Don’t use spray sunscreen anywhere. Why do you need to aerosolize your sunscreen? Are you worried the air isn’t getting enough sunscreen? Overspray is obnoxious to everybody around you.
Just use yer damn hands.

It’s more likely bug spray as deet is toxic to turf.
Old spray sunscreen would kill turf too because of the alcohol in the solution but now most modern sunscreens are alcohol free.
That said i could show you 4773748373 pictures of damage exactly like this on my course.
My strategy is to put signs IN the damage with an arrow saying “this damage was caused by bug spray! Please apply bug spray on cart paths”
It’s been very effective. So many people come up and tell me the signs taught them something they were unaware of.
