I’m from Aayora, so I I have to love it. But yes, is it’s really heating this humid. At least it’s not the sun is not that out today, so it’s good. But yeah, you can you can see. Oh yeah, we can all feel it. Well done. Thank you. Good luck tomorrow. Thank you very much. Yeah, fascinating hearing from Nura Turas there. She’ll keep smiling even though maybe inside she might be hurting a little. I think all Spanish players are feel players, aren’t they? Been on tour for a number of years. Multiple winner. Had so many birdies today. Moa Fala just a par there. Bring the missed her birdie but she’s six under for the round with a double bogey seven on the card today is Moa Fala. Unbelievable amount of birdies. So there’s how things look right now. Team roads and team Kuska in pole position at 31 under par. Team Walsh missing out there at 17. Remain one behind. Team Alexander nothing they can do. But those aren’t the only teams that are in the mix here. team gainer just two back but you can go back to team Vanam and team Bier who are currently in a tie for eighth and nicely done by we’re just going to run off the back edge there 95 yds left Cuscover up the hill. Can’t see the bottom of this pin. Got to trust the number. That looks like that should be the number. Hey, you just remind us many leaderboards out there. I mean, as a team, are they aware of the fact that they are in a share of the lead? They’re not the um Cusco’s Caddy actually came over to me on the last screen and said what’s leading so they weren’t aware. There is leaderboards on 16 but they are individual leaderboards. Kib got good drive from the Dane and there’s a chance of a three right there. You’re able to cut the corner off significantly on 17 Amy. you are. I’m not sure if you saw, but Anna Balak actually hit it in the water. So, she’s just now short for the green. So, she’s going to be playing her fourth shot coming up. So, that takes Anna Balats out of the equation in terms of helping the team score here. Team Kuskova tying for the lead with team Roads. Mimi Roads’s team coming down 18. Team Kuska here at 17. And over on the other side of the course coming down the ninth is team Walsh. But team Gainer, team Vanam, and team Boutier are certainly contenders still in the closing stages here at Golf Crest Country Club. So this is team roads over at 18. Christina Napolva in the right hand side rough. She blocked out here, Sophie. Well, she’s just taken a drop off the path, so I’m not quite sure how far across that she got. She has this miss in her bag. You know, we’re talking about change of goal swings. Napole’s done that over the years, but this block right is in the bag. And on 18 actually hit a cart, which is why it hasn’t gone that far down. So, she’s got herself 154 yards pin. Do you know what? Even if Christina hasn’t got a gap, she will find one. She’s that type of player. The trouble is there’s water in front, isn’t there? So, there’s a lot to kind of discuss here. We’ve got a front pin and you know, individually doing very well. The last time she won one of these team events, she actually missed the cut. So, she could go for this type of shot. She’s got a plane partners in Rosenburn. They’re in the middle of the fairway. They’ve got kind of wedges in their hand. It It’s not the moment of for heroics you would feel. You’ve mentioned where she is on the order of merit. She can get it, but it’s the first 50 yards is fine. It’s just at 50 yards there’s a couple of trees that kind of carry that you’d have to carry. Well, she’s only had just wait and see. Yeah, she’s only had one round in the 60s this season. Christina Nalva, she is six under par today. Her best result actually came in her very last event where she finished top 25 at the Hills Open. But as you say, there is plenty of risk if she decides to take this one on. And it looks like she might be, you know, Sophie. Oh, I think she might be 154 front left pin. We’re never so slightly from left to right. Oh, fabulous. Well, a brave shot from Napole. She’s also had an eagle on the front line as well. Well, that’s why her score has catapulted her into the top five on the leaderboard. But that was fabulous. Saw the shot, visualized it. Visualized it and loved it. Excellent. Good chance there for the team as well. Eagle yesterday at this hole for Selene Boutier. And it’s a birdie today. Crucial for her, crucial for her team. She’s up to six under. And team Bier closing back on the lead they held overnight thanks to those backto-back birdies from the captain. Back to 18 also down the right hand side. She’s got 113 yards but it’s like a could come out dead this. It’s quite dry underneath the golf ball. Strike sounded pretty good actually. And it’s a solid result as well. There’s another good opportunity right there for a birdie to extend the lead for team roads. They’re tied alongside team Kuska as things stand. Team Kuska got their chances at 17 to come. But it’s not just between those two teams. Burn now 110 yds gap wedge. She going to get the spin. Can it roll back down off the slope? It trickled. It’s going to be a slippery putt there for Burn, but it is a putt for a birdie. Looks like the perfect T-shot for Mimi Roads. Mimi hit driver. So she really did take on this 18th hole. It’s playing back slightly into the wind from the left hand side. She hit it 275 off the tea. Has got herself 95 yards to the pin. And with it cut on the left hand side, you would think the ball just to the right of that flag would be where she wants to finish this. Kind of have it drift from left to right towards that pin. 104 yards. Chunked it. Oh dear. Oh dear. Oh dear. Oh dear. Mimi, what are you what have you done? That is damaging. For a players who have nerves of steel this year to be a rookie and win three times, that is very much out of character for Mimi RH. So it’s down to her playing partners Burner Ban and Napoli Kuscover lips out for Birdie at 17. That was for them to edge ahead. So team Kuska, team roads locked together at this is Larabi Abby, one of five Americans in the field. This is part of team Walsh. What a fab shot that is. Well, keeping their chances very much alive as well. They’re one back. A chance now for the captain to shine. Cracking drive from Lauren Walsh. Straight down the middle of nine. Hardly any club into this front hole location. There you see it. Just eight yards on. Eight paces. Brilliant delivering under pressure. Where’s the challenge going to come from? It is so close right now at the top of this team leaderboard. Compelling viewing. Well, still five teams very much in the mix. Unfortunately for Mimi Roads, this is shot number four now. Another opportunity for some damage limitation there for the 24 year old English rookie. P to come though for Mimi Rhodess. This for an eagle three for Luna Sabbron. Oh, and that would have leapt Boutier’s team to 29 under par. It’s going to be a tap in Bernie. So they’re going to move to 28 under within three, but remember they’re only on the 14th hole. They got a few holes remaining and opportunities for birdies abound. Back to the 18th green then. So Mimi Roads can’t help the team score here, but the playing partners can Sophie. They can. They could do with some leaderboards out here. No one’s asked me. No one’s asked me where they are. They appreciate it. They’re up there because I’m with them. But haven’t seen a leaderboard for a good while. And the one I’m looking at now hasn’t got the skulls on it. Hopefully that will change for them. That’s the function of a leaderboard, isn’t it? It’s got some good advertising. Uh, right. So, Napoli over just stuck it into that UPS slope at the front of the green, but from where that T-shot finished, she would have taken this. She can move a golf ball like she can move a football. Very, very slow, though. This is one of the slowest puts you’ll find yourself on this golf course. Just take itself from left to right. Go, go, go. We have seen very few players from below the hole at 18 rush it by. Back to 18 in a moment. This is at the par 316th Sophia Kipscore Nielson in team Boutier. You can see which way this one’s heading into the trees down the right. That’s at 15 as opposed to 16. Seems to be sitting okay. Well, I suppose if uh Napolei Alves was slow, this one, I’m assuming, Sophie’s a little quick. It is quick. I’m just looking at one of those. Did you know those that play golf can live five years longer? Walked 8,000 steps today. I could just do with some scores on that leaderboard. Anyway, look, they don’t know. You’re a bit wiser. She’s one of the She’s not leaving this short. I don’t think she knows how to leave foot shorts. Sarah Burns, this one, like you say, Richard, it’s quick. She can probably look towards Mimi Road’s ball marker. So, moving from right to left now broke an awful lot more than she thought. So, it’s all going to be down to Selena Air Band there. Back to this 18th T now tied for the lead. Team Kuska. Solid drive from Kuska. Both these teams on 31 under par. Can Selene Aban find a birdie at the final hurdle to break free and move to 32 under? The leaderboard has changed. She’s just glared to the left. She can see her neighbor at the top of it. So knows exactly what this means. This to go one ahead. It’s devilishly quick and it’s going to snap hard from right to left at the end. It’s a good cup and a half outside right. But it is for a birdie. And it is for the outright lead in this team event. It wasn’t the most convincing birdie attempt from Selen Air. So there won’t be a birdie for team roads at 18. They will do no better than 31 under par. It’s a round of 69 today from the Spanish-based French woman. Well, we had a team win it at the ninth in London just uh four weeks ago from team toy. Maybe team Walsh might be able to do that this time around. Bogey putt for roads. And a very good bogey indeed after going in the water with her second. Mimi Rhodess keeping her chances very much alive of a fourth title in 2025 start the day two behind Carlott Saganda going into tomorrow’s final round there’s our Caddy he’s made a big difference Doug Pir used to caddy for Nicole Garcia that might give her a chance still to be in the final group tomorrow that pup there she finishes at eight under par and this for a bogey free round of 66 for Christina Napole Alva. By far her best round of the season. Looking for her second ladies European tour win. A player outside the top 120 on the rankings. What a big Sunday it’s going to be for her in Houston. What a popular winner she would be. Well, it really is anyone’s game going into tomorrow. But we have the team event very much to focus on right now because it is so tight at the top. You thought there was going to be a birdie coming from one of these players. Indeed. Three pars and a drop shot for Mimi Road. So 31 under is the best they can do. So the door is wide open now for team Kuskova. Yeah, team Kuska, team Walsh, team Boutier, team Vanam. Certainly not out of it yet either. This is Lauren Walsh. I believe she’s the only one here now that can make birdie. Last to go. So, this to tie the lead. And she’s got it. Huge from Lauren Walsh. Ties it up to a three-way tie now at 31 under. I’m not sure they got any idea, you know. Well, sometimes that could be the best way, but the drama continues. They’ve flown under the radar. They played on the other side of the golf course. Starting off on the 10th hole, Laura Walsh and her three players. And what a score they’ve compiled today. So, 31 under, three players locked on that score. But can Kuska and her team put the foot down? 18th hole. They need two birdies. One birdie would move them to 32 under in the outright lead. 116 yds for Cuscover. It’s a wedge. Amy, did you see where that one finished? Yeah, she’s pulled. It’s gone long left. She’s on the down slope just short of the bunker. So, it’s going to be a difficult chip she’s going to be left with there. April next to play 107 yds looking to pitch this a couple of yards short. April and also gone a little bit left. That’ll be quick as we know from there. Well, just a reminder, three teams at the moment locked at 31 under par. But it’s not just those three teams in the mix. There’s nothing more now that team roads can do. Nothing more now that team Walsh can do. And Amy, if they ask you, a birdie between these four would come in handy at 18. It certainly would. Kipscard Neielson down the right hand side of 18, just in the semi breath, but she has missed the tree, so she’s got a clear route to the pin. 106 yds. This one needs to go close. Great shot. A big opportunity there for Kibore. What a time to strike as well. Well, there’s no doubt who’s been the bigger hitter in this group all all the way through. Amy’s Annabalat has pounded it down there. She has another drive, another long drive. 98 yds left 50 degree. Knock him on down. Well, suddenly team Kuska are in the driving seat. Two good looks at birdies to come amongst their quartet. Tied for the lead. Coming down the final hole with the team event very much in the balance here in Houston. Look out for team G gainer. By the way, you need eyes everywhere looking at this leaderboard. Keep out for team Bier as well. Yeah, they’re both within two shots of the lead. Team Vanam not completely out of it either. Four shots back. And can I throw in team Tan as well? You can do whatever you like. Yeah, they’re five back. More holes out there though for team Tan. Yeah, just the three to play though for them. There they are in 11th place as things stand. Chance is slim, but yeah, not completely out of it for sure. We’re looking down at the 18th. It’s amazing how many times it just comes right down to the wire. had some great team wins this year in this PIF Global Series in uh Saudi Arabia. It was team Somi Lee in Korea, team Kuska who may be about to double up this year. Of course, Sara had different teammates there. It was Lean Pa, Brianna Navarosa, and Patricia Schmidt. And then last month in London, the probably the the biggest story really in terms of surprises that Daniela Datoy only got in the field when Carlo Saganda when Charlie Charlie Harra pulled out injured and she won alongside Sarah Kemp, Megan Dennis and Martio. This looks a tricky one for Sarah Kuska. Yeah. Ball below her feet on the down slope to open the club face here. Getting it popping up. Just pitching it on the fringe. It’s also going to be quick. She’s going to click her fingers. It’s going to be an uphill putt to come, but it’s not going to be one of those allimportant birdies that they need. Over to her playing partners. Yeah, that double bogey that she had 15 sort of kind of stopped her momentum. Sarah Kuskova might not stop her though from being a winning team captain. Here’s the colorful Claraara Davidson Spila who’s at 17 part of team Gainer who aren’t far behind themselves. Just two shots off the lead. And there’s two shots in there close as well. Just ticking it down here. April got a chance. Got a great chance. It’s in. What a moment for April and Guraserani and suddenly team Kuskova are in the driving seat. Absolutely brilliant. Unexpected. She was off the green as well. It was not an easy putt at all for April. Got the measure of that quite beautifully. A round of 66 for the Thai player. You’re not going to wipe that smile off her face for a little while. There’s the reaction from the crowd in hospitality. They enjoyed it as well. And that is a good hospitality unit. There’s been a lot of atmosphere and a lot of um a lot going on there. It’s been brilliant. Full of patrons all week. So Amy, team Kuska have moved to 32 under par. April’s laid the foundation here for them to maybe grab two late birdies. Sarah Kuska though just platting for her part. What a moment that was. And the score team, the team leaderboard just came up at the back of 18. So they know exactly the position they are in now. Cusco up the hill. Per needs to go. Yeah. Everything’s been short below the hole today. Players cannot convince themselves to hit it through. They’re going to have two more opportunities for Birdie. Well, that’s a very good point, Amy. I mean, they’ve reached 32 under par. Remember, it’s two scores on each hole can count. So, should one of these go in, it would extend their lead because you can’t rule out the challenges that are still out on the golf course. Team Boutier have a chance. So to team Gainer and they’re behind these guys. There’s a little bit of movement on this putt. A hole outside right. It looks like it’s a slippery part. It’s down the hill down the grain. Need to allow a little bit more break as well. Trust the line. Not to be for Anna Balat. has to stick on seven birdies for the round. Performed really nicely today. We saw April just finishing with a 66. Anna Balanat, we’ll pop that in for around 68. It’s why as a team they have made some great progress today. Remember that hold out from the team captain at the ninth at Eagle 2, but it’s now all down on the shoulders of Sophia Kibgore Nielson. this to set the clubhouse lead at 33 under par. Outside left edge for this one. How costly will those misses prove to be? Or will April’s moment of magic be enough for team Kuska? The clubhouse lead is 32 under par. Round of 71 for the day. You feel Amy, don’t you that that couple of missed opportunities there. One of those would have dropped. 33 under would have been a very mean target. Absolutely. I think even on 17 as well, they had a couple in close that they didn’t make. So they’ve had plenty of chances in these closing polls, but it’s now just going to be a waiting game for this team. Disappointed back nine in that round of 73 from Sarah Kuskova. Informality, a tap in for Annabalat, but they certainly could take a measure of pride. Is it going to be enough? You’re going to have to stay with us. that round there a 68 for Anna and a reminder that if the scores are tied there would be a leaderboard the team captain gets to nominate one player normally themselves doesn’t have to be and they would head down 18 again if we require extra holes at the moment though team Kuskat have the edge at 32 under par which means team Rose’s chances of winning have gone but there are other teams you can see team gainer and team Boutier are only three shots a drift. Team Boutier in particular with plenty of holes on their side. Will it be enough though for team Kuska? Well played to Sara, Safia Kids, Nielson, April, Angorasani, and Anna Balat. Well, Sophie Walker has caught up with this group. Luna Sabbron with a bird. I thought it was going to be Yeah, I thought it was going to be just in time to see Boutier make a birdie, but she left it short. She was also on the left hand side of this screen. Shows an excellent shot. Both of these players have hit in. So, it’s slower than you think, but it’s turning all the way from left to right. Jeez, they want it so badly. They know how close it is. They’re trailing by three. Big opportunity missed there for Luna. That was a very makeable putt. It’s dead easy from the commentary box. Smack has had a trouble, so this one’s going to be for par. Well, real pity for Simbaka in the terms of the individual side of things. A player who’s struggling to make the cut and that hole pretty much has put paid to her chances to be here for tomorrow’s final round. That cut hovering at even par right now. Simaka on the wrong side of that. But this a big punt Sophie for Hinsson Tolard. Yes indeed down the hill inside the hole for a three. Oh that’s moved right on her. Oh, how big opportunities missed for team Bier down to Clara Davidson Spiler at 17 to gain one for team Gainer. Well, they’re only two back and make that one now. Well, that’s an excellent putt there from Davidson Spila closing the gap. Yeah, that takes them to 30 under par. So, they’re two a drift now of team Kuska. Annabelle Wilson off the tea at 18 who’s part of car gainer’s team. Well, that was a good hit from the player from Northern Ireland. They’re two back. Remember, two birdies can count. There’s four attempts at it in the group. Well, they need two birdies amongst the four of them if they’re going to match team Kuska’s total. Last year she was out with her hip issues. Missed the last six months of the season on course to get her full playing rights back. Play certainly has led the way for the women’s game in Czecha. That’s leaking down the right slightly. Now to the captain car again up. Confirmation two behind final hole. I should be happy enough with that one. There’s a lot to admire about car gainer. very approachable, very sensible, very mature golfer, very level head on her shoulders. She’ll know exactly what is at stake and there well we talk about fairway finders in players who hit greens in regulation. We were talking about Shannon Tan yesterday, but this player Maria Hernandez, she is straight as a die. Been on tour for a number of years. She’s straight but not the quickest. Amy Balden joining us. uh in commentary now after being out in the heat. Bet you’re enjoying the air conditioning in here. I am. I definitely don’t think it’s as hot today than it was yesterday. I’ve got to say there’s a bit of cloud cover today which is quite pleasant. But you’re right. I knew I could bring you in there. I knew you’d have time before Maria hit. But you are right. Hernandez is one of the straightest hitters of the golf ball. Expect this one to be down the middle. Yeah. Thank you, Maria. Don’t let us down. Oh. Okay. Well, they’re safe. Part one done. Can they get close? Well, the odds against them to pick out two birdies, but you never know. Team Kuskova Sara’s won twice in the individual stakes this year, and she’s hoping for a second PIF Global Series team winning captain moment here in Houston, Texas. She went to university in the lone star state and it’s her team that lead by one ahead of team roads. Nothing more they can do. But look at team gainer, team Bier, even team vanam not down for the day. That’s the way things look in the individual side of things. Darcy Harry one of the late finishers on the other side of the course looking for her second win of the season. One of the fine rookies on the LD this year. It’s Carlotta Saganda ahead after that superb 64. Talking of Carlott Saganda, I think we can hear from the 35year-old Spaniard looking to win on the le for the fifth season in a row. She’s been speaking with Edomorse. Colada, a great round of golf from you out there today. A 64. What are your thoughts? Yeah, I mean very solid. I think every time you shoot a 64 is a a great day. I started very well. Made a a few PS on the first few holes and yeah, I shot 600 on the front nine, I think. Yeah, the P on 16, which was my seventh hole. That was a a big part. And then I had some Yeah, some confidence and B did I think four in a row, so that was very good. And then, yeah, I think just very solid T green made a few PS and yeah, very happy. I mean, after that front, you must have thought, oh, maybe a 59’s on. Yeah, I mean I was I was I wasn’t thinking too much about the result to be honest. I was just trying to to be present one shot at a time and and I think that’s when the best results happen. But yeah, I was at one point I mean I was I think nine under after I don’t even know maybe 12 13 holes. So could have been yeah a low one but at the end I I bogged eight 17 but still a great run. Is it hard to keep something like that out your mind a little bit? I mean obviously confidence is flying but and I know golfers always say I take one shot at a time but there must be something there. Uh I mean to be honest I wasn’t really thinking that much. I was like just keep playing. I haven’t been playing great lately so I was just happy to yeah to to make a few PS and keep making birdies but I think I stayed present and and I would have like a couple more but I mean always very happy with with a 64. Of course. I was actually going to ask you about that because obviously we know you you won on the LPGA and then in London on the final day that wasn’t you know obviously what you were after and as you say you weren’t playing quite so well recently. So this is a bit of bit comeback on the golf course for you isn’t it? Yeah. Yeah. My last few events they haven’t been great. So I spent a couple days with with my coach in in Liberty National uh Sunday Monday and I think yeah I think my my swing is back on track. It feels pretty good now. And I think at the end of the day, it’s just yeah, keep working. Yeah, you can. I mean, playing golf when you think you have it, then you lose it. So, you have to be always humble. Keep keep practicing and yeah, try your best every day. Well, some of us like me never had it. Well done. Thank you. Well, our coach is going to be busy tomorrow, isn’t he? P Parada because he’s the cousin of Alfredo Garcia Redia who’s in contention at the Irish Open and his pupil who he spent with time as you heard at Liberty National on Sunday and Monday Carlotta Siganda very much in the hunt for the title here at this Haramco Houston Championship on the tea at 16 with Luna Sabbronz Boutier’s come up short of the green. So on 167 wind half a club into this is on a great line. Oh and it’s a good result Sophie as well. Very nice indeed. They are two shots back this team and this is the 16th hole. They’ve got three holes to play. Remember, two scores count on every hole. Back to 18. Amy, you’ve just been out there. Maria in the shadows. Always nice to play out of that. Looking to play this one to the right of the flag. Going to leave herself an uphill putt to come. It’s been a struggle this season after such a great 2024 for Maria Hernandez. She finished eighth on the order of merit last year. Car gain a fourth on the rankings in 2025. Can go straight at this pin inside 120 yards. Seen a lot of players do that over the last half an hour or so. Just turned that one over. Gone a little bit long left. Yeah, that’s a big opportunity miss there for Cara Gaina. I know exactly what at stake. It’s a tough green, Amy. It’s a hard one to read, that’s for sure. Anybody who’s been right at the pin has not made a putt. Anybody who’s been short has left it short, and it’s on that slope. Yeah, this green sits towards you. So it all sloped from back to front. If you’re missing it to the right of that pin, there’s a big break on the putts. Spokov just missing the tree. Trying to punch one in here. There’s a good chance there though for Claraara. That it’s going to be fast, but the good news there’s not a lot of break in that one. That is one of the straighter ones. anything right at the pin. Everybody has left it low left. Big drive for Annabelle Wilson. Inside 100 yards now. It’s all about the team now for Annabelle Wilson. She’s going to miss the cut. Can she contribute? Can she lead the team to victory? You see, it’s it’s close, but it’s a really difficult to measure just how much that’s going to break from right to left. That is a difficult part coming up for Annabelle. Let’s drop back a couple of holes now. Let’s join Maddie Tolsh. Here she is on 16. The par three hit the downs slope a fraction scuttled on. So where would you rather be Amy? In the clubhouse like team Kuskver at 32 underpar or like team Booty with three holes left to play and three shots behind. I think there’s a lot of opportunities. I think 17 with it playing only Shaw. There’s there’s plenty of opportunities there, but I’ve not seen many puts hold on that green today. I would prefer to be in Bautier’s position chasing. Yeah, unfortunately, we’ve had a few score changes uh in this final round of the team event. You’ll see team Walsh uh obviously not changing who we thought were leading, but they’ve dropped from 30 under to 28 under pass. So Laurel Moch’s team now in a share of seventh place. But it is definitely team Kuska at 32 under, one better than team roads. Team Gainer needing two birdies from that final hole to match team Kuska score. And a screen on the 18th T. This in team Vanam. The one place you can’t miss it on 18 is right. Another of the players that went to university in Texas. Fair few of them. Team Vanam are 28 under par. They need two Eagles in order to draw level with Kuska. That’s the par for the finishing hole. So it’s going to be a too much to ask. Let’s check in with Boutier. It was a poor t-shot on 16 from the French woman. for the part to come. She can look a bit grumpy on the golf course at times, can’t she? Can’t we all? She’s hard to pull. Welcome to our world. It’s the lefty. It must be Kim Metro to start this one on the left side of the hospitality tent. That’s the line off this tea box. Run out to the bunker is 260. So that one should come up short. Well, we saw April produce something here, Amy, when you were out there. You got to play this one very delicately, especially out of that rough. It really grabs the club face. Not a bad shot there from Caragana. Leave herself an uphill putt to save part, but they need birdies. That’s the crucial part. They need to find two birdies to draw level with Kuskova. So Car out of the equation now. It’s down to Claraara, Annabelle, and Maria. Yeah, Clara, I suppose, considers herself half American. You can see uh her husband Sha there on the back. He’s an American. There’s not been too many scoreboards out on the golf course. So, this is one of the first ones they would have seen for a while. So, they’ll now know what they need to do on this hole. Would you find that frustrating as a player not knowing? I mean, I know there are players that don’t even look at leaderboards. I think for the team event, it’s nice to know, isn’t it? I think, you know, there’s four players in the team. you kind of want to spear each other on knowing, you know, you play more aggressively, especially some players that are missing the cut. They’re just playing for the team. They can play much more aggressively and that’s what the difference is. I think it’s nice to know what you need to do. And it’s interesting that players say they don’t like looking at the leaderboards, but if they don’t like looking, their caddies know exactly what’s happening and they have a very big influence over the the shots that the players will will indeed play. Now Hernandez, this one’s going to be slow up the hill. Moving from right to left, it needs to go. Everybody’s left it short from that position. We haven’t seen anybody go beyond the hole. I spoke to Kusco Caddy while I was out there and he said that the the Greens were 11.5 on the stint, but they just feel a little bit slower. It’s hard to trust, especially when you’re above the pin thinking that they’re going to be down grain and they’re going to be quick, but a lot of players leaving them short today. This is Madison Hinsson Tolshard. this over at 16 for team Bier. Never on the right line. Trying to come back a little bit, but it’ll just be a par for the Australian who at the moment at one under par has also got to keep an eye on the cut line. One under is safely in, but it is still dangling between level par and one under. It’s very close actually. One over still has a sneak of a chance as well, believe it or not. But you would think it will fall at level certainly as it stands. But back to the real drama. This must go. Well, we know how much break is on this putt. Couple of holes to the right. They need two birdies. This for one of them. What a great try from Annabelle Wilson. So, Kuska’s team, their lead remains intact. Another team have fallen short of the target. Even if Claraara Davidson Spila holds her putt, it’s still not going to be enough. They would move to 31 under. Yeah, disappointing day for herself really there. 76. It’s going to be another miscut for a player who’s outside the top 80 on the rankings this season in her rookie year. I just watched April Hall one on a very similar line left to right slightly. Well, four chances of birdie. Unfortunately, none of them eventuated. It’s still been a decent day for the team. They’re going to finish in the top five, but poor pass to finish with. Clara safely through to the weekend. Yeah, Tinger as it stands tied for third at 30 under part. Spilover with around a 70 today. Well, is it going to be a playoff? Is Kuska and her team sitting in the clubhouse right now thinking, “Hang on, I think we’ve got enough here. I think I changed my mind. I think I’d like to be Cusco’s team. Can’t change your mind. You got to make a call. Caragana outside right. A disappointing finish for Car of 71 for her. So up to four under par which is just outside the top 10. So what an opportunity and what a difference this would make heading to 17 for team Bier and she’s got it. Big move for team Bier thanks to Luna Sabbron. So they move to 30 underpar, two back, two to play. It’s game on you’d have to say for the major champions team. There they are. Team Boutier up to 30 under par. They are the biggest danger. There’s no about doubt about it. The overnight leaders at 18 under par. The biggest danger to team Kuska. The quartet of Sara and her teammates of Sophia Kibsor Nielson. April Angoraserani and Anna Bellats in the house at 32 under par. And I’ll tell you what, tomorrow is going to be a fascinating final round, isn’t it? In the individual side of this Aramco Houston Championship. Carlotta Saganda will head into that final day with the lead. I know who the engraver doesn’t want to win. Chanak Nonangarani or Christina Napolea. Yes, it’s very kind of her to nickname herself April, isn’t it? Yeah, those tie names. Got the better of us over the years. Well, off the back of that brilliant birdie at 16. Springing the step heading to 17 for Luna Sabbron. It’s a great driving hole this 17th. It is. There’s water that sits all down the left hand side. It’s a dog leg from right to left. Yeah, Sophie’s there. And after that, after that seven iron, she is flying, but she’s opting in for a fairway wood. So, playing for the the right half of this, not taking on the water as much. The run out directly in front of her, 240. Unfortunately, there’s a there’s a path, a car path down the left hand side around the lake, and there’s plenty of people just strolling around. And uh unfortunately, we’ve got two people walking around at the moment that’s right in the players line. It’s a dog leg that moves around the water. And it’s a hard t-shirt actually because you know if you go through this fairway, you’re going to be in the rough and then it’s hard to hold the green. So you do have to kind of just tweak it round there just as Luna Sabbron did right there. These two must have played quite a lot of golf together amateur wise. Both of them stunning amateur careers in Boutier and Looney Sabbron and uh ball striking. Nothing wrong with Sabbron. It’s just getting that flat stick to work but it did on the 16. Next up the captain also looking to tweak one round from right to left. carry over the first part of the water. 200 yards. Yeah, that’ll do. Sophie, conservative play so far from Boutier and Luna Subbron. Not going with the driver. We saw Sarah Burn hit a 300 yard drive on 17 about 30 minutes ago. She just had a flick in with a wedge. I think you’re playing your strengths, aren’t they? Really? It looks like driver here. So, uh, this one knows you can step on it. This wind is just moving it from right to left. So, that’s going to wade the drop. That’s a cracking T-shot there from Maddie. Well, three T-shots in terrific position for team Boutier who are two back, two holes to play. Simak has struggled on 15 and 16. So, it’s very much team focused now using the right side of the T- box dog leg from right to left driver. So, it’s gone straight on up. Yeah, his driving issues catching up with the Argentine. Still a chance though to be part of a winning team. Well, we’ve had some really close finishes and these last couple of PIF Global Series events. London. It all came down to the final hole and it was a team that were on the other side of the golf course that ended up lifting the trophy. But this now it’s all coming down to the crunch. They march down the 17th. The tournament is very much within their grasp in the team. Can they find these elusive birdies? Well, as they walk down 70, we’ll head down towards the clubhouse and catch up with Mimi Roads. Well done. eight under after two rounds. So, you put in a pretty impressive shift. How pleased are you with the way you performed? Yeah, I would say I played um quite a lot better today, but putts didn’t drop and uh quite a disappointing end on the last, but I managed to hold the part. So, um yeah, overall a really good um positive day and it was just so much fun um you know, playing out there with um the team and yeah and Sarah and everyone played really good. So, I’m really proud of them. You mentioned the team event. Look, you had a top five in London. You’re in contention here again in the team event. So, the way you just mentioned that, having fun playing with the likes of Sarah, you know, very well. How much does that boost your own performance? Yeah, I mean, I would say quite a lot cuz I like talking on the golf course um everything apart from golf pretty much. And um yeah, and they played really well today. So, I I think I really thrive when when I’m around people who are playing well. So, um yeah, I just here I just love playing in teams and um just that, you know, that motivation and the positive vibes. Um yeah, it’s always a good thing. Yeah, look, we’ve seen rookies dominate the last couple of seasons, you this season with with three wins already and I’m sure there’s more to come. We saw Kiara Tambellini last season. So, does that just go to show how the level or where it’s at at the minute? Yeah, uh definitely. Um, I think there’s a lot of, you know, really good young players coming up and, um, yeah, I think it’s it’s just showing, you know, the older players and the the really good players that we can compete on at the same level as them. And, um, yeah, these events are just like a step higher than, you know, the usual le events. So, um, yeah, I think it just really pushes the younger players and, um, definitely a good thing that a lot a lot of young players are coming up. Lastly, you’ve been in positions where you’ve led and you’ve chased. You’re just two shots off the lead as it stands. So, what position do you prefer to be in and what’s the game plan for tomorrow? Uh, personally, chasing I like um you know, you never you never know what the leader is going to do and um I just love, you know, making birdies and going for things. Um I like being aggressive instead of, you know, um kind of like in the lead and you’re not sure what people are doing behind you. And um yeah, I just like having a target and trying to chase it. Best luck for today and tomorrow. Thank you. It’s funny how she thinks like that, Amy, when you consider the three wins she’s had, she’s been leading going in the final round. And in those three tournaments, she had one bogey only combined. I think a lot of players prefer, well, from my knowledge, a lot of players prefer to be the chaser. I think it’s nicer to be that more aggressive player going into the final round of being like, okay, like she just said, there’s the target and that’s what I need to get to. And with the leader being Carlotta Saganda tomorrow, we know that there is often a fragility. Even at the end of last season Spanish Open, she led by four and Man and Doory caught her within nine holes. Carlotta’s not even though she’s got that sort of esteem about her, she’s not necessarily the best front runner. Yeah. And I think Mimi, she knows how to win, doesn’t she? She is a superstar. Um, and I think that she is just going to step up to the challenge tomorrow and enjoy being in that position. Okay, that’s the individual side of things. That’s tomorrow. The team very much still up for grabs today. Boutier’s long left. So this one could go in tight, please. From 104 yds. It’s in with a chance, Sophie. That’s for sure. Big opportunity there for the Australian. Oh, we’ve got Maggie and Maddie in this group. It’s going be quite hard for me to say those. It’s like this one is is unlike some tree roots. It’s not very nice. Sounded nice though. One one. Hello. Okay, they’re two shots back of team Kuska. Two holes to play and two scores can count on each hole. Simaka played already here, Sophie. Yeah, I just commentated on it. We didn’t see it. Sorry, we didn’t see that. Okay. Um, there was a camera there. Anyway, let’s go back to the fairway. Um, sorry about that everybody. Uh, 92 yards left for uh Luna Son. She’s got a lob wedge out this wind. Gently down to a front pin. Can take it all the way. Play the number 92. She’s having a good look at this. A lovely shot nearly going in for a two. Well, that is brilliant. A definite birdie then. So, they are within one of team Kuska for sure. Backto back birdies. She’s over the moon is Luna. Not far off going in for an eagle and to draw level right there. Okay. Well, that’s one birdie taken care of. Brilliant. Nerveless, wasn’t it? What an excellent wedge from the Spaniard. Hannah screen up on 18. This for Birdie up the hill right to left. Another cut that comes up short on 18. I haven’t seen a single player hold apart from the right side of that pin today. It’s not easy. Well, I think she might just walk up and tap this in. Una sbr takes the flag out. Just going to make sure she’s not stepping in anyone’s line. But this will take team Bier to 31 under par and one behind team Kuska. Same club as yesterday into this 17th hole and same result. She nearly held that log wedge yesterday. So good number for the new vokies that are in the bag. I just walked past that bag. I tell you what, might get a flight bag and take them home if their old ones return. Yeah. Wonder if they’re going to turn. Shiny new grooves. Kate, that’s why that one stuck in there, wasn’t it? So, what chance of another birdie at this 17th and then actually tying the lead heading to 18? The Aussiey’s in tight, but uh Maggie hit it through the back. She had a good shot from the trees down the right hand side. Just pitched on the green and because she’s coming across the green, not up the green, it ran through. So, this one just nudge it onto the front edge and have it roll down the hill. Well, tough times for Macki Zimaka, but a chance to be amongst a winning team here. You never know what a difference that could make. I mean, given the fact she’s only made two cuts in the last two years. I mean, financially, if nothing else, Amy, a big chance to be amongst a winning team here at this PIF Global Series event. Yeah, that’s huge. You’re only making two cuts in two years. You know, it’s tough financially anyway. Um, you’re spending a lot of money, are you? You are. And and especially where the Ladies European tour, we travel all over the world, so it’s an expensive expensive game, isn’t it? BTA next hit was in between wedge and putter, but she handed that wedge back to Carlos. Cad’s gone for the the putter. It comes down the step about a third of the way and then picks up pace. She’s also looking outside the hole to the left. This for birdie. It’s looking very very good. Oh, wow. Great try from Boutier. So, it’s going to be down to Madison Hinsson Tolshard here to level things up at the top of the leaderboard. Albe it wouldn’t be the end of their hopes if she doesn’t knock it in. It would mean they need a birdie down 18 to tie. Two to win. And what a difference pin positions make. The one on the right hand side of 17, it’s a lot harder to get to. But on this front left pin, you can see it from the fairway. It’s easier to access because it’s softer. You’re hitting into the up slope, which means this birdie put is going to be slow and it’s going to move from right to left. It’s ideal for a righthander. Well, they’re going to need the 18th cuz they’re going to need at least one more birdie to draw level. As Richard said, two to break free and enjoy that lead and that victory all by themselves. Oh, that was a super wedge in from Luna. Very nearly made an eagle, but a kick in birdie and they’re now within one shot. She’s on the mark of one under. So safety inside the current cut line. Not many players left out on the course now. It looks more and more likely it’s going to be level par. If anything, it might move to plus one, but you’d say level par very much the favorite, which means no chance for Simaka. So they pick up a shot and it’s in their hands right now. Team Boutier closing stages of this team event at the Aramco Houston Championship. And it’s going right down to the wire at Golf Crest Country Club. There is confirmation. Team Boutier now into a share of second. Everyone on that page has finished apart from the quartet led by Selene Boutier. One birdie to match team Kuskova. Two to win it. And Amy, 18’s not the easiest hole to find birdie on. It’s not It’s not long in yardage. It’s 355 yards long. A lot of the players are going in with with wedge or nine iron. Um so there is chances yardage wise, but it’s a difficult pin position. And that green’s it’s tough. We’ve not seen many putts hold on it today. There are the 26 teams. It’s going to be a nailbiting finale here in Pland just south of Houston. So it’s down to the four. Team Boutier are on the 18th T. Luna Sabbron’s going to take the honors here. Sophie after her birdies the last two holes. she is. She’s got she’s got that smile that her eyes kind of just light up a little bit. And I think she’s, you know, she’s playing so so well at the moment. And maybe what Amy was saying earlier in in the show about if you don’t have your own clubs, you know, you kind of come into the week like what else could go wrong? Let’s just te it up and play. And he’s opting for a a three-wood here. What wind there is is coming in from that left hand side. It’s 230 to carry the bunker on the right. It’s 260 to the bunker on the left hand side. So, this shouldn’t get her into that bunker on the left. It’s really all about the T-shot. Find the fairway. Then you’ve only got a wedge to that front left pin. Yeah, to go with the driver. Yep, that’s absolutely fine for Luna. Was flirting down the right hand side. We’ll have a clear view in with the second. Her swing looks good. You know, Luna can get a little bit around herself, a little bit flat. short, but it ly on plane. I don’t think she’s going to want her old clubs back if she finds them. Maybe not. Same option here for Booty. Not been particularly pleased with her last two approach shots. So, fairway wood also the play. She’ll have to bust this to get it over the right bunker though. So, look to keep this one down the left. Yeah, that’ll do nicely for the world number 20. So, two in good position. We’re talking a major champion in Seline Boutier. Very experienced player in Luna Sabbron. What a what a week really for Mattie Hinsson Tolshaw. What an experience this is for the Australian rookie. opting for drive up. This one’s heading left. Bunkers down there. There’s also that tree. It’s going to be dependent on the lie. Yeah, it looks like she’s going to be blocked out though. Yeah, a number of trees down there. Might take her out of the birdie equation. You know, straight in. Remember, she is only just inside the cut line as well. It’s not all about the team, although it very much feels that way for Maggie Zimmer. She only hit seven fairways yesterday. Looking to find one down here on 18 and she has. Well, good positioning off the tea there for Maggie. Oh, it’s all to play for though. there. One shot back. This is the 18th hole. Two birdies can count. Where will the two birdies come from? Over on the other side of the course, Darcy Harry coming towards the end of her round. This at the par 38 for the Welsh player. Was the previous Welsh winner on tour a certain Amy Balden? I think it was Richard. Off to Switzerland next week where you got your ladies European tour title. Yeah, I think I think the Welsh always have a usually a good week in Switzerland. Not sure what it is about that place. So, look out for Darcy next week as well. Look out for Darcy. Look out for Lydia Hall. Chloe Williams as well. Chloe Williams. Absolutely. Yeah. As you can see, a few teams like Allison Lee’s team on the other side of the course just finishing off. By the way, Allison who’s making her comeback if you like, her first event since having a a little baby boy. It’s three under par. So, she’s going to be safely in individually for the final round tomorrow. Met a little boy last night. He is absolutely gorgeous. I was having some cuddles with him in the hotel. Levi, isn’t it? 4 months old. He’s beautiful. It’s interesting, isn’t it? You know, obviously it’s now down to two teams for the team side of things, but all these players here will have a chance. I mean, you got big hitters like Poly Mack. You got Christina Napole who’s got, you know, her card to wrap up maybe tomorrow as well. So many other potential stories as well. Mimi Rose to win four times match what Ling Grant did a few years ago. Didn’t you think in her post round interview then with Mimi Rhodess, she’s 23 years old. She’s a rookie. She sounds like a seasoned veteran. You know, she talks with so much maturity like Yeah. I I think it helps when you have a stunning amateur career. She just carried it on into the professional game. Impressive. Now, Kabori, will she get past the hole on 18 or will it go in? Well, it won’t help her make the cut, but it’ll add to the tally for team Tan who were very much amongst the potential winners today at the start of it. This part be high enough. Has Shannon Tan kept it high enough? Not yet. That’s going to be a level par round of 72 today for the Singaporean. There’s a pictures look down at this closing hole. That’s a nice place to be viewing proceedings from. It’s a clever cameraman, isn’t it? How did he get access to the 18th hospitality? I like his style. I think he hit your your pass there. Yeah. Well, I want it back. So, that’s where I’m heading to after this. And nice to see Danielle Kang for under par and going to be very much in for tomorrow’s final round. She struggles to make cuts this year on the LPGA tour. This to finish her round off. Round of 69. A few fans out here as well. Enjoy playing with Shannon Tan. She’s had a good couple of days. Big fan of these events. Daniel Kang. She was saying yesterday, wasn’t she, that she wishes every week there were team events. Seems to get her playing better. She was a feisty member of the Sohan Cup team, wasn’t she, Daniel? I think it’s different when you play in these team event when you play in these team team events. It’s a different atmosphere, isn’t it? play not only for yourself but also for your team and you can play more aggressively out there. Sunfang got a nice golf ball there from Danielle Kang. She’s going to throw another one as well. Oh, she’s certainly entertaining the crowds. So when they when she throws a putter in there, there’ll be a scramble then. Yeah, that would be a prize possession. Yeah, she designed that herself for Scotty Cameron. I think that will firmly stay in the golf bag. Fancy Harry to try and get to seven under par. Very much put herself in the mix in the individual side of things. Toss yard has has had to chip out. So she’s down just in front of the water. So next up will be Seline Boutier. She has got 129 yards. The ball is on a slight down slope. So it will come out lower. We’ve got a front left pin and a bit of a false front. So this will come out skiddy. He’d like to finish it slightly right of that flag as well. 129 y giving it the lean. proven to be a very popular spot today. That’s three in a row she’s missed down the left hand side now. Booty three greens that she’s missed as well. Simaka next to go 121 front 130 pin a touch of breeze into. So play this one at 130. Yeah, about 130 yards this one. Well, she smoothed it in there, but she’s also gone long and left, turned it over. Well, not looking good for the birdie they need right now, are they? No. I mean, what from 130 looking nine iron, you know, to to miss the green, it’s not not what they’re looking for. But here’s the player that’s she’s on song right now. The best of the T-shots. Do they know what they have to do, Sophie? No. Nobody’s asking and no one’s talking to me. I’m glad you lot. So, she has 128. That pin is five from the left hand side. sort of caddy kind of point of where you want to leave this. It is just slightly right a bit. Wind is into from the left. It’s probably coming from 1030 on that clock face. She’s bringing she’s obviously in between clubs. I think she’s I think she’s in between like a a full wedge in a a little nine. You can see that rehearsal there. is just looking to come across it from right to left, you know, so try and ease a fade into a front pin, which isn’t easy with loft, which is probably why the two missed the green. So, this is it. That flag is waiting for somebody to hit it in tight. 128 yds to go. She had an exceptional wedge into 17. Nearly hold it all over the pin. It’s going to be slippery, but there’s a chance for Luna. Well, at the moment, you would say team Kuska are favorites. Wouldn’t have said that heading into this 18th hole, but uh they still do lead team Kuska. So I would say a bit of an agonizing weight for Sara, for Sophia Kibs, Gor Nielson, for April and Gurusani and Anna. But that’s the four that you were following out there Amy. Yeah, they gave themselves a lot of chances in their last couple of holes as well. Suppose this could go in from Maddie Hinson Tolsh. Oh, I like the positivity. I think that hospitality might get a little bit rowdy if it does though. 85 yds lob wedge. Fly it over the pin. Suck it back into the hole. Make a three. Job done. That’s going to be a P for Maddie. Yeah, just keeping an eye on that cut line with her score at one under par and have a par coming. Level par would be good enough to get in. So even if she didn’t make that part, she still will be uh able to tear it up tomorrow for the final round of this Aramco Houston Championship. Well, there’s no obvious birdies on this 18th pole. Not from the three T- shots, the three second shots that are in. Two have missed the green. One is long and it’s going to be a slippery p down the slope. When it’s a fast path, it’s going to move a bit more. It’s going to break a bit more. Well, there is team Kusco very much amongst the interested spectators. Sara won the uh the team event in the second of our PF Global Series events back in May at New Korea Country Club. She was with Leanne Pace, Brianna Navarosa, and Patricia Schmidt to win the team event there in Korea. Since then, she’s won two individual events at the Jabra Ladies Open and at the Tenneref Women’s Open. She’s a player who went to college here in the state of Texas, but out of her hands, watching on as the action continues at 18. So, coming from the second cut of rough here, needs to land it on that edge because it’s just going to skip down to the hole about there. Two chances remain. down to the captain and Luna Sabbron. Here she is. Well, she’s a player who for the last nine years has lived in the state of Texas, albeit a few hours from here in Dallas. Selene Boutier over six par. So very much in amongst the contenders for the individual. That’s four behind her Soheim Cup teammate Carlotta Saganda. It is a year to the Sohan Cup and if you haven’t seen the ladies European tour social media Evalotus Drummed who is uh part of the L has been doing a cycle ride from her home in Sweden all the way to Bernardas Golf Club. She’ll be there on Monday which will be exactly one year until next year’s Soulheim Cup. So I know she’s just completed her second day of cycling that 1,000 kilometer journey. Team Kuska getting a little closer to the 18th green. And you’d say Sophie, maybe they’re edging a little closer to victory. You would, wouldn’t you? Luna Braun was clearly in between clubs there. She’s gone for the nine iron instead of hitting a hard wedge. And she was staring it down. Thought she’d hit a good shot, but it’s just maybe a bit of adrenaline. It’s not a hole with a front left pin with water where you want it to be in between clubs. Now she faces this swift downhill right to left birdie putt which no one seems to have mastered today. He’s going about four cups from right to left as well. Want to draw level on the 32 under path. So, it’s all going to be down to Selene Boutier. It means team Bier cannot win this team event on this 18th green in regulation, but they still could yet tie team Kuscover. Interesting how they left the captain for the final thought, isn’t it? Because normally in in a general stroke player fence, she would have gone before Luna main point signal suggesting that she’s taken this one just outside that left hand side. It’s all about the bobble. This first yard through the fringe as it gets on the dance floor, it just wants to move away from her. It’s very quick. the importance of keeping this one slightly left and hope that she doesn’t get a bounce off this fringe. That’s not going to get there. That’s not going to get there. And that confirms victory for team Kuska in Houston. Sara Kuska along with her teammates Sophia Kipsco Nielson, April Angorasani and Anna Balat are the Aramco Houston Championship team winners. Well, all very dramatic at the end. It came down to a nailbiting conclusion. It was close coming down to the last final roll of that putt from Selene Boutier. Well, the putt does drop and it’s for Maggie Simaka. Unfortunately, not for the needed birdie. Rather for Hinsson Tolsh, I should say, but not for the needed birdie. But it does guarantee that she will be in at one under par for tomorrow’s final round. Typical, isn’t it? What did we say, Richard? No one told that P. Yeah, except when you don’t need it. Well, obviously she did, but not for the tea. And then Maggie Simaka this apart as well. Even if this goes in, it’s a good part, but not enough for her to play tomorrow morning. But certainly um the crowd, the fans enjoying the action. Nice to see a the team in the part of a team that’s in contention. Played well in Ireland recently. Made a cut. Confidence slowly starting to come back. The golf course can be a lonely place, can’t it? When you’re trying to find confidence, she’ll take a measure of pride in how well she’s played the last couple of days. It’s a step in the right direction. But this player will certainly take an awful lot of pride in how she’s equipped herself over the last two days. Brand new clubs in the bag when she teed up, lost them on Monday. Came in with low expectations. Excellent round yesterday and then backing it up today. This was six under and to be four shots off the lead going into tomorrow. Yeah, well played Luna Sbron. It was a really good finish to the round as well after what was a sticky start round of 70 to back up her effort of 68 yesterday. Chance for a breakthrough win for her tomorrow as uh you’d expect Selene Boutier to be out there come the end of tomorrow. Yeah, that’s a round of four under par 68 going into the final round. Four shots off the lead. But team Boutier led overnight by two shots, but unfortunately for them they have come up one shot short of the winning total. Team Kuskova will be getting their hands on the trophy very shortly. Four trophies this year now for Sarah Kuska. They want more gold balls. Yeah, good catch. Oh no, she dropped it. She likes these team events, doesn’t she, Kiskova? She’s won three now. She was in the uh winning Saganda team in Riyad in 2023. She led her team to victory in Korea this year. Say four trophies in the year. Hope they got a big enough mantel piece. A highly profitable year as well. Confirmation then it is the awesome foresome Sara Kuska, Sophia Kibskor, Nielson, April Angurasani and Anna Balatz who take the title as part of team Kuska. So many teams had a chance on this final day. Team roads and team Boutier ultimately coming up one shot short. Still a little bit of golf to complete team Harry. You can see still out there, but they cannot affect proceedings back at 23 under par. They’re on the other side of the course. But that is how the 26 teams sit on the leaderboard at the end of the team event. But still golf, okay, to come as far as the individuals concerned. And there are some well-known names inside that top 10. It’s a really tasty looking leaderboard, isn’t it? I mean, it’s the Carlos Saganda won this year on the old PGA Tour and then her form really hasn’t been very good coming into this week, but what a round today. 64 throwing down the gauntlet and a one shortly going into tomorrow. I suppose the one name you look at there, Amy, Charlie Hull, six under par. She got off to a sticky start today, but I mean, four shots back for Charlie, that is a love a nice position to be in. I know there are quite a few names up there, but she’s got a chance. I think it was interesting to see how she was going to get on this week. She said she was coming in here with, you know, not really any expectations after her uh injury. Um, and I think it’s nice to see that, you know, even though she’s had a little bit of a break, that, you know, she’s right up there. She’s in contention. And we all know what Charlie Hull can do. And four shots is nothing for a player like Charlie Hull, who is such an aggressive player. Really has nothing to lose. She’s only got eyes on the prize. She’s not interested in finishing second or third or just putting in a good score, she will want to win. So, if she can stop the niggling injuries, she had an MRI on her back last week. She was, you know, tugging at her back in yesterday’s round as it has been playing up. and then obviously rolling her ankle last month. But injuries aside, she’s got the game. She is going to be a threat. But you look at Carla Saganda and you look at Charlie Hall. They were both in the final group last year with Lexi Ferling. And it was Lexi that got the job done. Carlotta has only won in the US on the LPJ this year. And Charlie’s only won six times, what is it, twice on the LPJ tour, four times on the LE. As we look at Darcy Harry here. Hello. Hello. Oh, what a finish from Darcy Harry. She could be in with a chance tomorrow as well. That takes her up to seven underpar. What a finish that was to a round. That stopped me talking about Charlie Hull, didn’t it? Six birdies today for the Welsh woman. Six birdies, one bogey. Little bit of national pride there for you, Amy. Bit of a fist pump from you, Amy, that’s for sure. Well, you never know tomorrow how important a pup that might prove to be from downtown Houston that one. The margins are fine and the players are really starting to shoot some good scores. You look at the numbers in round two. 64 67. We’ve got a couple of 66s in there as well. Players getting the measure of this course, including this player, Olivia Cowan. Well, nice to see Olivia having a good tournament. She wasn’t feeling very well at the start of this year this week. Neither was Darcy, actually. So, they both they both both got the flu together, of course. Well, they’ve both done all right with it as well, haven’t they? Beware of the injured golfer. And also with Olivia Cowan only a month ago. She went to the London putting lab pretty much broke down her putting stroke. Had said, “I’ve never had a putting lesson before.” So, to go and do something like that in the middle of the season. She finished strong in London, shot a 68 on the final day to be very much in the mix, just coming up a shot shy in the end. But a player who’s got such good game and obviously is putting very well with a 67 today. Yeah, Olivia, she got a putting coach this year, which is very different for Olivia. She’s normally not normally very technical. She’s got Ryan Evans on the bag this week, professional golfer. And he’s a good friend of Charlie Harles as well. I think he’s going out with uh with Charlie to go to the event on the LPJ tour next week as well. Yeah, he’s he’s going to caddy again, I think, for Olivia next week. So, uh Olivia enjoys having him out on the bag. Yeah, that part from Darcy Harry will get her into the penultimate group. Unfortunately, Virginia Via Elena Carter, it’s going to be a a mis cut. A player who has gone back to the to work, hasn’t she? She’s she’s uh she’s didn’t play for the first 6 months of this season. No. Now it’s lovely to see her back out on the golf course as well. One of the most intellectual and clever players, that’s for sure. Always gives a very good interview. Highly articulate, highly thoughtful about her game. So, I know we love seeing Virginia Elena Carter back out on tour. We talk about next week’s event in uh Switzerland. Tvesa Maddock lost in a playoff last year to Alice Houston in that title. This is for part unfortunately not going to be seeing Tasa over tomorrow’s round the final round. Remember top 60 and ties will play through will play tomorrow and it’s a big prize fund. $1.5 million. Oh, Sophie Amos should have dusted off your clubs and got out there. I mean, this is life-changing prize money, isn’t it? Absolutely. This is huge for the girls. Not only just for the team event, what they for the prize money that they have in in that, but for the individual, that amount of money, it is life-changing. And you know, some of these girls don’t have sponsors out there. So, it’s huge. So that concludes things in terms of the second day’s play at this Aramco Houston Championship. We still got a small matter of what is quite a large trophy to be handed over to team Kuska and then we have tomorrow’s final round where we’ve got major champions like Selene Boutier players in the top 10 of the world like Charlie Hull the number one player on the order of merit like Mimi Rhodess and the Soulheim star that is Carlos Saganda leading the way. First time that the PIF Global Series event has been in Houston. And that’s confirmation of how the leaderboard finished in the team event. Team Kuska with a winning score of 32 underpar. They started the day at 14 under, 18 under in their second round. enough to pit both team roads and team Boutier. I think what was exciting about that finish as well, certainly over the last hour, is it really was anyone’s game. You thought it was falling in the direction of team roads. You thought Boutier were going to have a great chance. They did secure one birdie on 17 thanks to Luna, but then they dried up on 18, but just when you thought they were going to draw level, and was it going to be enough with Kriska in the clubhouse on 32 under? You had your doubts, but in the end it was. And uh that’s what make this that’s what makes this team event so good. Sounds like the party started already. Well, I’m going to go. I’ll leave you guys to it. Good country music this week, you know. Get your cowboy hat on and your cowboy beat. Well, I’ll just be boring Richard. Well, the person who has the uh cowboy hat is Gabby, isn’t it? We saw her out on the course interviewing some of the players with the cowboy hat on. Well, it’s certainly going to be a week to remember. Sarah Kuska started the week going to her old university in Austin, Texas. And now she’s going to get her hands on a trophy along with her teammates. Let’s get some reaction because team Kuska are with Gabby. Hello. Welcome to the team presentation of the Aramco Houston Championship and I’m delighted to welcome our 2025 team champions in team Kusco. Please round of applause, Sophie Gibs, Nielson, April Angor, Sarin, and of course Anna Blet as well. Congratulations with a well a score of 32 underpar. You’ve got smiles on your faces. S I’m going to start with you. This isn’t your first rodeo. You’ve won this event three times, two times as a captain. Are you going to give someone else a chance? I think uh it’s been another absolutely amazing uh two days with superb players and enjoyed it so much. Yeah. And Anna as well, you know, look, you play a lot of the stuff or your stuff on the LPGA, don’t you? So, how special are these events for you, the PIF Global Series, in terms of meeting new faces on the Ladies European tour and getting to share this special moment? Yeah, that was really fun. you know, you don’t get to play a lot of team events out there. So, every time you get to do something special like that and especially with um fellow players like these, we had ton of fun and you know, I would love to do it more. We’d love to have you back. Well, it is all about the team, isn’t it, in this event, but April, special round of applause for you. Rounds of 66, Route 66, I should say, here in Texas. What was the standout moment for you? I’m sure there were plenty. Um, I guess the highlight’s got to be the last part on the 18th. Yeah, very fun. Talk us through it. Come on. Don’t be shy. Um, I mean it was um quite a straightforward putt. Just a bit downhill and um just nailed it in the middle and seems anyone can do it. Sophie, just the one drop shot from you today as well. Like unbelievable performance for you individually, but as a team as a whole, things just click differently with this team, didn’t it? Yeah, it was fun. I mean, we played well the last few days and it all just come together today. So, yeah, we had a lot of fun out there and it was a pleasure playing with them. Yeah. And just one more for the team captain there. Just how proud are you of this team? And just quickly, when you were having to wait there in the clubhouse just to see if you had done enough, what was going through your mind? I’m incredibly proud. I mean, it has been so solid from each and every one of them. And um we spreaded out the goods all over which I think is important throughout the day. And yeah, I mean waiting was a little rough. We still weren’t sure. I we I picked probably April to go play the playoff, but I’m happy that she didn’t have to. And yeah, I mean, it’s been great. I’m sure you are happy that you didn’t have to get into that playoff there as well, April. Yeah, she’s got a smile on her face. Well, well done team. And to conduct the presentation onto my right hand side, we have Blaine Arthmar, director of public affairs, Aramco Americas, and of course, Dalia Couture, uh, chief demand officer from Gulf Saudi. So, please Blaine, if you wouldn’t mind presenting our winning team, team Kuska with the 2025 trophy here in Houston. Congratulations. the first of two trophies this weekend here in Houston. Interesting, isn’t it? We haven’t seen that. I was waiting for a yeha. Don’t think one’s forthcoming. Gabby. It’s interesting, isn’t it? Heard Sara saying there in that interview that she wouldn’t have picked herself to go down 18. She would have picked April Anchorani if there would have been a player. Not that one was required before, but I think we’ve only seen that once before. Yes, it is rare because normally it’s the captain who’s the inspiration, who’s the the natural leader and uh it just shows the humility that Kuska has. She’s very quietly spoken, isn’t she? She’s not, you know, a a super she doesn’t come across super confident. She lets her golf clubs do the talking when she has them, but already a winner this year and it just shows that she’s aware of what the team are doing, who’s playing well, who would be suited to play that 18th hole. In the end, they didn’t need to. 32 under was good enough. Okay, so now our focus of attention is on this Aramco Houston championship individual side. Carlo to Sagand I suppose will be the favorite especially after shooting a 64. I think it’s an exciting leaderboard going in tomorrow. You got a lot of long hitters out there which I think this golf course must suit some of them better ball strikers, the longer hitters. So it’s going to be an exciting final day. Yeah, you certainly get Charlie Hall and Paulolly Mack amongst the longest in the field. All these players within four shots of the Solheim Cup star Carotus Saganda at the top. But it is going to be another exciting day ahead at Golf Crest Country Club. But congratulations to Sarah Kuskavat to Sophia Kibskor to April Unurani and Anna Balat. They took the team trophy. We’ll see you tomorrow for one more day. Hey, hey, hey. Heat. Heat.
