NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion women’s golf has its first tournament of the fall next week as the Monarchs travel to Pawley’s Island, South Carolina to play in the 2025 Golfweek Fall Challenge.
The Challenge will be held at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club, which features a par-71 course that is 6,075 total yards. The three-day tournament will begin on Sunday, and the field will tee off from the first and 10th holes starting at 7:30 a.m. each round.
Fans unable to attend will be able to follow along with live stats provided by GolfStat.
A total of 20 teams will be competing in the Challenge. In addition to the Monarchs, the rest of the field will include App State, Arkansas State, Boise State, Campbell, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina, Delaware, East Carolina, East Tennessee State, High Point, Lipscomb, Morehead State, Presbyterian College, Troy, UNC Greensboro, UNCW, USC Upstate and Winthrop.
For Old Dominion, the lineup will consist of returners Puneet Bajwa, Barbara Car, and Mariana Arronte as well as freshmen Julia Rafter and Ludovica.
This year will mark the first time since 2018 that the Monarchs will compete in the Golfweek Fall Challenge. ODU finished in second place that year with a three-round total of 12-under par 840, which broke the program record for lowest 54-hole score.
Jana Melichova led the team and was the individual runner-up with an eight-under par 205. Sana Tufail placed fifth with a five-under 209, and Charlotte De Corte was three strokes back of Tufail and tied for sixth with a one-under 212.
