I have terrible short game and course management which are things I feel I can control more easily when I’m playing – but at the moment my biggest frustration is poor connection with irons – regularly shanking with balls flying off to the right. I do find that when I loosen my swing “let my wrists go” on the downswing the ball generally goes straighter- but keen for advice on swing generally.

At the top your shoulders are almost parallel to the ground. You want your lead shoulder to be pointed at the ball (down). You look like you are set up to hit something at waist level.

Differential practice. Practice hitting off the toe and heel. Play games with it. Got to hit 3 toe in a row then 3 heel in a row, if you miss one start over. Differential practice is more effective than trying to hit center of face only.

Towel drill. Arms are way, way disconnected on takeaway
