Playing alone is the best – I like to play 2 ball and best ball with myself. But I’m on a cart not a walker so it’s easier

Love it. Early morning solo tee time is the best.
Golf is always good. But personally I prefer the round after work.
If its a tough day at the office its kind of a come down and gets tiring after you play 18 rounds early in the am.
Though the afternoon round is usually a nightmare in terms of speed…
I need to retire so I can focus on golf…
I’m envious, i start at 7.30am so hard to get even 9 in with travel etc 🙁

Walking solo is wonderful on an empty course.
Cool and crisp morning round alone is one of life’s gems. The birds chirping is all you can hear while you stretch and take a few practice swings. The morning dew glistens and light fog is lifting as the sun finally peaks over the trees As you approach the ball to take your setup, the birds hush and at the light breeze seems to calm to nothing. It’s like you have a gallery volunteer holding up that quiet sign. You are calm, quiet, focused. Then that magical sound of that first tee shot booming off the driver. Doesn’t matter if it’s piped down the middle, sliced into the water or pulled OB. You’re off on your round and ready to enjoy your little slice of heaven.

playing a solo round on a wide open course is heaven. it’s quiet. it’s beautiful. you can play at whatever pace you want. it’s the best!

My favorite rounds are in the afternoon specifically after thunderstorms have passed. Typically everyone is off the course, and you can do whatever you want. I turned a par 5 into my personal driving range haha. Still trippled that fucked

I find playing with people can be fun, but also distracting and I feel the pressure of having to rush.
